About me

I am a beauty lover in my 20s , I have light coloured skin, brown eyes, an ever changing hair colour with a base of blonde highlights (at the moment its a faded light blue green colour. I'm pretty short but full of personality. I have sensitive dry skin, I'm very fussy about my face products because of this. I use natural products exclusively for my skincare and dabble with natural makeup as well. I'm an addict of all things beauty, in the recent years I've tried to hold back and value the things i buy more rather than having too much products that don't get used. I'm a vegan and health and wellbeing are very important things to me, especially after having health issues since 18 years old. I love disney, glittery things, rainbows and all that fun stuff. Ironically most my clothes are black but my pjs usually look like I've tried to wear ever colour known to man. I've had intense addiction to natural lip balms over the years its excessive to say the least haha. Mascaras or lashes I should say are a big thing for and tends to be what I buy most of along with nude lipsticks. Nude lipsticks are just a real issue for me cause I want to buy them all and I struggle with it, and being light skin toned I feel like I'm constantly searching for the perfect nude. I have a sensitive nose I'm the fussiest person when it comes to scents and smells so only I can buy myself perfume as i also get headaches. I love food, a lot... chai lattes I can't seem to get enough of. My partner, family and friends mean the world to me, as does honesty. I try my best to have a positive attitude, I love meeting mew people and making new friends, I believe in kindness and being respectful. I watch way too much youtube and have a serious obsession with tv shows (specifically from the 90s). I love a laugh and I think I have a great sense of humour and i think it's an important thing to have in life. Most people I think are spending too much time online or with toxic people so I think my goal is to be mindful of this and try not to let these things impact me. Ultimate goal is to just travel with the love of my life and be happy, find a career that makes me happy and have all my loved ones be happy and healthy, including myself. Your health is everything.

I actually really like this lip gloss and I'm not big on lip gloss but I really love the colour. It's a flattering nude shade, it adds a decent amount of colour for a lip gloss without looking 'too much'. I'd recommend a lip balm underneath if you get dry lips like myself because I've noticed that it doesn't dry out my lips but it doesn't add enough moisture to fix the dry lip issue. but that being said it looks far better than if i were to apply lipstick on dry lips. Texture is ok, not too sticky. It's a small tube but i don't feel like I need a lot so it's lasting me pretty well. You do need to reapply frequently - which is normal. I like that Carmex is trying to add a bit more natural to their usually very unnatural brand. For reference my skin tone is on the fair and neutral side and this looks great! Highly rec for nude lippy lovers that want a quick pop of colour without the fuss :)

I don't have eczema but I get very sore dry hands and I bought it to help them overnight because my skin isn't as severe in dryness compare to eczema, so it seemed like a good idea. It's very greasy, which I can cope with but to me, it doesn't feel like it's providing moisture to my skin, rather keeping things from going in or out - I tried layering with other creams but it didn't do much. I wouldn't recommend - they're a better ointment and creams out there. In theory the ingredients sound good but in reality it just doesn't do much of anything.

I think this moisturiser is beautiful. It's creamy satin finish is one of my favourite parts, especially since I don't find this greasy or heavy on the skin. I have dry sensitive skin and I used this mostly as my night time moisturiser (but sometimes during the day - it works for either). I appreciate that a little goes a long way and it also lasted me longer than I thought it would. I hate fragrance and strong smells on my skin and I'm happy to say this ticked that box. Hydrating, sensitive-skin friendly, no offensive smell ( I believe it's artificial fragrance free), layered well with other products, great for morning or night. The only thing I'd say is I preferred using this with other oils or hyaluronic acid most of the time because it gave me more moisture (which my skin needs) so this did a good job by itself but, for me it wasn't enough for all the time. I didn't notice a huge change in my skin barrier BUT I think next time I would try it morning and night to see if this affects that (I'm talking in terms of skin texture). I do really really like it but there's something missing for me to not give it 5 stars, but its a great moisturiser and I'd definitely repurchase! I would definitely recommend this as you're most likely to really like it of we have similar skin types.

I literally have bought 3 packets of these because I have a bad habit of leaving hair ties everywhere! So i bought 3 packets to have enough always in circulation as i lose and find them. Anyway that's how much i love these that i bought an excessive amount.
I got them in the pastel /colourful colour pack which includes a mint green, lilac, pale yellow, candy pink and a darker sky blue. The colours are beautiful!
The reason these are my favourite and why i chose these to buy in the first place is they're all material, no metal bits! So therefore no hair pulling and hitting yourself with the metal by accident (maybe that only happened to me) High quality, super comfortable on the hair, no seams or uncomfortable metal bits, doesn't pull or snag, washable, soft and just amazing! Seriously highly recommend these! Best hair ties, worth the price. A few have stretched out from being so used and pulled but it takes them such a long time to get to that point and they're still good to use, unlike your regular hair ties that can snap or be unevenly stretched. BUY THESE!

