The packaging is very high-end and is especially stunning when you are looking at an RRP of only $20.99! It beautifully dispenses a small amount, just enough each time so there's no wastage. A few drops were enough to cover my face, I didn't continue use on neck or decolletage as I didn't like the slight filmy residue it left. But I used it as recommended twice a day and replaced my regular serums before my other products I would regularly use on a daily basis. The serum is white, quite opaque and wonderfully fragrance-free. It feels like a light lotion, making it incredibly easy to spread on skin. I did find that it never truly absorbed into my skin after application, no matter how long I waited, it stubbornly left a bit of a 'filmy' feel to my skin which I really didn't like. Even after using a facial scrub or clay mask, which would normally make my skin soak everything up, I was left with this stubborn slight 'film'. (That being said, I did like using it after dermaplaning, it was very gentle and soothing.) The other issue I experienced was that if I chose not to apply a moisturiser on top of this (sometimes you just don't want to go through your whole skin care routine), it made foundation look terrible (liquid and powder). Most of the serums that I use have no issues with forgoing the next step of moisturising and applying foundation. It also did not play well with some of the core products in my regular skin care routine. Only 3 stars from me because of the stubborn 'filmy' feel and that it didn't play well with make-up and some of my regular products. Perhaps it would work much better for those with sensitive skin that is drier than mine, as I can be prone to an oily T-zone even in winter. Just because it wasn't perfect for me, I do see the huge benefits of a product like this for those with skin sensitivity as well as being a high quality product from a trusted Australian brand like QV that will not break the bank. Hence I would still 100% recommend it to others even though I will not be repurchasing.

Thank you for the opportunity to trial the Prevage Anti Aging Eye Serum 2.0. The product comes in a lovely silver tube in a colour matching slender silver box with orange accents. Refreshingly simple packaging with minimal waste. The tip of the tube has a beautiful, soft fingertip-like metal applicator that you use to massage the product into the skin around the eyes. I skipped dispensing the serum onto my finger and just used the applicator. The serum itself has a cooling effect which is amplified by the metal applicator tip. The design of the cap is very well thought out, as it has a plastic pin inside the cap that plugs the hole in the applicator leading to no waste. The serum has a very,very fine shimmer to it, and in the ingredient list you'll find 'mica'. When a skin care product makes claims that you will see a "visible improvement in fine lines...and uneven skin tones" and reveal "luminous, younger-looking eyes" and there is mica in the product, it is not the product that gives you "luminous" eyes and an improvement in "uneven skin tone" it is the reflective properties of the mica. It ceases to be a skincare product and skirts awfully close to being a cosmetic product. The serum has a light consistency, like a mix of lotion and gel. It seems like most things are labelled as a "serum" even if it really is just a lotion. I guess "eye lotion" doesn't really have a good ring to it. Its light consistency makes it easy to spread and only a small amount is needed for both eyes. It is absorbed very quickly without any residue. I've been using the serum for over a month twice a day and had completely stopped using my regular eye care products. The only discernible effect I noticed was hydration. But other than that I had no changes in my skins appearance, no changes in fine lines nor any positive effect on puffiness. In fact it left my skin sort of crepe-y and "fluffy", for lack of a better word. No matter what I used, be it foundation, concealer, powder or any combination of these, after applying make-up I looked so much older! I decided to stop using Prevage serum under my right eye and went back to my usual eye care routine. After a few weeks I could see a huge difference between my left (Prevage) and my right eye! My regular routine made my skin look more normal, make-up looked so much better as well. So this serum paradoxically made me look older! Absolutely not worth the price tag. Especially if the de-puffing effect you experience is merely the coolness of the metal applicator tip. For a fraction of the price you can just purchase a jade roller and keep it in the fridge and you can have the same cooling, de-puffing effect at your fingertips with any other eye cream of your choice. Not to mention that the "luminous" effect is merely the reflective qualities of finely ground mica... Grab yourself an illuminating primer instead. Yes, it did moisturise but that is really the only thing that it did. For it's price tag I would expect a lot more from a product than just hydrating my skin. I have used eye creams from prices that range from $20 to $70 and the Prevage most certainly does not give you $145 dollars worth of result. In fact the basic hydration that I noticed from the Prevage I have been able to get from eye creams on the lower end of the money scale.

