This product received a 4.7/5.0 review on Jurlique's website, and was marketed as a "deeply nourishing" eye cream. Clinical study has also gathered good results. I was under the impression that this is an anti ageing product. Having use it for coming to 1 month now, I'm still waiting for improvement of "fine lines and wrinkles". However, it is still a fairly comfortable eye cream. Its soft creamy texture feels comfy on skin around the eyes. It is also non greasy and easily absorbed. I did not feel any discomfort or sting sensation. Scent is faint and barely detectable. In conclusion, this is not as anti ageing as claimed, $65 for 15 ml is a little on the pricy side then.

I'm a big fan of gel based products, and I know I have to give this product a go when it was launched. It took a while as I struggle to finish (some) of my other products. First look, I love the lovely blue color of the gel, looks really refreshing. To be honest, I don't really like the smell of the product; artificially bubble gummy sweetness, reminds me of some Gatorade beverage. Fortunately, that's when it's all in a jar, once you applied onto your face, it becomes negligible. The water gel spread on easily, and leaves a dewy finish on the face; does not dry out. Face feels hydrated and comfortable. Sunscreen goes on it easily too. Neutrogena promises the product "goes beyond just skin surface level to deliver intensive and long-lasting hydration from within", and uses trehalose for "added hydration lock". The water gel is dermatologically testedto be oil-free, hypoallergenic & non-comedogenic. Priced at < $20 (@ Chemist Warehouse) for 50g, this product is a steal for anyone looking for an affordable hydrating gel based moisturizer for daily use. I am just about to finish my 1st jar, so I can't affirm "skin translucency, firmness, smoothness & plumpness for a natural healthy glow that lasts" just yet. It also comes in a Night Concentrate version. Yes, it could be a little too light for night use, I'd suggest pairing it with a separate hydrating serum, i.e. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Serum Anti-Oxidant Capsules. But if it's good enough for you, I don't see why not.

Was looking for a moisturising eye product to combat dry areas around my eyes when I chanced upon this fella. I usually prefer gel based products, especially eye products, for fear of oil seeds forming. I was wary of this one cause it has shea butter and avo oil, but after trying a sample sachet, I decided to get a jar. This luscious thick eye cream may look intimidating, but it absorbs quickly to hydrate and soften the eye area. And the light green shade actually brightens the eye area too!

I have normal hair, but my roots turns kinda oily at end of the day. So I'm always on the lookout for shampoos that cleanses the roots effectively without stripping hair's natural moisture. Pantene Micellar series come in 3 variants, the charcoal caught my eye and when it goes on half price, I quickly grabbed one. I returned to the store for my 2nd bottle after 1 wash. The shampoo truly does what it claims. With minimal rubbing, it deep cleanses my scalp gently; hair roots were light and lifted, and less oily the next day. Hair doesn't feels stripped after washing, it was soft and and doesn't need conditioner. Shampoo has a lovely lily scent.

I've always loved natural products, and Sukin always top my list. This body wash smells really amazing with its signature scent, that every shower feels like a spa session! You know it's a gentle wash cause there isn't much suds. But yet, it cleanses really well, and leaves skin feels soft and not stretched. I know that Sukin has came out with a couple of new body wash variants now, but this will always be my favourite. Not only it's natural, but it's also vary affordable. I always buy them in 1 litre!

I am wary the chemicals and nasties in anti deodorants, so when I saw this on special at the chemist, I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. The deodorant came in only 1 scent: Sukin's signature, mainly vanilla-ish. It's effective (for me; I understand that the deodorant wasn't effective for some users here) in "neutralising" the sweat odour, even though it doesn't stop perspiration; bear in mind it is not an anti perspirant. I like it that it's natural, paraben and aluminium free.

Swisse makes really good and affordable face mask, and this is one of my fav. 70ml of goodness at only $9 (at Chemist Warehouse), you cannot miss it. The mask is easy to spread across the face and carries a faint honey smell. Drying time is relevant to how thick you spread. I like to spread it generously, but not overly thick. Usually dries in a jiffy, and its grey changes from dark to a lighter shade. Sometimes I see little dots on the dried mask, and I like think to think it's the clay absorbing all that gunk and sebum from my pores. Like all dried up clay mask, it is as messy to remove. I like to use a wet sponge and wipe over gently, until all the mask comes off. After which I will finish off with my usual skincare regime. The mask does a good job of what it promises, and skin is left clean, refreshed and breathable.

I was really excited when I saw this at the Vogue event, and was glad I went up to try. I immediately fell in love with the result on the back of my hand. That was the rejuvenating mask. I bought both rejuvenating and hydrating jar mask starter kit from Chemist Warehouse (otherwise it's $50+ each), and got on to try the hydrating mask first. Each starter kit comes a magnetic infuser (and a velvet storage pouch) which will help penetrate the mask 10 layers into the skin, and the 2 min miracle massage will help you achieve spa like feel skin. I like the gel texture of the mask, and it has a pleasant smell; not over powering. I begin with 3 large dollops on the forehead and both cheeks, and proceed to massage the mask in with the infuser. The infuser was comfortable to hold and move around on the face, and has a nice cooling sensation. It does feel like the mask is better absorbed by the skin. After massaging for 1-2 mins (per box's instructions), most of the mask is well spread across the face, and little left on the skin surface. Remember to rinse the infuser before storing it in the velvet pouch. Within minutes, the remaining mask on the skin were absorbed too, leaving a beautiful glow on the skin. It says you could apply essence and other products and use this mask as the last step to your skincare regime in the evening, but I use it on its own, only misting my face before. I also did not apply any other product after the mask. Skin remained hydrated and supple the next morning. I can't wait to use the rejuvenating mask!

Great mask at a great price. Does what it promises and scalp immediately feels fresh and detoxed after use. There isn't many scalp mask available with a non-hefty price tag. This product allows a hair, or scalp spa at the comfort of your own place. And it only takes 5 minutes. DO NOT leave on for longer than 5 minutes as that could dry out your scalp and you end up with irritated scalp (It happened to me!). Smells typically L'Oreal, if you know what I mean. Gooey paste that is a bit tricky to apply. I initially used my fingers to apply but it got really messy. Then I used an ice cream stick to apply and it works! Picks up an appropriate amount, part the hair and slap it on and spread. Do that a few times until you feel 80% of your scalp is covered. You get this "mask drying up" feel. Rinsing off was no fuss. Immediately you feel your scalp feeling fresher and cleaner. I'd recommend using it once every 7 to 10 days, or whenever your scalp is feeling gunk and funky. Overdoing could dry out the scalp.

I received a sample from BH (thank you!) recently and can't wait to try them. It's lovely I have to say. I have normal to oily skin, and while the cream is more suited for dry skin, it has no adverse effect on my skin. A little goes a long way, and keeps my skin well hydrated throughout the day. The cream is thick, but leaves no greasy feel; absorbs fast and well. I kinda like the smell, lovely and not too strong.
