I have never tried scalp scrub before because I never knew that we were supposed to exfoliate the scalp to remove build up. I was excited to try the product but found the formula a little thick upon application. I like the marine collagen concept with the vegan formula but I wasn't expecting the product to cling onto my hair so much upon rinsing. It took quite a bit of rinsing to get the product out but my scalp does feel cleaner after massaging the product and exfoliate flakes and excess oil. After the first usage, I tried a smaller amount from the recommendation and it was much easier to navigate. I think the amount of product depends on your hair volume and scalp type.

Maybelline is the only brand that my hubby can remember from shelves of make up I own. This New York Lifter stix is to apply with a lipstick like packaging. It is very versatile as you can use it to contour your face as well as highlighting. The formula is very hydrating so easily slides on your face with a creamy consistency and you can blend with your make up brush to sculp your face for more definition. I only gave this stick 4 stars because I wish the product comes in different shades in one stick. I only have a contour shade but would love to have a 2 in 1 lifter stick to skip having to pull out a highlighter to finish up my look. Perhaps Lifter Stix version 2 will understand a girlie's need in contour, conceal and highlight all in ONE!

I am still shocked why Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum did not win Best in Beauty 2024 when it was launched March last year. The cute droplet bottom and gorgeous pink should alone win a runner up! I guess most people may not have realised that this is a glow serum in addition to the original moisture surge hydration cream series. This is when effective marketing is required to showcase a great serum to do the product justice! Just like the other moisture surge series, it locks in hydration all day long and brightens your skin with gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells. My skin looks plump and dewy which means foundation would stay on smoother without drying.

Dont get fooled by the modest packaging by Du'IT Tough Hands. It's not the usual cute and pretty skincare marketing you are used to. This product does not follow mainstream packaging wow factor and speaks volume by winning 2024 Best in Beauty runner up awards. The formula is none irritating on your skin even when you have cracks or damages from repeated washing. This is a product perfect for all the housewives that comes in contacts with chemical based cleaning agents. My hubby never uses hand cream because it's just too feminine for him. When he saw the modest packaging of tough hands, he got curious so he squeezed a bit of cream on his "weather hands", it instantly restored moisture on cracked skin and he was so amazed by the results. I am pretty sure I spotted him using it on a regular basis. I think the modest packaging made him feel comfortable and the effectiveness pushed away any questions of loss in musculinity. Well done Du'IT, I get to feel softer hubby hands all thanks to you!

Oh my, I blush looking at the cute dewy serum blush drops by Nude by Nature. It's the cutest design ever! I feel like showing the bottle off to all my friends whenever I use it. It has the cutest packaging ever! I love this dewy serum blush because it's liquid based with hyaluronic acid which locks in moisture on your skin while giving your skin a dewy red glow once you blend it out. The formula is runnier than other blush I have used but it's nice to know that you can gently build up the colour without feeling scared about how strong your blush will look! It comes with 3 shades and if you colour match correctly, rest assured that you'll be looking cute and gorgeous all day!

I have been a fan of Burt's Bee Lip Balm when I was in school but I was always conscious of the white cast left behind by the bees wax so I was pleased to find Burt's Bee tinted lip balm. This lip balm is very hydrating with shea butter and botanical wax while leaving your lip with a warm red tint upon application. My lips stays soft and moisturised all day long and it's nice to know that I can apply this lip balm to give my lips a bit more colour without going over the top with a lipstick. I also find that it's actually quite nice to have a tinted lip balm because I find that some lipsticks dont stay on as long when you layer it above heavy lip balms. I have to admit that it does feel heavier and sometimes grainy in texture in comparison to my other holy grail lip balm because of the formula.

My mother is visiting next month and I have no doubt that she will be mother taxing this styler away from me. Maybe I should get another one from JB Hifi and add it into her Xmas present stash. Maybe I should build a beauty hamper using all my fav beauty products!

I have been a long time fan of Dermal therapy Lip balm and used the lip balm as a hack to hydrate areas on my face where makeup tends to crack due to dryness.