Thank you for the opportunity to trial this product. The product comes in a stylish matte silver box with shiny silver accents to mirror the style of it's contents: the elegant, tall, hard plastic container with a shiny silver twist lid with the 60 matte silver capsules. Both inside and outside you'll find the Elizabeth Arden trademark red door accent. The fragrance of this serum is incredibly strong! I have never encountered a skin product with such a strong scent. Not only is it super strong on application, it also doesn't really dissipate very much either. It seemed a bit odd and a tad anachronistic considering that more and more brands are opting to go fragrance-free. I looked, and thankfully found a product I already used at home to try and and neutralise the scent. It was only thanks to this that I was able to continue with the Trial, with the slight change of only using in on my face and not on neck or decolletage. I am incredibly happy that I was able to keep going with the Trial! I have noticed that my skin tone has become much more bright and even-toned just after 4 weeks of use. I cannot wait to see what things will look like after long term use! Near my ears I have two obvious sun spots (approx 5mm diameter) and I have noticed that they have started fading. I will be hugely happy to see them keep on disappearing. Just generally the slight sun damage on my cheeks has faded and my skin looks great! I am really happy with how well this product worked Other than the super strong fragrance, I am also not a huge fan the individual capsules. 28ml of product is split into 60 individual capsules. It would have been better to forego all that excess packaging for a simple glass bottle with a pipette. Cutting back on waste and having much better control over the amount of product I want to use. (Since I only used it on my face, a single capsule lasted 3 or 4 applications.)

Finally, after many trials I have found a vitamin-C serum that works! Most of the other brands that I have tried, stated the same thing: you'll have glowy skin. And by that they meant that their product will create a shiny, sticky coating on your face creating the illusion of glowy, healthy skin. No Thank you very much. Not to mention with the other products, putting make-up on afterwards just made a big bad mess on my face. Whereas I have no issues putting make-up on (powder or liquid) as the Swisse serum is IN my skin not ON. It comes with a handy and hygienic pump dispenser, that with each pump dispenses just a perfect amount, so zero wastage. It doesn't really have a scent to speak of, unless 'fresh' counts as one. It has a lovely light, slightly watery texture that is easy to work with. This serum beautifully absorbs into your skin, leaving it smooth and hydrated. I've been using this for over 3 weeks now and my skin feels all the better for it. My skin feels nice and bouncy and I am slowly starting to see pigmentation evening out. I have already noticed a brightening of my skin. I am very happy with this Vitamin C serum. Hands down the best one I have very used. And boy have I tried a few!

I am not generally a fan of beauty products that have a fragrance, (I have an allergy to Linalool, which this does not contain) but this smells divine! Recently I have made a switch from my usual beauty routine and have found that very quickly all my products have been replaced by Olay items. I ran out of my last facial scrub and decided to give this one a try. It is a very gentle scrub with kind little microbeads in it, they are tiny little sugar-like crystals that slowly break down as you use the product, so you really cannot over-scrub. I am always a bit hesitant to use facial scrubs as most of the time I feel that they leave my skin feeling stripped and very tight. Not a great sensation. This product does not do that! My skin just feels super clean without that over-stripped 'squeaky' feeling that other scrubs tend to leave in their wake. My skin felt clean and refreshed. This product will remain in my beauty routine for sure!

I received this in the the Winter Warmers Discovery Bag. I have tried other rose-hip oils in the past, but never one that has only the one ingredient. It has always been a mix, such as the Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+. It is always great to try a product that is made in Australia. It states that it is made from local and imported ingredients, the oil is certified organic and is "ethically sourced". Kosmea's oil is incredibly rich in colour and has a beautiful earthy scent, which I love. It left my skin instantly soft and radiant. But and this is a very big but... I am very pale and I had to stop applying it to my face and only use it on my body because the oil actually left a noticeable orange tinge on my face even though I only used it sparingly. It's a shame because it felt beautiful on my skin. After applying it I felt no need to moisturise, as it left my skin feeling supple without any oily residue. Even on my body I can see a bit of discolouration but it is of no consequence there and it fades much more than on my face. It is still a beautiful product, I will just continue using it on scars and stretch marks on my body rather than on my face.

