I received this as part of a trial, thank you BH. The serum bottle is well packed and comes in a chunky brown and gold glass bottle which is not my personal taste but it’s all about what’s inside. The dropper didn’t work properly for me, each time I squeezed it I would only get about a third of the product that I should get so I had to dip and squeeze a few times to get enough serum. The serum itself has a mild fragrance and a fantastic texture which I really liked and it felt very luxe on my skin. It absorbs well, is not sticky and feels great on my skin. I used this morning and night and found it was not hydrating enough even with my moisturiser on top. I had no reduction in wrinkles and my skin did not look tightened at all so unfortunately this didn’t work for me. Because of this it is not a serum that I would repurchase and continue to use. I think it would be fantastic for someone who does not have dehydrated skin.

I have very dry lips and I was really happy to be included in this trial of the Minenssey Lip spa regenerating balm, thank you BH. Minenssey Lip Spa comes in a beautifully packaged 12ml tube with a slanted applicator, just need to squeeze the tube slightly for easy application. The lip balm has mango seed butter and lemon myrtle and the smell is fantastic, I am a bit of a lemon myrtle fan. Minenssey products are Australian made using natural ingredients and on their website they have that they do not test on animals and are against it, this is a big plus for me. I have been using the lip balm for about 2 weeks now and I love the scent, texture and the feeling on my lips. It is very moisturising, hydrating and my lips feel great when this is on. I recommend this lip balm for anyone who has dry lips.

I received the Satin Liquid Lipstick as part of a Nude By Nature Trial. This lipstick is like a lipgloss with glass bottom, gold lid with a lip gloss applicator. It is a generous 3.75ml and comes in the Nude By Nature signature coloured cardboard packaging. The lipstick has sweet almond oil, Shea butter and is enriched with native Australian Kakadu Plum and Desert Plum. The colour I chose is the 09 Rich Plum, it is a very rich, dark colour and really nice. The applicator ensures the lipstick goes on smoothly and evenly. I did find that for the first few seconds I put this on, my lips tingled which I didn’t really like however it did settle down. It looks really good on my lips I did not have to reapply too often with this lipstick. I would like to see what the other colours are that this lipstick comes in and get it in a Nude colour. I received the Nude By Nature Sheer Glow Colour Balm as part of a trial. The packaging is in cardboard with the Nude By Nature white and gold colours with the ingredients and directions. This Balm contains Kakadu Plum, mango seed butter and vitamin E. The actual balm looks like a small lipstick 2.75g, the tube is rose gold with a clear lid and looks really good. There are 4 colours in this range and the colour I chose is the 04 Berry and I love it. The Balm goes on smoothly, you can make it darker by applying more but it is a subtle colour which has a really nice silky shine. I also found the balm quite moisturising and as I have very dry lips this is great for me. I did have to keep reapplying but no more than with a normal lip balm. This will lost definitely be a repurchase for me.

I re dived the Nude By Nature Perfecting Lip Primer as part of a trial, thank you BH. This comes inside a cardboard box which has all the ingredients and directions. The actual lip primer is 2.75gm, looks like a small lipstick, it is white with the signature Nude By Nature gold and is super cute. It goes on like a normal lipstick and has a slight minty taste to it. I smudged it to just outside my lips as per the instructions. I then applied my lipstick over the top. I did not find the lip balm very moisturising, I have very dry lips and thought this might be a great primer to help with that. I also found that it didn’t make the lipstick last any longer than it normally does without the primer. I think this would be a great primer for people who do not have really dry lips, for me personally it is not a great moisturising product but is a good primer otherwise.

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Maybelline New York Color Sensational made for all lipstick trial. I received the 382 Red For Me Matt and the 376 Pink For Me Matt. The lipsticks are packaged in a rectangular tube that matches the lipstick in colour and with a Matt finish the same as the lipstick along with a silver twist bottom. Both lipsticks have a very subtle scent and taste which is very pleasant. They glide on easily, smoothly and look really moist on my lips which I like. The pink for me was a perfect colour, it’s not a bright pink and looks like a browny pink on my lips and is my favourite out of the 2. The red is far too bright for me and I did not go out wearing this but had it on at home to try it. I put a few coats of each colour on when I used them and felt this bought the colour out more and made them look creamier. The lipstick lasted for about 2 hours before I needed to reapply, I found them quite moisturising and there was no bleeding on application. Overall I found these to be a wonderful everyday lipstick and they are a great price as well. I am very keen to try the other colours in this range in the plum, mauve and fuchsia.

