I purchased a new GHD hairdryer a few weeks ago. My old hairdryer died, and it was finally time for a new one, and the special edition GHD Helios in rose pink to support breast cancer charities caught my eye. Pink is my favourite colour, and breast cancer charities are a great cause to support. The hairdryer is lightweight and easy to handle, and it dries my medium shoulder length hair reasonably quickly. It comes with a concentrator nozzle which is great for aiming the airflow exactly where you want it. This hairdryer is an extremely high quality product, and even though it was expensive, I would highly recommend it to anyone. You truly do get what you pay for with GHD products.

I can recall using these many years ago as a teenager, and also on my husband, who as a tradesman would get very dirty, and I was always amazed at the dirt and junk they removed! Clear instructions are included in the package, and they are best used weekly to keep your skin clear of deep down dirt, rubbish and oil that can cause blackheads. Presented in a box of 6 strips, press the strip onto your nose area, leave for 10-15 minutes until it dries, and then peel off slowly. You’ll be absolutely amazed at the junk and rubbish it removes! It’s actually very satisfying! I’ve always had pretty good skin, and blackheads have never really been a problem for me, but I find that these keep my husbands skin completely clear of blackheads. I’m not so sure they would be suitable for those with sensitive skin though.

Thank you Beautyheaven for the opportunity to trial this wonderful product as part of the 2021 Best In Beauty Awards. I’d never tried Du’it Tough Hands before now. Presented in a huge chunky 150g tube, the thick white handcream absorbs quickly and is deeply moisturising. It’s non greasy, and a small amount goes a long way. I have noticed an improvement in the condition of my cuticles since I’ve started using this cream too! It really is a good handcream, and lives up to its promises. I prefer to apply last thing before bed, and I also applied to my feet as well. However, I don’t like the packaging. The huge masculine looking tube doesn’t fit in with all my other girly things at all. I am a handcream junkie, and I prefer perfumed varieties. Plus there’s no way that huge tube would fit in my handbag. I wish they would make various tube sizes. I would recommend this handcream to anyone with really rough, dry hands, as it is an excellent product. It has worked for me, I’m just disappointed in the packaging, like others.

I absolutely love this brush! I have shoulder length hair, and quite a lot of it! Therefore it gets tangled and knotted very easily. This lovely brush removed knots and tangled very easily. I followed directions and dry brushed my scalp every night, gently applying pressure and drawing the brush through to the ends of my hair. It felt so good, so relaxing. Plus it supposedly removed and exfoliated all the dead skin cells from my scalp. I am so impressed with this brush. I would highly recommend it to anyone! In fact I’m so impressed that I want to see what else Lady Jayne has on offer!

Thank you Beautyheaven for inviting me to trial this product as part of the 2021 Best In Beauty Trial Team. I love Jergens products, but I’ve never tried this particular one before. To be totally honest, I’m not really a great lover of self tanners. I never use them at all. But I have to say that this body lotion is absolutely gorgeous. It smells beautiful, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I’ve got very fair skin. I only used it on my legs for the purposes of this trial. They turned a really lovely golden colour, not too dark and not at all orange like a lot of self tanners do. This thick, white, creamy, moisturising cream is presented in a 220ml tube with a flip top cap. It’s best applied at night, after showering. Allow to dry on your body before getting dressed. It has a really lovely scent that lingers for ages. Even though this isn’t a product that I personally would want, I think it’s an excellent product and I’d highly recommended it. It’s certainly not for those looking for dark colour. It’s just for a ‘glow’.

There’s nothing worse than the feeling of dry cracked lips. I’ve got my favourite lip balms that I’m faithful to, but they are a bit more expensive than this one. This lovely lip balm is enriched with paw paw and papaya seed oil. The balm was thick and very hydrating to my lips. It had a very mild but pleasant paw paw scent, but it didn’t linger for long after application. Presented in a convenient 10g squeeze tube with a slant top applicator, which makes it very handy to carry around in your handbag, this lip balm is very soothing and moisturising. I shared some with both of my parents, who had both been complaining about dry cracked lips. They were extremely impressed! I actually went out and bought them one of their own a couple of days later, and they were delighted. We would all definitely recommend this fabulous lip balm. Such great results from such an affordable product! Highly recommended!

Thank you Beautyheaven for inviting me to trial this product as part of Best In Beauty 2021 awards. I have used a Glow Lab product in the past, it was a facial product, but it was a long time ago. This moisturiser is made from all natural ingredients in New Zealand. It’s affordable, nicely scented and easy to use. Unfortunately the first time I used it, it stung my face, especially my neck. I ended up having to wash it all off. But it’s fine now, I don’t have any problems anymore. Presented in a 100ml tube with a flip top lid, this thin to medium consistency cream contains Shea butter, macadamia, rose hip oil and vitamin E. It has a pleasant scent, but it doesn’t linger for too long. It’s easy to use, just ‘slap it on’, and it absorbs and dries down quickly. But sometimes my skin can be a bit dry, and I found that it wasn’t moisturising enough for me. I would also prefer something more heavy duty for nighttime use for my dry skin too. Overall, Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser is an affordable option, and if your skin isn’t too dry, it might be worth looking into.
