I was honoured to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this scalp scrub was a standout in the lineup. Right from the first attempt, I could feel the difference: the texture is pleasantly gritty in a gentle, spa-style way, and it massaged my scalp beautifully. According to the brand, it’s formulated to gently exfoliate the scalp, removing build-up, flakes and excess oil, helping to purify and rebalance the scalp for healthier hair growth. The range also boasts 96 % natural ingredients and is part of the Blue Beauty movement (ocean waste plastic packaging, etc.). After using it once, I noticed my scalp felt lighter and less “heavy with product/residue” really helpful after a long week of styling, retail shifts and being on my feet. After two uses, my hair actually had a little more bounce and looked a touch fresher at roots than usual (which is a big win given how often I hop between uni, work and gym). What I love: The tube packaging is practical (less fuss in the shower) the brand mentions this as one of its design features. The scent is calming, not overpowering a bonus when I’m rushing mornings or refuelling post-shift. It feels like a little “scalp spa” at home the kind of treatment I’d normally get if I had more time. One small caveat: if your hair is very fine and you’re used to ultra-light texture treatments, you might find the scrub slightly more intensive than your usual pick. I found that after using I needed to follow with my usual shampoo & conditioner (which I did anyway) to ensure the ends stayed smooth. Final Impression: Yes I’d repurchase this. I’d recommend it especially for anyone whose scalp feels sluggish, heavy with product, or needs a reset (hello frequent washing, styling, long days). If your scalp is super sensitive or you’re avoiding exfoliants entirely, you might patch test first but for most of my busy-hair (and busy-life) readers, this is a refreshing and effective treat.

I was so excited to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this Maybelline Lifter Stix was one of the fun discoveries! It’s a multi-use stick that claims to cover, contour, highlight and sculpt all in one. The texture is creamy and smooth; I found it glides on easily and blends out well (especially when I’m in a hurry before uni or work). One of the big pluses is that it feels lightweight and doesn’t sit heavily on the skin not something I always find in multi-use sticks. Reviewers say it gives a natural finish and is easy to blend. Here’s what I liked: Great for days when I want a “put-together” look but don’t want to spend a long time. It’s handy for contouring or highlighting when I’m doing one of my more styled looks (especially working at Politix in David Jones, where I like a polished look). The packaging is sleek and straightforward no fuss. Some things to keep in mind: The coverage is more light to medium; it didn’t completely cover all my imperfections when I was wanting full-coverage. Shade matching could be trickyvI found the undertone info a bit vague and had to test a couple Final Impression: Yes I’d consider keeping this in my makeup bag because it suits my busy lifestyle (uni, part-time job, social). I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a fast, versatile product that works for base, contour and highlight all in one. If you prefer full coverage or have very challenging skin concerns, you might still want a dedicated concealer or full-coverage foundation alongside.

I was honoured to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this serum was one of the most exciting pieces in my parcel. From the first pump, I noticed just how lightweight the texture is a milky-soft consistency that absorbs quickly without any tack or heavy residue. According to the brand, it's formulated with 5% lactic acid, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to exfoliate, hydrate and brighten all at once. After a week of consistent use (morning and/or night), my skin looked visibly smoother and the “just-woke-up fresh” glow had returned even after long days at work and uni. One thing I loved: it layers beautifully under my sunscreen and makeup without pilling or interfering with my base. Reviewers reported that the serum is “velvety” and works well even on sensitive skin. If I were to note a small caveat: because it has gentle exfoliating action (thanks to the lactic acid), on days when my skin is already a bit sensitive (due to travel, sun exposure or a late night) I tended to pair it with a richer moisturiser on top to ensure extra barrier support. But honestly, that’s minor compared to how much the glow improved. Final Impression: Yes I’d definitely consider repurchasing this. I’d recommend it especially for someone who wants more than just “hydration” someone after a smoother, brighter, healthier-looking complexion (which pretty much covers me). If you already have very sensitive/reactive skin or prefer zero-exfoliating action, you may want to patch test first but for most readers, this hits the sweet spot of skin-care meets glow magic.

