I received this product as part of Beautyheaven's Natural Beauty Month event & although my cabinet is groaning with serums at present (there's only so much face I have!), I was still keen to try this as I'd liked the light scent of it when I smelt it at the event. One thing I have noticed upon application is that it gives a tightening effect to the face and neck, which I don't mind as I know that it means this gorgeous serum is doing the trick. As mentioned, it also smells nice too - kind of a light floral-ish scent. One pump is all I need for my face and neck and although it does take a while to sink in, I again don't mind as it means my skin is soaking up all that hydrating plumping goodness. I've been using this almost every night for a bit over a week now and even in that short amount of time, I have noticed that my almost-39 year old, sensitive-combination skin appears to be a bit more hydrated, a little firmer in terms of my fine lines (which I have on my forehead) and the rosacea spots & redness that I am prone to have lessened. Even my cheeks don't appear as crinkly when I smile! My skin also feels softer in the morning as well. I'll also note for all my fellow sensitive skin babes that this hasn't irritated my skin one bit, which is a relief given how fussy my skin is overall. I have started to see the signs of ageing during my 30's (particularly after the ages of 33-35) and although I like to think my skin is in pretty good shape for my age, I can't deny that I could do with a hit of plumping and this serum appears to be doing that. I do think time will tell as to whether it can work miracles (hence the 4 star rating), but so far, so good. I feel like this could be an actual purchase for me somewhere down the line and may even replace a bunch of other more expensive serums I have opened in my stash.

I received this as part of Beautyheaven's Natural Beauty Month event & tbh, I wasn't sure at first if I would try this as it does contain some ingredients that are known irritators for me (the citrus oils + alcohol denat). In the end, I gave it a whirl purely on a whim, to see whether or not it would (a) irritate me (thankfully, it didn't) and (b) get rid of the garlic smell from my fingernails courtesy of marinating lamb cutlets in garlic & rosemary. (SPOILER ALERT: it didn't quite do the job.) The first 2 times I used this, I admit I used it incorrectly. The bottle states that you need to "apply one pump to hands, moisten with water and lather for at least 20 seconds" before rinsing well. I didn't do that, instead lathering in my hands without moistening with water & then rinsing off, all the while wondering why my hands felt like the Sahara afterwards. The 3rd time I used it I followed the instructions to the letter, and although they felt a bit better afterwards, my hands still felt slightly drier than they normally would, causing me to pop some hand cream on post-wash. All of that aside, the scent of this is kind of up my alley: citrus, with a strong hit of herbal/spicy from the rosemary leaf & clove bud oils. I don't mind it; it's certainly a pleasant scent. Will this replace my usual hand wash from Glow Lab? No, definitely not. Will I continue using this every now & again? Maybe, if only to get rid of it.

I received this product courtesy of the recent BH Natural Beauty Month event at their HQ & although I'd had a not-so-great experience with one of their products before (their face oil, whose name escapes me), I was happy to try this out. The first thing I noticed about this was the light lemongrass scent, which I am a fan of as I adore citrus scents (lemongrass is a particular favourite of mine). I also noticed upon opening that it contains poppy seeds, which is a bit weird IMO but I'm guessing they're there to provide some sort of exfoliation? I can feel them when I use this soap, but tbh they make the soap feel kinda bumpy, tbh. I question their purpose in this soap, as well as the claims that the soap is safe for use on the face (I personally wouldn't as I have products that are best suited for that purpose, like facial cleansers, but you do you). Other than that, I haven't noticed anything major, other than it doesn't feel drying on my skin when compared to traditional soaps, so that's a bonus. Would I consider buying a bar for myself in the future? Probably not, especially when I also use body wash, but I'm still happy to have tried this product.

I bought this on sale & had high hopes that it would have amazing scent throw as the scent itself was right up my alley. Unfortunately, the scent was somewhat insipid in terms of strength & I could barely smell it every time I burnt it. I also found it difficult to detect just how far I'd burnt it as the white ceramic jar combined with the dark blue colour of the wax meant that I couldn't see into the jar like I would with other Glasshouse candles. I also found it didn't burn very well, but that's soy wax for you, in my experience. I know this was a limited edition, but if it weren't, I wouldn't repurchase as I like to truly smell my candles when they're burning.

I've had this candle sitting around for a while, but I'm currently burning it (at the time of typing this review) and man it is DELICIOUS! So much so that I want to eat it every time I light it up (although I know that's not a great idea). To my nose, the waffle cone notes are very pronounced, with hints of vanilla & popcorn coming through. The scent throw for me has been quite good, which I know has been an issue for Glasshouse ever since they moved from paraffin to soy wax. I have a large bedroom and I can smell this from down the hallway & the scent even lingers in my room the next morning. The only qualm I have (and the reason why I can't give this the full 5 stars) is that it hasn't burnt evenly all the way down, which is a common problem I've discovered with soy-based candles. I've neither smelt nor burnt a candle quite like this before & this scent definitely satisfies my gourmand-loving heart. SO happy that Glasshouse have now made this a permanent staple in their collection as I'll definitely repurchase this once my current jar runs out.

