I always enjoy a fake tan, however the prep and general leaving it on for 6+ hours is quite a pain to be honest. Bondi Sands' express foam has made this process SO much easier. I will definitely be repurchasing this product and keep myself stocked up! Let me start with the basics. This product is easy to buy (Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, even Woolworths and Coles stock it!) and can always be found on sale, so you get great value for money too. Even if you apply liberally like me, you will get a good number of tans from a single can. The foam itself comes out easily, doesn't drip and make a mess when applying, and dries quickly. You can see where you've applied the product, so it's easy to ensure you don't miss any spots. Furthermore, I do not find this product to have a strong fake tan smell. Slight, yes, but I find that to be the case with every fake tanning product I've used. I normally do a few coats (3 or so) especially when leaving it on for only an hour. I prep (exfoliate like mad head to toe and shave) beforehand to ensure I get the best result. I also make sure my skin is free of any products before applying the tan. I leave the tan on for approx. 1 hour and have a quick shower to rinse it off (short shower, not scrubbing my skin or using any body washes). The tan appears medium straight out of the shower but keeps developing throughout the day - I notice a significant deepening of the shade by the next day. You will end up quite darker than the colour you see straight out of the shower. The colour is wonderful and lasts a approx. a week. It fades nicely too. I've seen others claim they don't get results from this product and I have no idea why. Perhaps better prep and a few extra coats would fix the issue. I've seen YouTube reviews where people apply the tiniest amount of product, whereas I'm generous with my application and get a beautiful tan with this approach. Considering how affordable this product is, I do not mind applying generously. The tan is a lovely bronze shade, looks natural and not orange. I've been complimented on the colour. I will continue to purchase this product and ensure I never run out. This product, as well as the Bondi Sands Aero 1 Hour Express, are my go-to fake tanning products at present. I won't go back to standard tanning products that need to be left on the skin for 6+ hours considering how much better and easier these express products are. Thank you to Bondi Sands for making fake tanning a lot easier!

When I saw I was selected for the trial team, I was quite excited as Nivea tends to make great body products. The name also had be intrigued as it sounded like it would smell beautiful. I haven't been let down by this product. The bottle comes with a pump, which is perfect and always a plus. At $9.99 for 400ml, it's good value for money. I can see this bottle lasting a while, even for those like me who apply a generous amount for extra soft skin. The lotion itself is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It is not sticky at all and leaves my skin super soft. I apply after a morning shower and am surprised how beautifully soft my skin is that night, after many hours. Skin is super smooth and feels lovely. I've gone up to my partner and asked him to feel how soft my legs are, thanks to this lotion haha! The scent is gorgeous and delicate. Smells very feminine and I do enjoy it. However, I wish it was stronger and lingered for longer. I do understand that's a personal preference and some may not want an overpowering scent. I'm a perfume lover though so not afraid of strong fragrances. Overall, this lotion did not let me down and makes me skin soft for hours. For such a lightweight lotion, it does an amazing job. This lotion would work for both Summer and Winter.

Liquid eyeliner isn't something I bother with too often. It's time consuming for me to get it right, and i'm always short on time in the mornings. I still prefer it over pencil as I've got super sensitive eyes that find most eye makeup irritating. This one gets 2 thumbs up from me - it makes applying a winged eyeliner a lot easier and less time consuming than i'm used to. As I don't use it more than 1-2 times a week, I don't like spending heaps on it (I've got plenty of other items that I use more often, so rather spend the big bucks elsewhere!). This eyeliner is easy to find and often on sale, so you can pick it up for $12 and under quite often. I thought it was worth trying at such an affordable price and it did not disappoint. It is super easy to use, even for those that aren't liquid eyeliner pros. It has a fine tip, so you can go slow and build up if you want a bolder look. The black shade is dark and opaque enough for me. I find it dries quickly also. This does not smudge on me, but I do not have oily skin so not sure how it would hold on on those with oilier skin. It lasts all day on me. Overall, great liquid eyeliner which is easy to use even for those that aren't confident. Cheap and easy to find so you can't go wrong.

