I absolutely LOVE Bioactive Rosehip Oil and really appreciate the opportunity to trial it. I have very dry skin and this formula has been truly nourishing on my face, over the creases forming around my eyes, and on the winter dermatitis my hands experience. In fact they were so cracked and all hand freaks and oils were stinging and making the dermatitis more irritated. Not Bioactive Rosehip Oil though, It does not sting when entering broken/wounded skin. It smells beautiful not too overbearing.

Minenssey Clay Mask is such a beautiful face mask - it has worked wonders on my skin. While clay is known to extract impurities from skin and is often used in products for oily skin types, this luxurious mask is designed specifically for dry skin types. For this reason I was left wondering how it would feel on the skin and if it would leave that typical tight feeling on my skin - but it didn’t. Instead, Minenssey Clay Mask felt cool and soothing on my skin, the mask is easy to move over my face as it doesn’t dry on skin like typical clay masks do. It practically melts over the skin and when rinsed off it melts away then too. The result: my skin is left feeling soft, smooth, and visibly hydrated - gone are the rough patches and flaking skin. Hello hydration. It’s hydrating benefits mean that it can be used in your hair as a hair mask or even over your body. The floral scent is beautiful as well, not too strong but just enough to leave its positive mark. Minenssey Clay Mask is such a beautiful, luxurious skincare experience. It’s other unique trait is how it is packaged - in a beautiful kit with single use pods packaged separately and a brush for application. I would say that this is my only gripe. For sustainability and environmental reasons I would love to see it in a tube or jar instead. This would not only cut down on packaging but also make the product last longer because when used over the face, there is a LOT of leftover product in a pod. That aside, Minenssey Clay Mask is heavenly and I would love to continue using in the future.

What a beautiful, refreshing eye gel - I am a big fan. Superceding a former Olay eye gel I used to use and love, Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Gel is new and improved. Perfect for those who experience dry, sensitive and tired eyes, or dark circles, this baby cools the area, soothes, hydrates and revives. While it does really offer anti-ageing benefits as such, Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Gel is fabulous for hot days when tired eyes need reviving. Or new mothers who have dark circles and little to no sleep - trust me as I can relate to this! Because I experience dry, tired eyes and slight dark circles, I find Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Gel is handy to keep in the drawer at work for midday touch ups. Being a clear gel, it easily presses into skin without ruining makeup. The jar is compact, lightweight and easy to use, though because it works mainly to soothe skin, I feel the product is a little expensive in comparison to Olay's former eye gel which retailed around $30.

Ahhhh I am SUCH a fan of La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF 50+, it can honestly do no wrong in my eyes. Perfect for all skin types and sensitive skin, Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF 50+ is a beautiful lightweight sunscreen that blends int skin with ease. A 10 cent piece-size is all you need to give your face and neck appropriate coverage without oily residue or a greasy scent. That's right folks this wondrous little squeeze bottle gives your skin ultimate sun protection without irritating, smelling bad or leaving your skin oily. As I have dry skin I personally prefer to apply Anthelios XL Ultra-Light SPF50+ directly on skin or mixed with my liquid primer and then applied to skin before foundation. It glides on easily and does not ball up which is a huge bonus. I LOVE its lightweight texture and how quickly it absorbs into skin without leaving skin feeling dry or tight. Anthelios XL Ultra-Light SPF50+ has a pleasant subtle scent that does not irritate skin and disappears shortly after applied. Compared to the two sunscreens I regularly purchase, Anthelios XL Ultra-Light SPF50+ is really well priced - about $10 less than other face SPF's in the same quality category. I am so elated that La Roche-Posay is so accessible, and I will be sure to pick up another from Priceline once this one runs out because why pay more when this offers the same effect!

BB creams are all the rage right now and in my opinion Estee Lauder's products are some of the best on the market. Estee Lauder Double Wear All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup is no exception. The first BB cream to be released by Estee Lauder is just beautiful, in my opinion needing only a little room for improvement. Let's start with the colour range: All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup comes in six shades ideal for most skin types but it is important to know they are pink-based. What does this mean to you? Well most makeup artists tend to prefer yellow-based foundations because they appear more natural on the skin whereas pink-based foundations can make skin appear dull, tired and dare I say sick. Personally I too avoid pink based foundations from my own personal experience and as my skin throws warm tones I was left with a beautiful foundation that failed to flawlessly match my skin tone. Whilst only I would have probably been the only one to notice this, I was sure to press a yellow-based powder over the foundation to set the look and colour correct the application.
BB Moisture Makeup really does hydrate skin thanks to its lovely fluid formula which blends over skin with ease and sets nicely to a satin finish and is perfect for those seeking light to medium coverage. Although I don't need to cover my skin, on work days I like to achieve a medium/full coverage. All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup is best suited to a medium coverage at most and I discovered that by adding more can make this BB cream ball up and separate. The formula lasts all day long but requires a touch up though the day to ensure skin stays looking fresh and its scent is soft, subtle and barely there. If All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup was to appear in yellow-based shades and offered fuller coverage then I would purchase it without hesitation, but if you are not as picky with your foundation/BB creams I would certainly still recommend and rate it highly - I am just choosy with foundation because to me a good base is everything. Skin certainly feels hydrated through ongoing wear of this product but I still urge you to use a skincare routine as you would. All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup receives a round of applause for offering an SPF 30+ coverage because this is a must-have attribute for health-conscious women and for offering a varied range of shades for a good majority of skin tones. From fair to dark, Estee Lauder is known for embracing cultural diversity whereas many brands only offer 2-3 shades in a BB cream.

Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream is stunning in so many ways. Let's start with its multi-purpose formula: say goodbye to your day and night moisturiser because Eternal Youth doubles as a day and night cream. Fast absorbing with anti-ageing properties, the formula is perfect for normal and dry skin. Approaching winter I noticed the skin along my cheekbones had become rough and dry. They would not soften with regular exfoliation, and started to reject my blusher/bronzer but when I added Eternal Youth into my regime and continued to cleanse and exfoliate, the dry skin started to soften and the rough layer slowly started to come away. Four weeks on my skin feels as soft as baby's skin, and makeup application appears more natural, gliding on with ease once again. See, makeup and skincare really do go hand in hand. I am already seeing rave reviews from beauty editors for this moisturising cream and I too have joined the ranks in singing its praises. I look forward to using this overtime and seeing what else my skin's future now holds.

Cheek Pop is the best! I have never come across another blush with a pressed powder and gel consistency all blended into one but it makes the formula truly unique. Clinique are not lying when they claim that Cheek Pop is virtually powderless because at first glance the formula appears to be a creme blush. Although Cheek Pop only comes in four shades, you can be sure that this blush truly packs a punch in the colour stakes. Simply gradually build up the colour on the apples of cheeks and blend back along the cheekbone toward the hairline. The shades in the range are simply beautiful and all different so there's no need to stop at one - choose two at a time and alternate to change your mood or to transform your day look to an evening look. Cheek Pop is really well priced because the heavily pigmented formula lasts a long time - only a little is needed. Peach Pop is my current favourite shade because peach accentuates all skin tones and always gives skin a healthy glow. This blush lasts all day long, staying beautiful and fresh as the hours pass. The packaging is slimline and compact making it perfect for carrying with you if you would prefer, although a touch up will not be necessary unless you wish to add more for an evening look. The scent is very subtle and almost non-existent, and the formula is so gentle I would recommend it for all skin types without hesitation. Next time you purchase a blush be sure to head to a Clinique counter and purchase Cheek Pop because it will not disappoint.

I have been particular with my brows for many years but it can be an expensive feat to achieve fuller, fluffy brows. Until now. When I discovered Maybelline Tattoo Brow 3 Day Gel I could not wait to get started! Available in three shades, this lasting gel comes in a tube similar to a mascara but features a small brush applicator within for precise application. The gel is dark in colour (and scary for first-timers) but the finish is SO natural that you need not be scared. As I have blonde hair and light brown brows, I tried Tattoo Brow in light brown, brushing it over my brow hairs and across the sparse areas to ensure good coverage and then I left it on for 20 minutes while it dries and sets (even completely forgetting about it for a moment there). While the instructions suggest applying a thick layer and then peeling it off in one foul swoop, I seemed to have a little trouble removing the dried product and so I removed it using a dampened face washer with warm water and gently moved it in the direction of brow hair growth, and then back again the opposite way. The result: the most natural and beautiful brow colour which simply offers a super natural and low maintenance approach to tidy and fuller brows. Now I can slick brows with gel and head out the door with confidence whereas before using Tattoo Brow I would spend a lot longer trying to groom and tidy my brows in shape to cover the untouched areas. Once applied and its excess removed, the remaining product will last on skin for 2-4 days, naturally and ever so subtly wear away. Sometimes I will go over areas for a little more coverage but all in all for $25, Tattoo Brow 3 Day Gel is going to save women spending hundreds on brow grooming and tattoo appointments guaranteed!

First I would like to say I was so pumped to have the chance to trial L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sexy Balm and while these glossy lip products have been a delight to play with, I have had some very minor reservations to perfect the formula. So what is Sexy Balm exactly? This part-lipstick/part-lip gloss (best described as a gel balm) envelopes lips in a coat of colour complete with a silky gloss finish. Sexy Balm comes in a sheer and bold finish which means you choose the intensity. Available in 12 beautiful shades, four of which I tried, I particularly fell in love with a pretty sheer pink shade called Gossip and the ever bold plum balm named Wasted (it is VERY Fifty Shades). Other shades I tried are: Clueless and Can't Sit With Us (love the names by the way)!
Let's talk Sexy Balm Sheer for a moment: I absolutely love the subtle colour that the Sheer formula offers, but I particularly love its silky-smooth gloss finish... it almost feels like liquid as it glides over lips! Perfection. Because the formula is sheer and super glossy (which is something I really love), this does mean that Sexy Balm Sheer wears off lips rather quickly. The colour lasts on lips but the gloss factor disappears in less than 30 minutes and that's when I start frantically reapplying.
On the other hand Sexy Balm Bold is a gloss-free matte formula that offers fuller colour coverage and lasts for hours on end. Sure, the colour needs a little touch up here or there (especially if you're wearing a deep or bright shade like their Wasted shade) but I was mighty surprised to see a the Bold formula is a different finish to the Sheer version so perhaps they should be marketed separately? Claiming to provide 12 hours of hydration, I admit that my lips feel softer and much smoother when wearing Sexy Balm Sheer, but I don't experience such a difference when wearing the Bold formula because it needs to be less hydrating/glossy to ensure the colour stays. L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sexy Balm is really well-priced and perfect to keep in your handbag for last minute touch-ups or to use as an every day product. Choose your intensity and lip finish, and go on about your life feeling confident!

I prefer acetone-free nail polish removers and I have sensitive skin so this ticks all the right boxes. Acetone Free Remover for Healthy Nails does exactly that...it removes without stripping your nails of moisture and stops them from feeling parched, and dried out. It's a win-win!
