I was glad to be able to trial this product for my skin as I have been considering skin needling to rejuvenate my skin! If I can avoid that kind of painful proces with a cream I will. And so thanks to BH for allowing me to trial this for 1 week. I am now in my forties so finding a night cream with reparative qualities is crucial. It is meant to be used in small doses, I found using everyday for 7 days was a bit strong. As my skin became a bit red and irritated towards the end. Also it is best to wear spf 50+ if you’re heading outside. It can make the skin quite photosensitive due to the retinol ingredient. I found my skin was smooth and fine lines were softened. I liked the way it smells as I applied it night before bed time. All you need is a pea sized amount. It also made my skin appear dewy and moisturised. In the morning there was no sticky feeling. Even though thI creeqm is quite thick. I would highly recommend to those ladies thinking of giving the face a bit of a rejuvenation without going to get a procedure done. I would also go out and buy it for my mum. It’s such a lovely cream

I can’t recommend this product enough. I love how it gives good coverage and sun protection when I’m at the beach. I also wear this under my make up and it doesn’t go oily or have a bad white cast. It’s versatile on the body too. And great when I go swimming in the water. A nice smell and generally very comfortable wear I like the size of the product as I can take it travelling and a little bit goes along way. I like that it has spf 50+ My kids use it too, so it great on sensitive skin. And they don’t usually like the stickiness of other sunscreens The formula is not thick at all and absorbs very well

Thanks BH for having me a part of this trial. I had actually run out of cleanser and though this would be a great way to try something new for my face. I have 30+ year old skin which is starting to go through some funny hormonal changes so I do find some trouble with breakouts on the chin. I used the milky cleanser for around 2 weeks, it has a nice subtle smell to it. Similar to the NIVEA products I have used before. It wasn't too overpowering and left a relaxing scent, so it was great to use before bed time. I wear light make up everyday, and figured it may be a good alternative to my micellar cleansers. I used about a 10 cent piece of the cleanser on a cotton pad as directed. And wiped it over my face, it was able to remove some of the make up from my cheeks and chin and forehead but not really my mascara and eye make up. It does feel a bit oily when I'm wiping it across the face, so it isn't drying at all. Quite moisturising, but I definitely don't get that "squeaky clean" feeling. It is a nice gentle cleanser, that doesn't strip your skin of it's natural oils, but I don't think I get the clean feeling that I'm after. I would recommend it maybe for someone who has drier skin types maybe? Unfortunately I really wanted to love it, as I am a fan of Green tea products. But this one didn't impress me.

I was chosen to trial the ProX by Olay Anti-aging Wrinkle Smoothing Cream as a part of he BH trial team. I'm in my mid thirties and always looking for the miracle cream to help me boost the hydration in my dry skin. Along with the serum, lotion in the same range I also used the smoothing cream. There isn't a noticeable fragrance to this cream, unlike older Olay creams this is very nice on the skin. The final step to the night time skincare routine, it has more of a gel like texture than a thick and rich cream. That is a plus, so you don't feel too sticky and gooey. I felt my skin really drank it in and by the time I was in bed it didn't feel like I had anything on my skin. My skin doesn't have any noticeable wrinkles to begin with, due to great genes (thanks mum!) but I do feel it is getting drier and drier. This cream help with repairing the skin moisture barrier, so I did feel the skin was staying hydrated for longer. More comfortable throughout the day and without having to remoisturise. I would recommend this cream to those who are starting out their anti-ageing skincare routines. I started in my mid twenties, so I say it's no harm in starting early with a preventive skin care. This range is a great introduction to this.

I trialled the ProX by Olay Anti-aging Rejuvenating Clear Lotion as a part of the BH trial team. I was very excited to receive this product as I'm now in my mid 30s and anything anti-ageing sounds good to me! I used it for a period of 1 week nightly after my cleansing routine, on top of the Serum of the same range. When they mentioned this was a lotion, I immediately assumed it would be a milky consistency possibly a bit more viscous and rich. However it turns out to be quite liquidy, watery even... I found it hard to apply on my skin. The instructions does say to pop it on a cotton pad and even a bit in the hands but I found both methods didn't feel like I was applying the product well onto the skin. It contains peptide to improve the skin surface. I'm not sure if this worked for me. Actually I experienced some strange break outs outside of the T zone, and I stopped using the product and it seem to have improved. I continued to use the serum and the smoothing cream in the same range with much success. So I think if you are not into lotions, you can probably skip this step. If it was say...an emulsion I think this would suit my face type better.

I was lucky to be chosen to trial the ProX By Olay Anti-aging 3D Youth Essence Serum, I had used this product after my normal cleansing routine to put back the hydration in my face before going to bed. I really liked the look of the pump bottle, it dispenses the right amount of serum to cover my face. I like to also put it on my neck and that requires another pump. It is a beautifully designed product with a glass body. There is a slight fragrance but not noticeable on the skin for too long. The skin just drinks it up, creating a sort of "blur" effect on the surface. It is not too sticky, goes on a little tacky but this soon goes away as it is absorbed. I like how it makes my skin feels instantly hydrated and youthful. I like to layer my skin care and the serum is the best thing to pump as much vitamins and good ingredients into the surface. I would recommend this to another girlfriend who is worried about heavy skincare, this feels so light and airy. And I noticed how it has smoothed the surface of my skin over a 3 week period.

