I was lucky enough to receive the Plunketts Natural Vitamin E Brightening Facial Lotion for Beautyheavens Natural Beauty Month however it was not really a moisturiser that I enjoyed. The texture was a lightweight, light scent, creme-gel but I found that it left a residue that did not absorb into my skin. There was no detected brightness brought to my complexion either, although I already currently use a vitamin C. Overall a disappointing experience from a great brand and a product with great packaging.

My newborn son has eczema and cradle cap and the Plunketts NS 21 Skin Repair Treatment has worked a charm for calming down the areas of skin with irritation. The white thick cream feels hydrating and soothing with a medicinal subtle scent. Its so great I even noticed that after treating my sons eczema that the back of my hands where softer and not as red or irritated as before. A really wonderful product that can have many uses in treating chronically dry and/or irritated skin for the whole family.

The Hemptuary Hemp Nourishing Face and Body Oil is a beautiful, lightweight oil with a light neutral fragrance. Filled with ingredients my dry, aging skin loves, this oil really hydrated my skin any left it feeling nourished for most of the day. The bottle is beautiful and heavy, the oil takes a while to absorb but feels nourishing rather than overly oily or greasy. I would absolutely recommend this oil if you are looking to try a Hemp oil, very enjoyable to use and filled with goodiess my skin loves.

I was lucky enough to receive the Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Overnight Serum as a part of Beautyheavens Natural Beauty Month, however this serum just didn’t work for my short hair. After using the serum my hair appeared slightly clumped together without any noticeable difference in texture or hydration. The serum is very lightweight with a slight fresh scent, it absorbs quickly with no visible residue. This product maybe aimed better at someone suffering from split ends or dryness due to dyeing.

As a fine, wavy haired lady, finding hair products that deal with my frizziness whilst moisturising and not weighting down hair is very problematic. I was lucky enough to receive the Akin Miracle Shine Conditioning Hair Mask Tub and it has undoubtedly changed my hair. Very moisturising without weighing my hair down, this mask has really helped my hairs texture while making it shiny and easy to manage. The mask is easy to use and very effective, I will continue to purchase it however it is very strongly scented.

Having dark brown fine hair makes finding an undetectable dry shampoo challenging. Once brushed through, the Batise Green Tea and Chamomile Dry Shampoo takes down the amount of oil and shine in my hair while not leaving any residue but imparting a faint fresh scent. There is no white caste after brushing the hair and my hair doesn’t feel sticky or weighted down by product, my frizziess is not exasperated and my hair looks fresh. I appreciate the updated, decreased amount of packaging to product.

The perfect accompaniment to the Hydrating Body Wash, the Etch and Ethos Nourishing Body Lotion is rich in floral botanicals with a lightly moisturising texture. The silky creamy gel absorbs fairly quickly into the skin and leaves behind a beautiful floral scent. There is no residual problem left on my skin although it feels fresh and hydrated. The packaging is both practical and environmentally minded. Great value for money and a well thought out product line, I look forward to trying more from Etch and Ethos.

The Etch and Ethos Hydrating Body wash is presented in very clean packaging with an easy to use, although sometimes overly enthusiastic, pump. The consistency is pleasant, almost a milky gel formulation that is very fragrant and lathers into a generous sud. The body wash feels beautiful to use, refreshing without striping and a little bit of product goes a long way. It is wonderful that the Etch and Ethos products come with refillable containers and they feel very luxurious, especially for the price category. Just lovely.

I was fortunate enough to trial both the shampoo and conditioner from Tresemmes Volume and Fullness line for just over two weeks. The shampoo is really great and excellent value for money. It does a satisfying job of lathering up without stripping my hair and smells just like a hair salon. A little goes a long way and with the generous amount of product this will last a considerable time. I didn’t find my hair to have any extra volume or fullness after use, but that is usually due to the conditioner not the shampoo. My hair was less frizzy and straighter after using the line, my husband’s hair (coarse and curly) was softer both in texture and curl so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has curly hair that they are trying to tame.

Over the course of two weeks I tried the Conditioner and Shampoo from the Tresemme Volume and Fullness line. After the first use I found my hair was less frizzy, very smooth and silky. My hair stayed very straight (it can sometimes wave or curl) after using the conditioner so I found that the volume and fullness of my hair was not improved. My husband, who has coarse, curly hair found that his hair had significantly more volume than before. The best thing about the line is the scent, which smells exactly like a hair salon. I also appreciate that it comes in a big bottle with a solid pump.
