Super easy to find in your handbag because of the colour. I love the dark berry-red dewy look of this lip balm. It has a delicious berry scent but you're not left with a fake strong sweet taste on your lips like some other brands. It glides on smoothly and leaves glistening lips hydrated for a couple of hours. It is lightly pigmented and the colour will come off on water bottles, white tops and on the insides of face masks. You can apply a little, allow to absorb and add your fav lipstick over the top or just keep applying this one in between water bottle sips. It is slightly buildable but too much and it rubs off on your teeth just like lipstick.

I have the 75 ml heavy glass tub of this mask. Although the lid is hard plastic, I love that the glass can be recycled. The gorgeous scent of roses is what hits you first when you open the lid. The tub is a dark brown so you can't see the orange-light brown gel mask inside. There are small chunks of rose petals in the gel. I use a brush to apply a little to my face, avoiding the lip and eye area. Allow time to absorb into the skin for 5 - 10 mins or until you feel a very gentle tingle, then gently wipe off with a damp face cloth. My sensitive skin feels so fresh, soft and dewy after using this mask. Use on the backs of your hands as well for a great hand rejuvenator. Rinse off with water. Mine has lasted 18 months so far, with enough for a couple more mask applications left in the jar. I may use it once or twice a month, alternating with other masks for different purposes.

I received this product at the recent Glosscars event. I was excited by the way they were able to match my skin tone perfectly with a foundation, even in lighting that was 'interesting'. The Estee Lauder guy did well! It comes in a 30 ml dark metallic blue cardboard box with gold highlights and writing. Inside is a frosted bottle with a screw cap lid. I got the pale almond shade. The foundation is very runny, but that's okay because I can apply it with my fingertips or a sponge with ease. I haven't tried a brush yet. I prime my skin first, then apply either a non-redness base coat, then this foundation, or I apply a primer and jump straight to this foundation. Either way, it is light coverage which is great for me, it doesn't irritate my skin and it doesn't dry my skin out. It applies evenly and consistently. No dry spots or flakiness. There is an 'aqua' kind of a smell but it's not noticeable when you're applying in small amounts.

I received this lipstick at the Glosscars event last Saturday. I chose the cranberry shade. It's a red/brown shade that goes really well with my brunette hair and skin tone. It comes in a black cardboard box with white writing, which has an ingredients list, and says it's made in the USA. The lipstick comes in a heavy-ish black matte tube with a pull off lid. A fairly similar shade to the lipstick wraps around the middle of the tube, so you can see what colour the lipstick is without having to pull the lid off. It seems to last me about 4 hours before I need to reapply. When I'm performing I need something to last me through set up, rehearsals and a performance - so 6 - 8 hours preferably as there's no time for me to re-apply. I have also noticed that it's not a thick lipstick i.e. it doesn't apply thickly on the lips, and it isn't a sticky gloss either. But it's not matte. It's somewhere in the middle, but feels hydrating and nourishing. It's great for everyday wear when you are able to re-apply.

I got this shampoo in a Beautorium a little while back, and forgot that I had it in my cupboard. So I tried it out, and regretted that I hadn't been keeping a lookout for it in the shops The biggest downside for me was that I sliced my thumb on the lid, because although the bottle is easy to open when it's dry, it's an absolute pain when it's wet The upside is that my hair was less frizzy, and it felt a little stronger. My hair is long and shiny and healthy, but prone to frizz and can break. This shampoo is a pearly apricot-light rose gold colour (just like the bottle but lighter), and although I prefer fruity scents, this shampoo has more of a salon professional scent to it. Not unpleasant, but not a scent I would deliberately choose It's a shame I couldn't try it with the conditioner, but it's a good shampoo. You only need a little bit of the shampoo, because it lathers up beautifully. I completely finished the bottle and didn't have any reactions to my scalp. Just healthy looking, frizz free hair.

I purchased this amazing scented body sorbet for $14.00 on sale at The Body Shop. The funny thing was that I thought it was a shower gel, and purchased it for the scent I absolutely adore fruity scents, and this one blew me away. It's a VERY strong clementine/satsuma scent, so if you don't like strong scents, this one is definitely not for you. But I would eat it if I could. It smells just the way an orange sorbet tastes Or, as I just realised as I'm typing this, it smells the way an Aldi Orange flavoured Joystixx tastes It comes in a squeezy 200ml slightly frosted tube The sorbet is really difficult to describe. I've never experienced anything like it. It isn't a cream, it isn't a gel, it isn't a paste. I found it to be very smooth to apply to my entire body (excluding my face and neck). I didn't notice any graininess in the sorbet. I did notice that as the sorbet absorbs into my skin, it does feel like there's a tiny bit of friction happening with the skin but it isn't an unpleasant feeling It absorbs really well, leaving the skin feeling moisturised and hydrated all day I did find that on my thighs and tummy in particular - you know that feeling after you have done an intense workout, and you have sweated profusely and it sticks to you, but you don't feel sticky? That's kind of what this feels like for up to an hour after applying, but isn't unpleasant like sweat. It 's such a difficult product to describe but it's such a pleasure to use The scent is strong on the body for the first hour, and then it fades. 12 hours later the scent is not noticeable, but my skin is still hydrated and soft I have dry, sensitive skin but haven't noticed any issues with this product. I have been using it for about 4 weeks now, and I only need half a palmful to cover an entire leg I also love that the ingredients are listed on the back of the packaging. It is made in the UK It's definitely a product I would purchase again.