Throughout the years I have struggled with dry nails that peel and break easily. Yeah, it sucks and growing them requires commitment alongside a nail strengthening product. Now there are quite a few products out there that protect nails with a strengthening coat which allows them to grow, with the original OPI Nail Envy being one of my favourites. However, I wanted a product that would make my nails look pretty AND strengthen them so I could grow them. It's hard to apply colour over a clear nail strengthener as it does not make a great base coat. This product solves that problem for me I saw the OPI Nail Envy Strength in Colour 'Bubble Bath' and knew I had to have it. I love the original OPI Nail Envy as it works, but I'm also a sucker for pale pink and nude shades. 'Bubble Bath' is a natural transparent pink shade which makes my nails look more feminine but also looks natural. It is not eye catching but rather a natural pink that goes with any outfit. It is not cheap and I did not check the price until I checked my receipt afterwards, but I'm glad to say it works so is worth the price tag The nail polish itself is easy to apply and dries fairly quickly. It requires 2-3 coats, depending on how much you wish to build up the colour. I usually go for 3 coats if I want a fair bit of colour and a more obvious pink shade. Just like the original OPI Nail Envy, this does a fantastic job of strengthening my nails which allows me to grow them longer. You do not need acrylics when you use this product consistently and diligently - it will protect your nails, prevent breakage and help you grow them longer. It is not easy for me to grow my nails as they peel and break easily, but I can achieve length using this product. It is a noticeable difference. As soon as I stop using this product, my nails go back to weak and it's MUCH harder to grow them long. This product does not fix your nails, but rather coats them to prevent breakage so they can grow. I would not agree that it transforms them, as you need to keep using this nail product consistently to maintain the results and length. However, that is expected. Overall, amazing nail strengthening product that comes in pretty shades too. It is worth the hefty price tag and will help those with weak nails grow them longer. It will need to be continuously used if you wish to keep the results, as nails simply go back to weak once you stop using this product. All in all, highly recommended and glad to see a nail strengthener that also provides colour. I would buy it in Samoan Sand also (my poor wallet). If you have weak nails that peel and break easily like mine, try this product immediately if you want to grow them in to long and beautiful nails. It does work.

I received the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Top Coat along with the nail polish to trial (thanks bh!). I'm a bit hard to impress and believe most top coats are the same - they act as a seal and keep your nail polish looking better for longer. I don't have a long list of requirements for a top coat - however, this product claims to provide nourishment and moisture. This product contains ingredients such as argan oil and evening primrose oil. I'm not used to seeing such ingredients in my nail products, but hey let's give it a go. I've got dry nails that tend to break easily so any extra nourishment is welcomed. I don't consider this aspect necessary as I have nail strengthening products I rely on for that. Moving on to the product itself now! Like the nail polish within this range, this product has a fairly thin consistency which I enjoy. It does not go on thick and the flat, broad brush allows it to be evenly applied on my nails. It adds extra shine to my nails and makes them look more shiny. It also dries quickly and that's always a requirement for me. I do not have the patience for nail products that dry slowly Overall, this is a good top coat that adds extra shine and generally makes my nails look better. It does help my seal in my nail polish which makes it last longer without chipping and showing signs of wear. I'm not sure how nourishing it is as I believe nails should be nourished from within, but I'm not concerned about that. I don't expect miracles, I simply appreciate the fact that this top coat makes my nails look healthier/shinier, makes my nail polish last longer and dries quickly.

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail Polish. I received it in the shade 'Aura'nt You Relaxed?' which is a bright coral red shade. It's not a shade I would usually go for as I'm more of a nudes and natural pinks person - however, it deserved a fair go and to be rated on the formula This nail polish comes in a sturdy glass bottle like most of the Sally Hansen range. It looks classy and can withstand being dropped without breaking. The brush is short, fairly flat and broad so it makes application a breeze. The product itself is of a thin consistency and dries quickly. I cannot do anything but quick drying nail polish. Nothing is worse than having to wait so long in between coats and then freaking out that you'll still smudge it an hour later or leave random imprints in your nails. The nail polish itself is opaque. It does not require coat after coat to build up the colour. My nails looked perfect after only 2 coats. The colour is bright and shiny too. Easy to apply, opaque and quick drying - no complaints here. Lasting power was good too. I would consider 5-6 days good and the usual. Anything less than that would be poor Overall, great nail polish. The shade '320 Aura’nt You Relaxed?' is a bit out there for me, but I'd love to try a nude or more neutral shade from this range. Those that love coral shades would adore this shade though! I personally am going to buy another shade that is more down my alley from the Sally Hansen Color Therapy range. However, the product itself is a winner. Thin consistency, easy to apply, opaque and quick drying. This ticks my boxes and I would recommend this to those looking for an affordable nail polish that won't let them down.