I received these Nad's Eyebrow Wax Strips in the Winter Warmers Discovery Bag. I have to admit that I have never waxed my eyebrows at home. It always felt like toying with disaster. Whoops! There goes an eyebrow! It took a day or two after receiving his to gather up the courage to have a go, but boy am I happy that I did! I don't have unruly eyebrows, but I do have a lot of very pale, barely there hairs that due to their fineness and near invisibility I could never get rid of even with my beloved and amazing Tweezerman tweezers. The Nad's wax strips took care of those for me, quick-smart. The strips are super easy to use and very surprisingly not at all messy or sticky. You cut them out (and as you gain confidence, you cut them to a perfect shape if you need to) and off you go! It is strong enough to get rid of those very fine hairs but gentle enough not to stick too much to or irritate the delicate skin around your brows. This is a product I normally never would have bought, but I most definitely will be purchasing this in the future, as I really love how 'clean' my brows look after using this. Not to mention that getting rid of those very fine near invisible hairs, make-up looks much better around the eyes. Thank you BH for the opportunity to try this and for introducing even more clutter into this lady's already packed bathroom haha!

I received the Kynd Collagen FORTE in the Winter Warmers Discovery Bag. I really do love the idea and philosophy behind this brand. I recommend looking at their website. For each Kynd product that is sold they donate a pouch of Kynd Immunity Powder to a child in need as well as food education. Their aim is global but due to the pandemic they are concentrating their efforts in Australia. Now to the product itself. It contains 2600mg of marine collagen, 6 beauty ingredients, 2 anti-oxidants as well as a prebiotic. While the collagen is derived from fish you would never guess it based on the taste! It really does taste like wildberry, so don't be put off by being worried about a 'fishy' taste. It is most definitely Forte! I have only used one other collagen product in the form of an effervescent tablet and that only contained 500mg of marine collagen. I have a genetic condition that affects my body's collagen production so I was excited to try something with such a high concentration! I have been using it for weeks and it is thus far difficult to say what if any benefits I have seen in my skin, hair or nails. To be fair a supplement like this is not something that you would see a benefit from in a matter of a few weeks. The problem for me would be the price: $29.99 for 10 sachets (10 days worth) is just out of my price-range with all the other medications and supplements that I have to take. I also agree with the other reviewers: I really dislike the sachets. On the box they mention why they chose to package it this way: "There's nothing worse than buying a product which you forget to use..." It would be much better it they made away with the current packaging and either changed the product to a simple powder formula with a scoop or as an effervescent tablet. Both would also produce less waste.

I received the Lanate cream to try in the Winter Warmers Discovery Bag. And I have found a new product to throw in my arsenal! I have always had problems with annoying KP on my upper arms. No matter what I did, how much I exfoliated or how much moisturiser I applied: it simply would not budge. Seeing the whopping Ammonium Lactate 17.5% content I was a bit worried as to how my skin would react, but I had no trouble at all, not even tingling. Surprisingly, a little goes a long way and the cream absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaving no sticky residue. I noticed a marked change in the texture of my skin on the 4th day and it just kept getting smoother and clearer with each application. You can feel the difference on even on your hands just from the action of applying the cream to your problem areas. I am incredibly pleased with this cream and I will most certainly be purchasing it again. Thank you BH for helping to clutter my bathroom up even more :)

Thank you for sending this lovely product to me in the Winter Warmers discovery bag. I love that they have zero scent and of all the facial wipes I have ever used one that left my skin feeling this refreshed! My skin felt clean without any feeling of product residue. I do like the bigger size as well, it's a nice little touch. These two factors make it a perfect addition to those hot summer days or when travelling to freshen up your face and neck. One very big thing though: it most definitely does not remove water-proof mascara. Not even a tiny bit. So if you are going to buy this because of this claim, then you will be very disappointed.