Thanks BH for including me in this trial. I’m a big fan of sheet masks, since years ago when they came from Korea. I was so sure the only way to obtain a sheet mask was to wait for someone to travel overseas and get me a bulk lot. I am pleasently surprised to learn that now Australian beauty companies are jumping on this trend. The packaging is bright and cute and appeals to the younger generation I would say. Simple brand was something I used in my early 20s and to revisit this experience in my mid thirties is a bit amateurish in regards to my other beauty products that have anti ageing properties. The mask is easy to take out from the sachet, one time use only , once removed it is dripping with the solution. It can make it slippery and tricky to apply to the face. However the fabric is super soft and made from cotton, it is thick and soaked with solution. The cut outs aren’t as big and a bit more narrow in the mouth and eye area. Which made it a bit uncomfortable and itchy in places. The smell was “simple”, a clean smell that doesn’t irritate the nose. After 15 mins of having the mask on, I removed it and pat the excess into my skin. When it did dry, I felt my skin was moist, dewy and even the pores had tightened up. Although my skin was still slightly itchy, possibly due to the drying process. Overall it is a nice mask to use once or twice a week. I would prefer one with active ingredients to help with anti ageing. But this would suit a younger demographic.

Thanks BH for having me on the Nivea BODY OIL INFUSED LOTION - CHERRY BLOSSOM & JOJOBA OIL trial. I was keen to try this lotion out, as I seldom pop anything on my skin after a shower because of the fear of lotions being too greasy! The texture of the lotion is light, and is easily absorbed straight into the skin, Even if you forget to pop it on after a shower. My skin just drank it in. The moisturiser lasts for hours, I touch my skin half way during the day and it still feels smooth and not dry. I would say it is a perfect lotion for after sun or even just before bedtime. The jojoba oil feels super nourishing and doesn't leave a greasy feel at all. The smell at first was quite overpowering, as it is a perfume not derived from natural oils. But I didn't mind it in the end, as it dissapated quite quickly leaving the a slight scent on the skin, and wasn't too strong. The subtle lingering scent is actually quite relaxing. The bottle is has the distinct Nivea branding with a purplish blue colour and stands with a pump. .It dispenses a 10c piece which is enough to cover one limb.. I can see this 400ml bottle going a long way! It is a family friendly lotion, that I find my preteen daughter also trying it out for herself.

Thanks to Beauty Heaven for sending this Lady Jayne Detangling brush my way! I have been through my fair share of detangling brushes, and with 2 young girls who love to keep their hair long, it gets used very often in the morning before school. I received 2 sized detangling hair brushes. 1 X large paddle brush and 1 x small purse size brush. Both are in a nice royal purple colour and came with a lot of "holes". I can only really compare this brush to the Tangle Teaser that I used prior to this, and I actually chose the Tangle teaser as opposed to the Lady Jayne because I fell for the hype that Tangle Teaser is the ultimate brush. This trial completely switched me over to team Lady Jayne!! Even thought it doesn't look like much, and the plastic design looks cheap and almost breakable. Once I began using it on my hair, I realise the "holes" in the design distributed the pressure and "pulling" sensation on my scalp which made the daily routine of brushing my hair something me and my girls look forward to. Being a mum I hardly get time to brush my hair, and maybe it was due to bad experiences that I never enjoyed this daily habit. But with the Lady Jayne detangler it has made my phobia of brushing my hair disappear. I used it in the shower with wet hair and it helped with the application of conditioner, it just glided through so easily. My hair is rather long, and can be dry at the ends due to constant colour treatment. But the brush doesn't pull the hair and therefore I noticed less breakage. It's easy to wash and remove the unwanted hairs left in the brush, and as I said, the kids love to borrow it. I often see it missing because my 12 year old takes it for herself. I would highly recommend this brush to anyone, especially those with thick hair, or curly and wavy hair.

I was given this product as a part of the BH trial team and use it for approximately 1 week on a daily basis. I have used different Micellar Cleansing Waters in the past but not from the Garnier brand so I kind of had a platform to compare it to. The packaging of the bottle is quite large and I was happy about that because I use Micellar Water almost religiously! I don't know how I do without the stuff since I have to wear make up in my job everyday. The top lid is quite secure and encloses the dispensing hole very well avoiding any spills. The hole is small enough to squirt out the solution onto a cotton pad and this soaks it well enough to cover the entire face. I like the smell of the solution, but there isn't really a distinct smell because it isn't perfumed, making it kind to sensitive noses and skin! My skin felt immediately clean, I could see the leftover make up all on the cotton pad. I always use a second round and repeat the process because I like to double check the foundation is all gone. And this micellar water is great at removing it the first time. My eyes didn't sting, which some micellar waters can do. So that was a PLUS too! I have to say I'm very pleased with this trial and the results of how well it cleaned my skin!