I'm a self-tanning noob. It scared me trying self-tan as I've seen others look deep orange and I was worried I'd end up the same - Nope! The St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse gives me a natural looking, medium tan without any orange tones. This ain't cheap, but can often be found on sale. I purchased the 240ml bottle as I wanted it to last me a while. I shake the bottle well and a deep brown mousse comes out without any trouble. I have a tanning mitt that I use to apply this and blend. It blends easily with the tanning mitt and I can see where I've applied it on my skin. You can do one coat, but I prefer to apply 2-3 coats to get my desired shade. I leave it for at least 3 hours to develop then shower. It can be left for longer if seeking a deeper shade. After allowing to develop and showering, I am left with a nice and natural looking tan. It looks like I've spent a few days at the beach. It is not super dark, but more of a medium natural shade. It also fades evenly and never appears patchy. It is best to use this once a week to maintain the tan, otherwise it is mostly gone within a week. Maintaining a tan is high maintenance though. You should exfoliate before applying, then apply, wait for hours for it to develop and then shower - this isn't easy to find time to do once a week. It takes hours but the results are worth it There is a slight fake tan smell, but it does not tend to linger. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to preferring if it was slightly darker. I might try the St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse next for a darker shade perhaps Overall, great product. Easy to apply with a good tanning mitt, gives a natural medium tan shade and fades evenly. Recommended even for fake-tan newbies such as myself.

I'm bad when it comes to using primers, as I always forget about them even though I do have a few in my makeup collection. Being a part of this BH Trial Team has reminded me of the wonders of using a primer. This primer comes in cute tube packaging which I like best. Squeeze out the product you need, and no dipping fingers in to a jar - very hygienic. The white packaging also makes this easy to differentiate among other products in my collection, as it is easy to spot. Two thumbs up on the packaging. Now lets move on to the product itself. This primer is a light peach shade which blurs imperfections, cancels out redness and overall provides a brighter appearance to my skin. It won't make your skin perfect, that's what foundation is for, but it does make it look better. I also find I need to use much less foundation when I wear this primer underneath. Guess all my foundations will now last longer! This primer silicone based as I can feel it glide over my skin. It is very lightweight and effortless to apply. It does not feel heavy on my skin at all, but just provides a smooth canvas for foundation to be applied over. It is SO easy to blend in foundation once applied over this primer. I do find my makeup stays put better when applied over this primer too. Only little downside is that I feel it might have broken me out a tiny bit. I haven't pinpointed if it is indeed this primer, but I have a little congestion since using this. Maybe it is just my skin? Yours might love it. This is a fantastic primer and if your skin agrees with it, you will definitely enjoy using it. Shame my skin is a tad fussy. Overall, lovely primer and a pleasure to use. Glides right over creating a smooth canvas for make up application. You will require less foundation when using this primer as skin is brightened and imperfections minimised. Give it a go, as you will love it if your skin agrees with it.

The Lady Jayne Styleguards are a win for me. I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the trial team for these new hair accessories. I was excited to try a product that would leave my hair kink free, since I have fine hair and I get insane kinks in my hair if I tie it for even 5 minutes. These are spiral shaped hair ties essentially. They are made of plastic and very easy to stretch. The ones I receives are clear, but they appear to come in other colours too. They are quite chunky on my hair, but I can live with that considering how gentle they are on my hair. I use them for a pony tail or a quick bun, as they hold my hair in place without any feeling of tugging on my hair. Hair ties feel harsh on my damaged and fine hair, hence I love these. No extreme kinks and not hard to remove. I don't just pull them, I take my hair out gently and have no problems. Personally, these gets a thumbs on from me. Perfect for those like me that want to put their hair up whilst being as gentle as possible on their hair.

I'm always keen to try a new brush. You can never have too many I'd say. However, this brush has not really impressed me. It doesn't really stand out from the other brushes I've tried. It's not bad, but nothing extraordinary. I received a pink one and it looks super cute. The brush itself is really lightweight and is not too large to pop in to my handbag. It is gentle on my scalp and does get tangles out quite easily without feeling too harsh on my hair. However, it did make my hair a bit frizzy. Maybe it's just my hair though, as it is chemically treated and not virgin hair. Overall, this is a good brush. Good but nothing special. It's affordable and a good addition to my bathroom. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this brush to others.
