The Neutrogena Visible Repair Night Moisturiser comes in a lovely silver 30ml ceramic pump bottle and looks like a premium product. It is easy to pump the recommended pearl-sized amount which you gently massage into the skin. It absorbs well and has a light scent which is not unpleasant, however I would have preferred it to be fragrance free. As I have not used retinol products before I started using it every second day for the first week and there after daily. After 2 weeks I have developed some skin flaking on and around the nose and have felt some occasional tingling. I am hoping that this will settle as my skin gets used to it. I have not noticed any visible reduction in fine lines or wrinkles. At this stage I am not sure if this product suits my skin.

Many thanks to Beautyheaven for allowing me to be part of this trial. The E45 Face Moisturiser really impressed me with the great results I achieved after using it for just over 2 weeks. It has rapidly reduced skin flakiness and dryness leaving my skin soft, supple and glowing. It comes in a fairly plain looking plastic 50ml tube with a pop-up lid and is very economical as you only need a small amount. I found the cream non greasy and a good consistency that absorbed well lasting all day. It is a great base under make-up. Some of its nourishing ingredients include shea butter, jojoba oil and sweet almond oil.

Many thanks to Beautyheaven for allowing me to be part of this trial. The E45 Face Foaming Cleanser comes in an economical 150 ml plastic pump bottle. To use give the bottle a shake and then dispense one pump to cleanse face. I detected no fragrance and the light cleansing foam worked well and removed make-up and grime . It does not sting if you get some in your eyes. My sensitive skin was left feeling clean,fresh and soft. I did not experience any skin tightness or dried out feeling as with some other cleansers. I had no skin irritation.

I have sensitive skin and have used some of La Roche-Posay's products in the past, and so, was very pleased to have the opportunity to trial the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5 serum for dry, sensitive skin. The main ingredient being 10% vitamin B5 to help with skin renewal. The product helps to correct dryness, redness and discomfort, all of which I can attest to. Since using this fast absorbing non-sticky gel serum the patches of scaly skin on my nose and cheeks have disappeared and the discomfort of tight skin has also vanished. Results were noticeable after just a few days. After 3 weeks of use my skin feels lovely and hydrated with a much more even looking skin tone. I do feel that my skin is repairing and benefitting from continual use. The serum comes in a 30ml white glass bottle with a glass dropper. I do have a bit of an issue with the dropper finding that it does not fill properly or dispense the serum with ease. Would love to see this rectified in the future. Apply morning and evening .

I was thrilled to receive The Omnilux Contour Mask in the BH Discovery bag . It is a flexible, portable silicone contour mask device with easy to use velcro head straps.It comes with a rechargeable controller and a user guide. Using visible red and near infrared lights which are absorbed into the skin to reduce inflamation, pigmentation and redness it stimulates new collagen and elastin production. This results in firmer, plumper and more youthful looking skin. To use: thoroughly cleanse your skin before attaching the mask. It has a timer that automatically switches off after 10 minutes. Clean the mask with a damp wet cloth. I have been using the mask 3-4 times per week for a month and have noticed firmer and brighter looking skin but as yet no noticeable change to any pigmentation or redness. I am hoping that prolonged use will bring better results.

I was lucky to receive the Revlon Intense White teeth whitening duo in my BH Discovery Bag. The pack contained upper and lower front teeth whitening strips for 14 days as well as a whitening pen for touch ups. It also came with a small colour chart to check the before and after colour of your teeth. Both products were quite simple to use. Teeth needed to be dried before using either product. The clear strips adhered well to the dry teeth and needed to stay on for 30 minutes, followed by rinsing your mouth of any remaining gel. I used the strips for 14 consecutive days as per directions and was pleasantly surprised that my teeth whitened by a couple of shades. This is quite a gentle product and only contains about 6% hydrogen peroxide while whitening done by a dentist uses much more. I very happy with this result for such and affordable product.

The Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm comes in a 30 g plastic jar and is a solid oil . It contains hemp seed oil as well as a number of other oils and natural ingredients. It has a light pleasant menthol/pepperminty fragrance. It can be used to soothe skin irritations , to relieve tired and stressed skin or to moisturise and hydrate. I found the balm perfect to use on patches of dermatitis that flare up regularly. Application is easy as the solid balm softens and 'melts' from the warmth of my fingertips and is then simply rubbed onto the affected area. A little goes a long way. With regular use the dermatitis has cleared.

The PB SKN GLOW Gleam-Giver 30ml serum comes in a plain and simple plastic pump dispenser that fits comfortably in your hand and is perfect for on the go. It contains plant extracts and Lactibacillus Probiotic to help lighten pigmentation and even skin tone and reduce redness. Dispense 1 pump and apply to damp face after cleansing and before moisturising. Use morning and night. After 1 month of use, twice a day, I am yet to see any change in my facial pigmentation, uneven skin tone or a reduction in redness. However I love the lightness of the serum, which has no discernible scent and, which has caused no irritation to my sensitive skin. Will continue to use product and hope to see better results with longer use. This product is Australian Made. Cruelty free. Vegan friendly Made with natural ingredients.

Thanks BH for the opportunity to trial the Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash. Containing 1/4 moisturising cream that is plant based, and other naturally derived cleansers, the creamy coloured body wash pumped easily out of the large family friendly ,sturdy 1 litre bottle. I was happy to note that it does not contain any sulfates ,SLES or parabens. I found that the liquid pumped easily and provided a light creamy lather. As per directions 1 pump was enough. I love the fresh clean scent. My skin felt hydrated, soft and nourished.It was mild and gentle enough for my sensitive skin. A great body wash suitable for the whole family. There is also a lot of helpful information on the back of the bottle which is made from 70% recycled plastic. Dove is Cruelty-Free and does not test on animals. Also better for the environment is that they now make a 1.5 Litre Refill Pouch. It is made in Australia.

For me Aveeno is a 'trusted brand' so I was thrilled to be invited to trial the Intense Relief Hand cream.It comes in a easy to dispense 100g plastic tube with a flip-top lid. It has the faintest fragrance similar to Aveeno's Skin Relief moisturising lotion and their Skin Relief body wash and also is formulated with natural oatmeal and other rich moisturising ingredients. The cream feels slightly oily on application but absorbs well and does not leave a greasy residue. Did wonders for my hands and cuticles leaving them soft,smooth and hydrated. The cream also works well on dry elbows,knees and feet. It claims to keep hands moisturised for 24 hours even after washing your hands. I'm not sure about this and prefer to re-apply the cream after washing hands and doing housework. It is also dermatologist recommended.