I purchased this product on a whim at the body shop, as I adore the scent of roses It is a gel body scrub, and comes in a black plastic tub with a twist top lid I wanted something to use in the shower. There are no instructions or hints on how to use this product on the packaging. When I tried a different product charcoal product at The Body Shop, this was used in addition to lots of water to remove the charcoal from my hand so I figured it was okay to use in the shower The Body Shop website says this on how to use: "Apply onto damp skin in a circular motion, then rinse thoroughly. For best results use 2-3 times a week. To make skin feel even more petal-soft, use British Rose Instant Glow Body Essence or British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter onto towel-dried skin." I usually use a shower puff with my shower gels and scrubs, so this product was quite difficult from the get go. The first dilemma was trying to figure out how to get the product out of the tub, and on to the shower puff. I ended up having to unscrew the lid, put that down, tilt the tub sideways and pour some of the gel out onto my shower puff, hold the shower puff carefully so that the product didn't fall off that while I put the lid back on the tub, trying to avoid getting water from the shower into the tub It was quite an acrobatic stunt, I can tell you The gel itself feels nice in the hands, albeit cold. There are little bits of brown rose petals in the gel, (which is a pretty light pinkish with a hint of brown but clear colour). There are tiny bits of ground walnut shells in the gel as well which help with exfoliation I also tried using this product by applying it with my hand, but the ground walnuts are too harsh on my hands to scrub on my body. I also tried a hand mitt, but I didn't like that either. The gel sticks to the hand mitt and not to my body I used this product a couple of times a week, and the tub has lasted me about 6 weeks I felt it was quite drying on my skin, and had to use a good body moisturiser. My skin is sensitive and dry normally, and the ground up walnuts were quite harsh. I definitely would not have wanted to use this as a body scrub without lots of water I don't think I'd purchase this product again. It isn't the right one for me, although I do love the scent.

You know how it is. You walk in to The Body Shop with the intention of purchasing one product, and you find yourself walking out with at least a few more That's how I ended up with the Strawberry Hand Cream. It comes in a pliable pink and silver squeezy tube with a twist cap lid (like toothpaste, but the lid is easier to open) The description on the back says "Hand Cream. Unfit for consumption. (DOH!) Keep out of reach of children". It says that in about 20 different languages Then there is an ingredients list on the back of the tube, which you can also see on The Body Shop's website - they have the full ingredients list there too which is great. I think this hand cream smells like the best strawberry mousse I've ever eaten. If you are not keen on a strong fragrance, this hand cream is not for you. The scent does linger. I did have my toddler lick my hand and exclaim "It's yummy". I *may* then have licked my hand too, for research purposes of course, and disappointingly there isn't a taste to match the scent, but there isn't a bad taste either. I squeeze a little bit of product on to the back of each of my hands and massage in a few times a day as my hands get dry in winter. I haven't noticed any greasiness or stickiness lingering on my skin. Just a delicious strawberry scent. My hands are soft too. My one concern is that it doesn't hydrate enough between my fingers, but they do get really bad in the middle of winter. I just keep applying hand cream to reduce the dryness/almost eczema-like skin between my fingers. The rest of my hands are beautifully hydrated Being a violin teacher, and having to adjust fine tuners on student's violins right under noses, I have had students comment on the scent of my hands - which is a good thing!

I purchased this little beauty in the recent Beautorium. I have tried a couple of eye primers, but wasn't happy with them This little 10ml tube fits perfectly in your make up bag, fits snuggly in the palm of your hand and is made in Australia! Ingredients list (on the side of the box):
Aqua, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl olivate, glycine soja (soybean) oil, lanolin, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, cera alba (beeswax), magnesium aluminium silicate, sodium hydroxide, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, centipede cunninghamII extract, terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu plum) seed oil, carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) seed oil, citric acid The back of the box says this perfecting eye primer "Smooths skin an creates an even base for eye make-up application. The untinted formula blends seamlessly into the skin and dries on invisibly. It helps tighten the skin in the eye area and smooth the appearance of wrinkles while helping to extend eye make-up wear". I definitely found that it smoothed my skin, made it easy to apply eye make-up, and my make up lasted longer I put a tiny bit on my ring finger, and dab it gently all around my eye area. If you smell the cream, it has a very light plum, oaty scent to it but you only need such a small amount of cream that you can't smell it on your face. I have sensitive, dry skin and haven't had a reaction to this product It absorbs instantly around the eye area, and the skin feels and looks so much smoother and softer. The cream isn't tinted either, and when I have forgotten to apply it before my foundation (some times it's a rush when a toddler is extremely demanding), and have applied it afterwards, it doesn't affect the foundation on my face much at all. I do have to blend a bit more. So I recommend applying it before foundation :P I love the small tip that lets the cream come out. It means you don't have hardened cream coming out once it dries Definitely a product I recommend and will be purchasing in the future.

I received this brush in my Glosscar winners box from 2016 (I know, I'm a bit behind). I had to wait until I bought a Body Shop body mask to use it with So now that I have a clay body mask, I can say that this brush is so gentle You squirt out the body mask from it's tube on to the brush, and brush/paint it on your body. The brush is able to be controlled quite well i.e. you can apply a thick or a thin layer of the mask on your body, depending on what you feel is best. Either way, the brush applies it evenly Very easy to wash - just rinse off the mask, and wash with a little soapy water. Squeeze out the water, shake it off gently and leave to air dry. Once the brush is dry, it still stays soft The Body Shop I visited said you could also use this brush on your face. They have smaller ones for their face mask range. You could also use the face ones on your body, as they're made the same, just different sizes. Good to know! I love the wooden handle and the weight of it. It seems to be a well made, balanced brush. I haven't had any bristles come off either. Apparently the wood is Elm and the bristles are synthetic - so cruelty free Great if you want to avoid getting the body mask on your fingers or hands (the charcoal mask is interesting to get off). It also feels very luxurious applying a body mask with a brush.
