A good protectant/emollient product for sensitive skin. It's marketed at babies, but I've used it for times when my skin has been troubled or had eczema flare ups. It doesn't hurt cuts and provides that barrier when the skin needs to heal, so I like putting it on before bed. Plus it lasts for ages. More hydrating than the White Mallow range.

I have sensitive skin so decided to try Weleda's almond range. It has no fragrance, absorbs well and good if you want something that isn't going to upset already delicate skin, but I actually thought it would have been a thicker consistency than it is - as it's targeted at dry skin types. There's also an almond lotion in this range which is for oily skin and I honestly felt like I could have been using that, due to the light texture. I actually think I prefer the Calendula Face Cream. Formulated for babies but more moisturising in my book.

I've been using Pai skincare for my sensitive skin but wanted to try Weleda's almond range as it's a more affordable option, plus I think they're a great quality brand. I can't fault it, it's not a bad product. It's thinner than I expected though, higher water content maybe? And it's not as soothing I've found. I like using a cream type cleanser and this does the job, but I'll probably be switching back as I can tell I'll probably end up using more of it anyway to get the results I want. Also, thinking about it, I'm used to using a cream cleanser not a lotion, which is what this is. If your skin isn't as sensitive as mine (the skin around my eyes is quite red and dry after using a botched face mask), you'll probably have more luck with this product.

Applies easily and buffs in well with a Kabuki brush. It's a light coverage so I don't think it covers blemisher, but gives an overall glow. Currently I tend to apply a touch of liquid foundation and then blend this in over the top. I don't see myself repurchasing but might try primer to see if that helps with longevity and staying power.

I have combination skin that can get dry so was interested to try the Weleda range best suited to my needs. It's a good consistency, thicker than I was expecting, but absorbed wonderfully. My skin felt soft and supple after using this, where you want to touch your skin but remember that's probably not the smartest idea, ha. Look forward to checking out the rest of the Iris range.

I love using micellar water as it's fuss free to use and great for PM when you need to cleanse. This is an affordable buy, but I didn't find it gentle enough for my skin. Stung slightly, and wasn't the most effective micellar water I've used compared to others. I'm sure this will suit others, but I wasn't a fan.

I love Andalou's travel size products as a trial run, to see if the product suits your needs. And that's what I'd recommend with this product, before buying the full size. I liked the consistency, but wasn't a fan of the smell. It's a very sweet vanilla that's a bit sickening. I've gotten used to it, but if I repurchase, will try the Rose scent.

I tend to love thick creamy body butters or body oils as I have dry skin and need something a bit heavier especially in Winter. I gave the Kukui Cocoa Body Butter a go and I like the consistency, but the smell has not been my favourite. Andalou's is a natural company, not just greenwashed for a marketing ploy which is great! But first impressions were that it smells overwhelmingly fake vanilla and very sweet. It's grown on me but I won't repurchase it again. I wish it smelt more like Cocoa and overall prefer a product like the Weleda Skin Food Body Butter.

I don't know what to think of this product. I liked it when I first tried it at the chemist, it's a shimmery glow and I was excited to use it. But I feel like it's a bit underwhelming or I'm not using it right? I've used it under my foundation, but it's too subtle to notice a shimmery glow. I've also applied it to my cheekbones, the other recommendation, but it doesn't illuminate, like you'd expect a product of that name to do. It's quite a thin product so you have to be very specific about where you apply it and using more doesn't make any difference. I'll trying and find a way to use the rest of the tube, but I can't see myself repurchasing.

I don't often use body wash, as I tend to find them drying more than anything. But I gave Weleda's a chance to see how they fair and they are certainly creamy. Great consistently that cleans as well as hydrated the skin. I don't know what the previous reviewer experienced, maybe a bad batch, as this indeed smelt like roses as if you were quite literally 'stopping to smell the roses.' Lovely, prominent scent but not overpowering.