This use to be my absolute favourite lip product! It no longer is since Burt's bees redid their shades and got rid of the best colour "honeysuckle" which was my HOLY GRAIL nude shade, to say I was heartbroken they did this was an understatement.
I'm confused as to why they got rid of so many beautiful shades and now I'm left without a nice nude shade for light to medium skin tones.
I know there's a shade "zinnia" which i haven't tried because it looks too dark for me Anyway on with the review, I find these to be a nice texture I can understand when people don't think it's hydrating enough but keep in mind its not a lip balm. I however do find them hydrating, usually I would apply lip balm underneath especially if my lips were feeling dry. However I do feel this gave a nice amount of moisture and a beautiful amount of colour to the lips.
The colour it gave was a really great amount, less than a lipstick but still a really appropriate amount and what I'd expect from a tinted lip balm If you did apply this on chapped lips it depends how dry your lips were. If they were really dry it didn't look flattering on the lips (which would be standard with any colour applied to the lips). I always felt $15 was too expensive for the size, so I'm pleased to see they've lowered the price a bit. "honeysuckle" was the perfect nude, not too pink and not too peachy just such a lovely colour. I tried many colours from the old shades but this one was my go to and a standout It wasn't overly glossy, more of a satin finish which is what i like! Plus it wore off the lips really nicely, as you'd wear it hours later even where it was almost completely off the lips it still had the hue of the tinted lip balm and looks still so nice! This would favourite Burt's bees lip balm I've tried. This is a beautiful peppermint scent lip balm which provides you with a little bit of a tingling sensation to the lips (definitely not a burning feeling).
It's a thicker and waxier textured lip balm (which i like) I find these textures work nice most of the time for me. It's a creamy feeling lip balm, I like that it isn't highly glossy on the lips cause i prefer it not to be In terms of how long it lasts it varies, sometimes I felt like I had to reapply a lot with lip balm and other times not as much so I'm not too sure about longevity and also that varies with eating, licking your lips etc.
Love the natural ingredients that's the reason why I purchased it BUT the price is pretty ridiculous in my opinion $7 for a 4g lip balm is too much. Great lip balm though and definitely a must try from the Burt's bees range.

I'm what you'd call a lip balm addict, it's a real problem and so I tried these immediately when they first came out (as any lip balm addict would do) I remember trying 3 different scents ( can't remember them all except I know I had the berry one and the one with orange and green colours on it at the time) Personally i wasn't a big fan of that oily texture on the lips. I don't feel like i get the best results from oily lip balms, I feel like they just hit on my lips without hydrating cause I can still feel the dry skin underneath. That being said it's not too bad, it did an alright job but I haven't repurchased since (also cause I use natural lip balms cause of better results) and wont ever repurchase these again cause they didn't blow me away. I found the scents nice but can be a bit fake/ chemical smelling which isn't the nicest. Adorable packing though, love the design and colours, very fun looking. They're a good price and worth a try if you don't have very dry lips and like an oily texture but otherwise I'd skip these.

These have been the best makeup removing pads I've found, soft and durable i think sums these up. I've since tried other brands that were cheaper and they have fallen apart while being used, on occasional left pieces of cotton fluff but with the swisspers this wasn't an issue. The quality are superior to other brands and in general swisspers do have a high quality product standard (from what i've used at least).
Perfect for makeup removal around the eyes (which is my main use for these). One thing i will say is the stitching ( i guess that's what you'd call it?) isn't scratchy like the rectangle ones but you do have to be careful when removing makeup around the eye not to poke yourself with that bit as it's a bit stiff (hence the four stars). Worth a mention i guess but this isn't a big deal and I've heard you can get it without the stitching too Overall, great wipe can be used for many different things. Both sides can easily be used as well (which is more cost effective and less wasteful). They are durable enough to take off you makeup with, keeps there shape and doesn't fall apart. Highly recommended.

First off i will say don't expect this to take every single blackhead / clogged pore from your nose cause that wont be the case. It does remove a good amount of gunk but it depends, I find my results vary each time and depends on the skin. Steaming or wetting a hot face washer (not boiling or painfully hot water) gives better results as the pores should be open. I think this is something to have as part of your skin care routine from time to time, it's important not to overuse these as it will be damaging to the skin I find these to be very similar to the charcoal pore strips, personally I don't notice a huge difference. I do really like them though you'll get some blackheads removed from your skin and it's always fun to see what you get.
Keep in mind it wont perform miracles and completely clear your skin from all clogged pores I have sensitive skin but don't notice any issues, but I don't use these strips very often.

A trusted brand and a quality product that you know you can count on. I've tried many different brands but I keep coming back to this. The quality is just superior. Many brands can be a bit scratchy or pokey (which you don't want) but these are soft, durable and well made. I've gone through countless of these, especially with new piercings these past few years I've bought so many and know I can always count on it. It's a bathroom essential and it's the best you can have. Countless uses, can't live without them.