The L'Oréal Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Day Cream is part of this range that I have been lucky to be part of trialling, thank you BH. As with the night cream the day cream is 50ml and comes in the same gold packaging with the smoked glass jar and gold lid, quite sleek and the set looks good sitting on my makeup table. The same ingredients of Manuka honey with its restoring properties and the Calcium B5 as antioxidant are a wonderful bonus for those of us with ageing skin that needs a bit of help. The day moisturiser has the same scent as the night moisturiser and I am still finding it a bit too strong but it is not as thick. After applying the L'Oréal Age Perfect Repairing Serum first I put the moisturiser on then waited a few minutes before applying my primer and mineral foundation. I found I did have to rub the moisturiser in quite a bit but it feels really nice on my skin and quite hydrating. After using all 3 products for this trial over the last couple of weeks my skin most definitely feels more hydrated and supple.

As part of the L'Oréal Age Perfect Intense Nutrition range I was lucky enough to try the Rich Repairing Balm for night. The cream comes in a mostly gold packaged cardboard box that outlines the origin and benefits of Manuka honey and calcium B5. On the front it says that this night cream is both Anti-sagging and Anti-crinkle for mature and dry skin. The jar is a generous 50gm in size with pretty gold and smoked glass colours with a screw top lid and the retail price is pretty good at $36.95. This night cream was something that I was very much looking forward to trying and I opened the lid and found the fragrance once again a bit overpowering but not as much as the serum. The cream consistency is very thick but easy to apply and I liked how it felt on my skin and thought it a perfect night time moisturiser. In the morning my skin most definitely felt very hydrated and quite supple but I did use it with the serum and I think together these are a great team.

I received the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intensive Re-nourish Extraordinary Repairing Serum as part of a trial, thank you BH. This serum is packaged in gold coloured packaging that states Anti-sagging, smoothing. It has Manuka honey extract and calcium B and on the back has a paragraph each of scientific discovery of both the Manuka honey and the calcium B5 stating their benefits and that Manuka honey originated in New Zealand. The actual bottle that the serum is in looks very sleek and quite classy, the top part and the pump are gold the bottle is a smokey glass colour with gold writing on the front label and a clear lid on the top of the pump. I was very excited to be trying this as I really like the benefits of Manuka honey and I was looking forward to smelling this and seeing how it felt on my skin. I opened the bottle and pressed on the pump which works well but I found the scent so over powering in fragrance and I was very disappointed that this was the case. The serum itself is a lovely consistency, not too thick and not too runny and spread over my skin beautifully and felt really hydrating and silky. After using this in combination with the night and day cream I have noticed a definite difference in my skin, feels more hydrated and a bit firmer. It is at a good price point of $36.95 for a 30ml size.

This brush set is part of the Nude By Nature trial that I have been a part of, thank you BH these products are fantastic. The Essential Collection Brush Set comes in white cardboard packaging and has a picture of the set on the front. On the back there is an image of each of the 7 brushes and a description of what each one is and what it is used for. Inside this packing is a black wallet with a rose gold zipper in which the brushes are all sitting in black elastic holders. This makes this an easy set to throw in a bag and take anywhere with you as the brushes are fully protected. Each brush has a black handle with the type of brush it is written on it, rose gold centre, and lovely soft bristles on the end. The kabuki brush is lovely and soft but I personally like the handles a bit bigger than this one. The powder brush is perfect for blush for me, the concealer brush is good, the lip brush is spot on and the 3 eye brushes all work well with my eye shadows. These Nude By Nature brushes are made from high quality synthetic fibres and that is perfect for me as I like natural products as much as possible. This is a great set for anyone to use and the price point is great value for 7 brushes.
