The packaging of the cream clearly shows it is an Olay product. The red, white and black box clearly identifies the Ingredients, cautions and Directions on one side and shows the product was made in Thailand. The opposite side indicates the purpose of the cream and shows that it is "Clinically proven" Reduces lines and wrinkles and is nourishing. The expected and "proven" results are on the back. The jar itself is a good size to fit in the palm of your hand. The red glass jar with the silver screw top lid is very elegant and the screw top lid is very easy to undo. However, on opening the jar I found the plastic seal with the small grip top extremely fiddly. On opening the cream spilt over the sides of the jar and each time thereafter when using the opening was quite messy. The cream itself has a pleasant subtle fragrance. It is very light and not greasy. You only need to apply a small amount of cream and it spreads very easily. The cream is very smooth and makes your skin feel very smooth and moisturised following application. It is extremely good to use prior to applying make up and aids in ensuring that your make up lasts all day. I used the cream 1-2 times a day for a couple of weeks. It seemed to hydrate my skin, make it feel soft and smooth and feel healthy as claimed. However, I do not believe it reduced any lines and wrinkles. That said, I do feel it is a good product for moisturising and to make your skin feel fresh and healthy.

As an older person I was happy to be selected to try this serum. On receiving the product I was impressed with the black and gold packaging. But, although it was easy to read information about the serum and how to apply I found it difficult to read the ingredients of the serum. I checked the website to find this information. On opening the serum is contained in a shapely bottle varying in colour from brown to black with gold lid and label. The screw type top is very easy to open and the plunge type dropper is easy to use and allows you to get the right amount of serum that is required. The serum itself is a pale orange/cream colour. I imagine it gets the colour from the citrus orange ingredient. On application the serum is very silky and smooth and evaporates quickly in to the skin. Although the information on the packaging indicates cell "optimal activity occurs at night, the peak starting at midnight" directions state to apply each morning and night. Whilst testing I sometimes applied twice as instructed and sometimes only at night. Despite this I found that the areas especially around my eyes and mouth appeared to be smoother after use. With the application being so easy and the positive results I will continue to use this serum.

I am not one who usually uses shakes but was quite happy to trial this product. I received two foil 55g packets of Eimele Vanilla flavoured Meal replacement shake to trial. The package was easy to open and contained a very light powder which I proceeded to add to 250ml of water in a shaker in accordance with the Directions for use. Despite shaking for some time I found the liquid contained quite a few lumps. When drinking it was a little too thick for my liking. Despite claiming to be a vanilla flavour I found the taste to be quite bland with very little flavour at all, let alone vanilla. I feel that I should have included the shake as part of a smoothie or supplemented it with some fruit to add taste. Although this is a meal replacement shake I felt hungry after about an hour even though I do not usually snack between meals I

Sebamed Liquid face and body wash comes in a 1000ml pump action plastic bottle it is manufactured in Germany. The pump action on the bottle is quite large so is easy to use. The product is for sensitive and problematic skin and is soap and alkali free. Directions for use and ingredients are clearly listed on the reverse of the bottle. On pumping the solution it is a pretty minty shade of green and has a lovely subtle fragrance. The liquid is not thick and I found a little seems to go a long way. I did find that it didn't lather up as readily as I would have liked but that is probably due to it's being soap free. For years I have had skin that is prone to pimples and other blemishes and as I age my skin has also become quite dry. On my face in particular I have only used one product for many years so was hesitant about trying a new product. After use I found this body wash was great for not only moisturising my skin but it was also suitable for use on my face. I did not "break out" as I do when using some products. The subtle fragrance stays with you and is an added bonus

The Shea Moisture Strength and Colour Care Masque comes in a 8oz/227g screw top plastic container with a gold lid and mauve and purple colouring on the label. The product originates from the USA. On the label there is a short history of the origins of the company as well as a full list of the ingredients, targetted user and clear instructions on how to use. It is clear that the product is aimed at coloured and brittle hair and it's purpose is to condition, moisturise and restore colour to you hair. On opening the masque is a pale mauve colour, in keeping with the purple rice water, wild orchid and violet extract used in the ingredients. It has a pleasant and subtle scent of violet. The masque is very thick and when applying to hair I found it a little hard to judge the amount to use. That said, I applied it to my hair and gently combed it through leaving it for five minutes according to the instructions provided. After 5 minutes I found the masque a little difficult to rinse out due to the thickness of the masque. After my first use my hair seemed to be a little dry, however after the second application the brightness and moisture had improved. I have naturally wavy hair and found that the masque , although it seemed to provide nourishment made my hair a little flat. It did however improve the shine and did provide some nourishment making my hair feel fresh and clean

