I'm a huge Carmex lover and it's my favourite brand of lip balm but let me tell you, the click sticks and the ones that come in the tubes are a completely different formula! So if you've only tried the tube ones, and found them too artificial tasting or glossy, do yourself a favour and try the click sticks instead. The strawberry one is very mildly scented in comparison to this and I usually alternate between the strawberry or original one. Unfortunately there's always new flavours coming out in the tubes (like the 3 pack minis!) but not the click sticks. So unfair as I love new flavours and would literally buy them all like in the US! I really wish Carmex would listen to their customers and create more flavoured click sticks!!! They're so much better at protecting lips, don't smear, have more uses, and I'm just not really not a fan of the tubes glossy consistency. If I wanted a gloss I'd use a gloss but I want a balm.

I already have the 3 pack of these minis with "strawberry", "cherry" and "pinemint" which I absolutely love so when I found these I absolutely had to buy them! I've only tried "cupcake" in the clickstick and loved the sweet vanilla flavour. "Wildberry" and "Tropical" are delicious too and perfect for summer especially with the SPF 15. These are much more glossy than the clicksticks and perfect for wearing on their own or putting over matte or drying lipsticks. They make a great Christmas stocking gift too or just a nice gift for all Carmex fans and shared with friends! They honestly last quite a long time too 💋

I absolutely love serums so I was very excited to trial the new Neutrogena Hydro Boost Niacinamide Serum. Especially since I'm a fan of the entire range and love the Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser. I have oily skin prone to clogged pores especially during the hot and humid weather here, so I have to make sure I keep my skin well cleansed and free of heavy products. This serum comes in a plain white bottle with a dropper applicator. I kind of wished the bottle was blue to match the box and rest of this range though. It claims to target uneven skin tone, dullness, dark marks, and oily skin. All of which I'm prone to. Plus minimize the look of pores for smoother, clearer skin. I liked that they added Hyaluronic Acid so it's also great for dry or dehydrated skin. The instructions say to apply a pearl-sized amount twice daily to cleansed face and neck. Allow to fully absorb and apply moisturiser as needed. I found I only needed two drops to cover my whole face after cleansing and let it absorb before applying other serums and moisturiser. If you over apply, it feels a bit sticky and annoying especially for oily skin types. The serum itself is a clear liquid and fluid texture, very easy to apply, and absorbs quickly too. This is a definite plus as I could apply the rest of my skincare and makeup without waiting for it to sink in. Afterwards I'd follow with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser in the evenings, plus sunscreen during the day. My skin type can tolerate quite a bit of actives, so I had no issues with it containing 10% Niacinamide. It also played well with other serums and moisturisers I tried in my routine. This serum definitely left my skin looking and feeling hydrated and brightened in conjuction with my other products and was easy to incorporate into both day and night routines. My pores were also visibly reduced and it cleared up my complexion. It basically lived up to it's promises, though I'm not sure how much of a difference 10% Niacinamide has made in just 2 weeks in regards to uneven skin tone and dark marks. Some people may require a stronger product for targeting those issues depending on how severe they are. My skin looks clearer and feels glowy, more plump, and definitely less dull. I've tried another brand of 10% Niacinamide serum but it had a strong and off-putting scent, so I'm glad that this one is fragrance free. I'll definitely continue to use this serum as part of my skincare routine and I'm happy to say that I had no bad reactions to it at all either.

I wear a lot of blacks and dark colours, and can't stand the white powder left on them after using most spray antiperspirants. I accidentally came this deodorant at a pharmacy because I was running out of my usual roll-on. I also like to just spray something fresh on if I'm out doing errands, and it's hot and humid. This antiperspirant comes in a decent size can, very affordable, and is easy to press down to dispense the right amount. I love the scent as it's just fresh like it says, without being overwhelming. Especially important on hot days, or when you're unable to have a daily shower, throw in your gym bag too. The antibacterial action is a huge plus also. I've used a few other deodorants from the Nivea Black & White Invisible range, but found they still left marks. I was very pleasantly surprised by this one as it actually does what it claims. I used to use the fresh Garnier antiperspirant deodorants before they disappeared, so I'm very happy to have found this as my new replacement. No white marks, fresh scent, and a must have for summer!

I have fine hair which is very prone to frizz and tangling if I don't use some kind of leave in product after shampooing and conditioning. I love hair oils and have tried so many brands throughout the years, but most of them were sticky, and left a heavy residue on my hair, not to mention my hands which I had to scrub and scrub just to get off! This oil is a dream and I'll never go back to another one. It's oily however it actually sinks into the hair rather than just sitting on top looking and feeling greasy. The pump is easy to use and I normally just require one pump for my hair. I apply it to damp hair after washing and really rub it in, then comb it through with a detangling comb. Wow! My usually knotty hair is super silky smooth after and so easy to comb! I had terrible dry, split ends, but after using this you can't even notice them. Once dry, my hair is so silky smooth, shiny, and protected as a bonus. I normally just braid my hair at night and sleep in it as a protective hairstyle due to my very long hair. When I undo it in the mornings, it stays perfectly silky and smooth. Great for creating naturally wavy hair. I tried it with heat too, as I normally let my hair air dry, I used the Remington hair dryer I was gifted to trial, and zero frizz or knots after brushing it out. I love the scent and not sure why others think it smells like a men's deodorant, even if so, it tends to fade away after a while anything. Love, love, love this hair oil and highly recommend trying it. Very intrigued by the entire L'Oreal Metal Detox range now. I tried a sample of the shampoo and loved it too. Great job L'Oreal! They've really come a long way with their haircare. Very professional and well priced, I'd expect from really expensive salon brands.