I received this product at the recent Glosscars event held at BH HQ, but held off on using it for the first time until the weather became a little cooler as I feared the richer formula wouldn't be suitable for my skin in warmer times (for reference, I have combination-sensitive skin). Unfortunately for me, whilst this cream is light & I have felt a difference in my skin even after one use (it feels pretty soft), I just CAN NOT deal with the scent. It smells VERY old-fashioned, like "pancake" makeup from the 1960's (or at least that's how my mum described it when I let her sniff it). The scent also lingers on the skin for a fair while after application, which is irksome, especially as it's not a pleasant scent IMO. I will give it props for not irritating my skin though. I'll also mention that the jar itself is quite weighty, so definitely decant some into a travel pot if you wish to take it away with you as this will definitely add to the kgs. I really wish I could get past my issue with the scent as it is a nice enough moisturiser, but I know I can't, so will be passing this on to my aforementioned mother to use (even though she's not overly fussed on the scent either).

I received this at the recent BH Glosscars event & whilst tinted lip balms are not my bag (if I'm wearing makeup, I prefer to reach for a lipstick over a tint), I was determined to try this out anyway. I chose the colour Watermelon Rush, which against my (already fairly pigmented) lips comes across as a pinky-red flush. It gives off that kind of "just-been-kissed" kind of look IMO & is the perfect match for my colouring (pale skin, dark-ish hair, blue eyes). It is also nicely glossy against my lips, which I love as I prefer glossy over matte in general. It also smells like its namesake fruit, albeit a bit artificial for my liking (despite the claims that this is "100% natural origin"). However, that's where the positives end. I found upon first application that my lips got a bit irritated from the scent, although that has calmed down with further usage. I've also found that it is a bit drying on its own, so I've layered it with my usual Lanolips lip balm for extra moisture. (Although granted, my lips are like the Sahara at the best of times). I'm also not a fan of the rounded applicator & would prefer the one that Lanolips has, just for ease of application (so I don't get tint outside of my lip lines) & so my fingers & nails don't end up with tinted lip balm in them (although it does wash away easily). I also don't feel that the tint lasts all that long either. Whilst I will likely keep it in my stash for the time being, I can't see myself reaching for this when I have other products I prefer to use, sadly.

I received this along with the matching body lotion at BH's Natural Beauty Month event last August & waited until the warmer months to use it as that is when I largely use body wash in order to remove sunscreen & sweat. I'll be honest & say that I'm not entirely sure where I sit with this product. Sure, it smells nice (albeit quite subtle) & it kinda worked at times, but compared even with other non-sulphate body washes that I use, this doesn't lather much at all & I found I had to double cleanse in order to remove my sunscreen at the end of the day. I understand that the idea of non-sulphate products is to not offer that foamy feeling, however, I've experienced better results with my other non-sulphate body washes compared to this. I will give etch & ethos props for using sustainable packaging & mostly natural ingredients though. Overall, I'm torn as to whether I'd give this another go or not. Maybe I will, simply because I like using the matching body lotion & also like the idea of the 1kg refill pack to fill up my (now empty) bottle of this, but on the other hand why use something that doesn't quite do the job? That's something for future me to determine.

I received this along with the matching body wash at BH's Natural Beauty Month event last year & waited until the warmer months to try it out as I felt that my skin would enjoy it more then than in late winter and spring....and I was correct. This is probably the lightest body lotion I've ever tried, making it PERFECT for use during hot summer days & nights. It also absorbs into the skin in no time whatsoever. Despite how lightweight it is, my skin neither felt dry nor dehydrated post-use, which was great. The light & semi-fruity floral scent of this was also nice & fairly subtle, although at first my skin didn't really like it & threw a small hissy fit. (I.E. it gave me a bit of eczema, so I alternated between this and another non-scented body lotion to give my skin time to get used to it. Thankfully for me, it eventually did.) One thing I also like about it is that the bottles are refillable - you just need to buy the 1kg refill pack & you'll have enough to tide you over for a while. The packaging is also made from recycled milk bottles, making it sustainable (if you're interested in that kind of thing). All in all, I'm pretty happy with this body lotion & would consider parting with my own money to purchase the refill pack to fill my now (empty) bottle for later use.

Full disclosure: I've never been a Sukin fan. Despite trying numerous products from them over the years, I've only ever found 1 product that suited my needs & did the job (their Blemish Control Spot Banishing Gel, which I was fortunate to receive at a previous BH event years ago). Now I can add this body lotion to my list. Having used this multiple times now, I've found it to be hydrating but neither heavy nor greasy on my skin, which is important even with the hotter "autumn" days we've experienced recently. Whether this would work for me in winter or not is another matter, but so far so good. My skin has felt smooth & soft after use (typically post-shower or bath) & I haven't felt irritated by any of the ingredients in this, which is an absolute win for me & my increasingly fussy sensitive skin. It has also been easy to apply without dragging or tugging against my skin either & it has absorbed quickly no matter how much I've applied (and I tend to go ham with body lotion). At first I thought this might've left a bit of a powdery film on my skin post-application, but that feeling seems to have disappeared with further use. Overall I'm quite happy with this body lotion & would consider purchasing it once I'm finished; thank you BH for inviting me to the Glosscars event so that I could try it!
