I have never used a retinol product before so I was quite nervous, as I am also a sensitive skin sufferer, which is likely why I’ve been too afraid to use a retinol product. I definitely have some issues to give it a good test run. I have just turned 40 and I’ve had wrinkles for quite a while, progressively getting worse and worse. I suffer the worst wrinkles on my forehead. I also have wrinkles between the eyebrows, naso folds, and under eye also. So I feel I good contender to trial this product. I will note that I did not use the cream on my under eye area. I followed the instructions and started slowly to let my skin adjust, and not knowing how my skin might react. I started off leaving a day between uses at first, and after a few days I used daily. I noticed on the first two times using it my cheeks did sting and prickle a little bit. My forehead did not. But this stopped after about the 3rd use. I noticed when I got too near a scar from a mole removal near my ear it stung a lot, so I had to keep distance from the scar. Very sensitive area and this confirmed my instinct not to use it on my under eye area. It’s just too sensitive. Within the first few days I noticed immediately my skin felt much softer. I have quite rough and uneven skin. It definitely smoothed out my texture and roughness. I absolutely loved the subtle scent. It’s a very light clean scent. I dislike heavy fragranced creams and avoid them due to my sensitive skin. I usually react to things that are too heavily scented. I was very impressed with the non-overpowering scent and it did not irritate my skin. As the 2 weeks approached I absolutely noticed my skin felt like velvet. It’s smoothed out my skin so much. I can notice a very slight improvement in wrinkled areas. I will be so interested to see further use. So far seeing the result after 2 weeks I’m really loving this cream and will definitely repurchase just off my initial experience. It’s really worth a try. I think it might be my favourite night cream I’ve used ever! Do absolutely recommend.

This was a really smoothing and hydrating hair serum. I found it really smoothed my frizziness and left my hair so soft. I have greasy hair and I liked that it didn’t make my hair greasy and lasted well until the next wash. It comes in a great size squeeze tube. I loved the scent. I found it maybe slightly runny. For use in the shower I lost a bit off my hands and hair. Would prefer slightly thicker, but being a serum it is ok. You can use it in place of conditioner or after conditioner so for a weekly treat I used it after conditioner and my hair was so hydrated and nourished. On a normal day use it as a conditioner. All up a lovely product.

This is a lovely thick conditioner that coats the hair really well. The scent is lovely but not overpowering. Leaves hair very soft and smooth and not greasy. It also really smoothed out some frizz and damage. I like that the lid is at the bottom of the bottle so that as it gets nearer to be finished you can still get product out easily. This is a great product for all hair types and the whole family. It did wonders for my sons coarse hair also who suffers dry scalp and I coated his hair and let it sit and it helped immensely with his dryness and flaking.

I have always liked most Dove products and particularly their shampoo and conditioners. This is another great product. My favourite thing is it leaves my hair really soft and smooth and hydrated, without being too greasy. I find a lot of products that claim to smooth and hydrate leave me greasy after one day and I usually can’t last 2-3 days between washes. This product is great that I get to the 3 day mark easily. I do suffer greasy hair and this is what I love about Dove. I like to stretch out hair washing as much as possible. The scent is really nice and the product is a nice thick consistency but lathers up well. I’m not hugely keen on the shape of the bottle. But all up a really great product and the entire family really enjoyed using it too. Great for all our hair types.

This mask is very thick and rich and luxurious. The scent is really pleasant and not overpowering. It does a fantastic job at coating the hair and you can literally feel it smoothing and detangling instantly. It did a great job at smoothing frizz and split ends and leaving hair really smooth. I did find it made my hair slightly oily in that the day after washing I was quite oily, whereas I normally try to only wash every 3rd day. It is however a repairing mask and does what it claims in terms of results so the surge in moisturisation is kind of expected in a hair mask. I do think it is a great product and for non-oily hair types this could be used weekly. For oily hair types like myself I will use it fortnightly.

This mask is a beautiful treat for blondes. It is so rich and creamy with a really beautiful scent. It leaves hair really soft and moisturised without being too oily. It is a lovely addition to purple shampoo and conditioner to brighten up blonde hair but not leave it too ashy or purple. As I bleach my hair but also use heat styling tools far too often my poor hair does get put through quite a bit of torture. This is such a lovely product to treat damaged hair but also brighten at the same time. A perfect trio with its matching shampoo and conditioner from the same range.

It does not leave any purple or ashy tint to blonde hair and just leaves hair moisturised and smooth, without being greasy. It’s scent is mild and really pleasant. I am a long term purple shampoo and conditioner user as I am a bleach blonde and go brassy when I’m near due for a salon visit. I have many brands I have tried that leave a purple or ashy tint to my blonde and I really don’t like this. Some brands are far too pigmented and harsh and can overly dull blonde hair. I am so happy this conditioner did not do this and it’s definitely on my list of longterm purple conditioners now. Added plus that it leaves hair so soft and smooth and is a fantastic conditioner.

I am a long-term purple shampoo user as I am bleach blonde and tend to go brassy at my roots when I’m a few weeks out of getting my roots done. I have tried many brands and the thing I look for most in a purple shampoo is one that doesn’t leave a purple tint or turn my hair “too ashy” as some brands have been far to strong and left me with grey hair almost. I am so pleased this purple shampoo did not do this. It left my hair really bright and refreshed. No purple or ashy tint. I never used to use purple shampoo every wash for this reason but feel this purple shampoo is mild enough to use frequently and keep your blonde bright. I found the scent mild and lovely. The texture is great and lathers really well. It leaves the hair clean but soft and not stripped. This is a fantastic purple shampoo and I would highly recommend it. I also suffer greasy hair and try to avoid washing my hair frequently and this did not cause me to get oily. I rate this as good as my usual longterm purple shampoo and would re-purchase for sure. I have a large of brands that are far too harsh and strong for me and this has been a fantastic addition to my list of good shampoos :)
