Thanks BH for giving me the opportunity to trial the discovery bag products! The Urth Skin serum came in 2 x 10ml bottles with a dropper. The whole set up reminded me of essential oils. There isn’t really much of a scent present which was nice as I was expecting something quite potent. The consistency was like a diluted jojoba which went a long way when applied to my skin. It felt very hydrating but I didn’t particularly like the oily feel it left on my skin as it’s quite oily to begin with. I think that it helped somewhat with my hormonal outbreak by reducing the redness. I’m personally a bit hesitant with using vitamin c based serums due to the fact that they interfere with a lot of the other serums I use.

Thanks BH for giving me the chance to review Dermalume Green Tea Face Mask! On first impressions, I could not get over how much product you get.. 90ml! The standard for face masks seems to be about 50ml so you’re getting really good value for money there. The scent is very clean and refreshing while the consistency doesn’t appear like a typical chalky opaque mask but rather more on the creamy, gel side. I loved how this mask did not dry my skin out like every other clay mask I’ve tried has. It calms, hydrates, soothes and refines, all in the one application. Being someone who has worked in high end day spas for a number of years, I’m extremely picky and critical when it comes to products. This is a product I’d definitely recommend and even purchase for myself! My skin was so smooth, plump and refreshed afterwards, I even managed to get my husband to have one!

Coming in a generous 75g tube, the Hamilton Everyday Face Sunscreen is great for all year round. I liked how it did not have much of a scent, no white cast, absorbed easily into the skin and most of all, left a smooth matte finish. As someone in their early thirties with oily skin, I don’t want to compromise on sun protection yet I don’t want to feel like I’ve been working a 12 hour shift at a fish and chip shop! It sat really well under my makeup and did not pill which I have found some to do in the past. This is a great product for everyone to add into their skin care routine as it’s suitable for all skin types and very budget friendly. I read an article about what skin care products to spend and splurge on and facial sunscreen is not one of them. SPF is SPF so whether it’s a $15 sunscreen or $50 sunscreen, it’s doing the same job being the same active ingredient. I do prefer an even lighter gel based sunscreen but that is just my personal preference but this is still a great option.