I normally use the cream roll-ons but decided to give this one a try as it was on special at Coles. I've never used a gel antiperspirant so I was intrigued by this product. I absolutely HATE sweating in the QLD heat and humidity, and every other antiperspirant I've tried has left white marks on my clothes or just didn't work. I wear a lot of black so that's a must for me. This gel is designed to also be put on overnight as it forms a layer on your underarms protecting you from sweating the next day, until you wash it off. I normally apply a thin layer after a shower and let it dry under the aircon or a fan, before any sweating occurs. It definitely didn't leave any white marks on any of my black shirts. It has a pleasant shower fresh scent which isn't overwhelming. I still like to use a spray deodorant/antiperspirant occasionally over the top of it to freshen up if I've been running around in the hot weather all day. It's also pretty water resistant once dry making it ideal if going to the beach or pool. I'm definitely going to continue using it, and I think some of the negative reviews were from people who just didn't use it properly and follow the directions. Love the green packaging too and feels so refreshing on application.

I already have really long straight hair so I never have the need to use hair straighteners. However I like my hair curly or wavy because it adds volume and movement to my naturally boring straight hair. This styler comes with everything you need, but with my limited knowledge I did have to watch a few YouTube videos on how to use it first. I'm typically a huge fan of "heatless curls" though sometimes it's nice to wake up with straight hair and be able to style it for special occasions or going out. After a few go's I managed to work out how to curl my hair without burning myself or my hair, and am still looking into more hairstyles that I can achieve with this styler. I really liked that it had different heat settings as I always use the lowest one, and came with everything needed. A perfect gift for yourself or other women who love styling their hair using heat.

I'm single and don't have any men in my life so I can only review this body groomer from a female's point of view. Firstly I found it extremely lightweight and easy to hold. It was already charged up and ready to go upon opening the box. It comes with a USB charger and charges up extremely fast. I imagine this would make a great hair clipper for men as there's no power cord to get in the way of hair cutting. It comes with so many attachments that I found confusing because I'm not knowledgeable about men's hair groomers but I'm sure would make perfect sense to a man who clips or shaves his head. The only attachment I tried on myself was the shaver one. It quickly shaved off my arm hairs which I'm normally to tired to deal with in the shower. I did try it on my legs too, though I prefer a closer shave with a handheld razor when I do shave, though I mainly use an epilator. I'd love to know if this groomer was okay for trimming the bikini area but it said nothing in the instructions about that so I was a bit hesitant to test it out on my delicate lady parts! With all the hair cutting and body shaving/hair removing attachments this would make an ideal gift for any man in your life.

I rarely have the time to fully dry & style my hair, and found this hair dryer good for when my hair is half dry, and I just need to finish drying it off. This hair dryer comes with several attachments but I found myself constantly using the same one best suited to my hair and needs. My hair is extremely long and fine, so I'm always very gentle with it. I personally found the diffuser attachment too big for me and confusing. The hair dryer itself is very powerful and comes with a decent cord, though it could be longer. It has 3 fan modes and my favourite the cool setting button, as I always avoid using too much heat on my fine hair. It's a bit too heavy for travel for such a small hair dryer though. The only real annoyance I had with this hair dryer, was that the back part where the filter sits is inbuilt and not detachable like my old one. Therefore making it impossible to clean the filter from all the lint, dust and debris it sucks in. I wouldn't personally pay $150 for this. It's a decent hair dryer but you can find a lot of cheaper brands and alternatives that do the exact same thing. I'll continue using it, however I'd recommend looking at other brands and types before purchasing a new one.

I'm a huge fan of serums so I applied for this trial. Unfortunately I've had issues with some La Roche-Posay serums in the past and this was no exception. I have oily-combination skin sometimes prone to some dry patches so thought this might help. This serum claims to have B5 and others as the hero ingredients. However it contained way too much dimethicone for my skin barrier to absorb it properly. The dimethicone definitely left my skin with a "silky" feeling however instead of absorbing it fully, it left my skin feeling tacky and started to pill and rub off so I wasn't able to layer other skincare or makeup on top of it. Unfortunately the other main ingredient is dimethicone which is a silicone. Silicone traps the moisture and sits on top of the skin. This is also what gives the serum that silky feeling. I used this serum for a few days but couldn't get over the tacky feeling, and even if I only used the tiniest amount, it would start pilling. It reminded me of a bad silicone primer and I can't tolerate those. The amount of primerdenatured alcohol and other harsh ingredients added to this serum concerned me also, especially for sensitive skin. The serum has an opaque color, no fragrance, and milky consistency. Unfortunately another big recommendation I have is to improve the packaging which I found I had a lot of issues with. I've had this same problem with the 2 other serums I've used in the past. It comes in a box but my box had opened and both the serum bottle and separate dropper had fallen out during transit. The serum comes with a lid onto it and the dropper sits separately inside of the box. I found this unhygienic and believe that at least the dropper should be in a sealed wrapper. The dropper was also far too wide making the product get stuck inside and made it almost impossible to use. I usually don't mind droppers but this one was particularly annoying to use. As I saw no improvements in my skin and had so many issues with the packaging, I would definitely not repurchase this serum and definitely not pay the full price as there are so many better serums on the market these days with more effective ingredients without the added silicones and alcohol. This serum seems better suited for those who have truly dry and sensitive skin but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone and use with caution.