Blistex lip conditioner comes on a red, yellow and orange card. The back of the card gives you information which is very informative and easy to read about the product. Directions are very clear instruction you to apply the balm 20 minute before exposure to the sun and if using on sensitive skin to test a small area prior to use, also to avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. The lip conditioner is contained in a small 7g screw top pearly white pot with red and white writing. The new formula has an SPF rating of 30 so provides a high degree of protection from the sun. Ingredients include Cocoa butter and Vitamin E. On opening the balm is a translucent lemony colour. Application is by dipping your finger into the balm and rubbing the balm over your lips. Only a very small amount of balm is required to cover you lips. The balm has a very subtly fragrance. On application the balm immediately supplies moisture and that moisture remains for a long time. However, when in the sun it is necessary to reapply every couple of hours in order to maintain both moisturising and protection from the sun. The subtle taste is quite nice.

Dermaveen Extra Hydration Intensive Moisturising Lotion comes in a 500ml white plastic bottle with a black pump action applicator. It has a large green circular label with cream/brown oatmeal sheaths and mauve and black writing. The product is Made in Australia and is vegan friendly and has not been tested on animals. Ingredients and information about the product are very informative and directions for use are very clear and easy to follow. The pump action is quite large and is therefore very easy to use and would be quite easy for those with restricted use of their hands. The creamy white lotion is quite thick in consistency and has a slight oatmeal scent. I mainly used the lotion on my legs, arms and hands and found that I only needed a small amount of lotion as it spreads very easily, however I found that you had to rub it in quite well as initially it did feel a little greasy. However afterwards my skin was extremely well moisturised and I found that on my legs where the skin is usually very dry I only needed to apply the lotion every few days to keep them moisturised. There was a light sheen where previously I had dry flaky skin. I found that the palms of my hands did continue to feel a little greasy and found it necessary to wash my hands thoroughly prior to doing anything further. The product does work very well and does deliver.

My Weleda Skin Food arrived in a green and white box containing a tube in the same colours. The product is manufactured in Germany. It is clear from the box that the product is Organic and the ingredients are listed down the side. The 75ml container has a flip back white lid that is very easy to open. On opening the lotion is very thick and has a pearlescent creamy colour. You only require a very small amount as a small amount of the cream spreads over a reasonably large area. It has a herbal perfume in which the chamomile and rosemary scents are predominant. Following application you can really feel the difference between the areas where the lotion has been applied and the other area. The smoothness is quite obvious and the skin feels quite supple. On normally dry areas I found that the results were extremely good but I do have a couple of small rough and hard marks on my skin where the product improved the area on application, however, afterwards the result was not ongoing and lotion had to be reapplied constantly to maintain suppleness.

I bought this product on line as I do not live near a store that stocks this product. When it arrived it was a slim and elegant applicator which is very easy to unscrew the lid in order to apply the mascara, The product is quite thick without being gluggy. The applicator brush is not very thick yet it applies a fair amount of the mascara on application to you lashes. I always order black mascara and this is very black.The brush does not separate the lashes as well as I would like and tends to make the lashes stick together it also does not lengthen the lashes as you would expect from the title of the product. I usually love Estee Lauder products but will not buy this again

The oil arrived along with my Q10 day cream in packaging that screamed "we are a team". The typical Nivea label was quite identifiable on the small rectangular packaging on which application instructions, ingredients and targetted user were quite clear.The tall cylindrical glass bottle has a gold screw top lid with an eye drop type applicator. The instructions for use are also shown on the bottle. On opening it is necessary to squeeze the top of the applicator to fill the glass dropper with oil. The oil itself is a clear, quite thin runny liquid. It has a subtle floral fragrance. On application a few drops spreads a long way so it is not necessary to use very much of the formula. On application your skin feels quite smooth without being greasy. It also feels that although you are putting an oil on your skin it is still able to "breathe". I felt the product delivered the pampering feel and provided some nourishing to my skin reducing the lines a little. With prolonged use I would expect that the oil will produce an increase suppleness to my skin