I was honoured to be invited to BeautyHeaven’s Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this Tough Hands hand cream was one of the most impressive finds in the mix. As someone who spends long shifts on my feet, frequently washing my hands (hello retail work!), I’ve noticed how the skin on my hands can get dry, tight and vulnerable so when I tried this, the difference was real. The texture is rich but surprisingly absorbent — it doesn’t leave a sticky or overly slick residue, which means I could apply it before bed or post-shift without worrying about messing up my sheets or being uncomfortable. According to the brand’s info, the cream contains 10% urea to restore moisture balance and seal cracked skin, plus lactic acid for gentle exfoliation of rough calloused areas. After a few nights of consistent use, the crepey texture around my knuckles and the dryness between fingers has visibly improved smoother look, more comfortable feel when I’m restocking the racks or greeting customers. One user in the review panel even said “The non-greasy and fast-absorbing consistency made this possible”. The only minor note: if your hands are very cracked or irritated, you might feel a slight sting at first (due to the exfoliating and active ingredients) if the skin is broken. A few users noted this. Final Impression: Yes I’d absolutely repurchase this one. If you’re someone like me juggling uni, part-time work, long hours standing and hand-washing and want a handcare product that actually works, this is it. I’d recommend it especially for dry, cracked or work-worn hands. If your skin is extremely sensitive or fractured, you may want to patch test the first use, but for most busy-hands it’s a standout.

I was honoured to be invited to BeautyHeaven’s Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and among the beautiful items I received this Dewy Serum Blush Drops truly stood out. The texture is impressively lightweight – it feels more like a skincare serum than a traditional blush, which makes it perfect for my busy days juggling uni, work at Politix and life. Right from the first use, the colour blended seamlessly into my skin without streaking or heaviness. The formula features a hyaluronic acid complex plus sunflower seed oil, which hydrate and nourish as they tint, giving cheeks a soft luminous flush rather than a flat matte finish. I picked the shade (I used Warm Rose), and it complemented my skin tone beautifully enough to be visible, but subtle enough for everyday wear. What I love: the “fresh-cheek” glow lasts through a full shift (which is saying something on my feet all day), and the finish still looks natural when I move from day to evening. The dropper-style applicator makes it easy to control I found one small drop was plenty. One minor note: if you prefer a super bold blush look, you might need two drops or a layering trick, but for a natural radiance effect this is perfect. Final Impression: Yes I’d absolutely repurchase this. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a blush that feels like skincare, gives a radiant glow and works with a busy lifestyle (like mine). If you prefer heavy pigmented or matte blushes, you might still keep one of those on hand, but for all-round, everyday glow? This is a winner.

I was honoured to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this tinted lip balm was one of the sweet surprises in my box. From the first swipe, I loved the lightweight, balm-like texture: smooth, comfortable and deeply hydrating my lips felt noticeably softer. Reviews highlight that the balm is formulated with botanical waxes, shea butter and coconut oil to nourish lips while delivering a sheer wash of colour. The colour payoff is subtle but lovely perfect for when you want something more polished than a plain clear balm but still natural. One reviewer described it as “my-lips-but-better” in terms of shade and finish. I also appreciate that it’s cruelty-free and formulated with good-for-you ingredients (which fits nicely with my preference for thoughtful beauty choices). If I were to mention a small detail: the sheer tint means it won’t replace a full lipstick when you’re after bold colour it’s more for everyday softness and glow. And if your lips are super dry or flaky, you might still need to apply a more intense treatment underneath. Final Impression: Yes I’d definitely repurchase this. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants a fuss-free lip product that hydrates, looks pretty and works for day-to-day wear (especially when you’re busy with uni, work and life like I am). If you prefer high-coverage colour or a matte finish, you might still keep a lipstick handy but for all-round ease and nourishment, this is a winner.

I was absolutely thrilled to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this AIRvive 2-in-1 Air Styler was a standout from the moment I unboxed it. From the get-go it felt premium the mauve & gold colour, the 3 m long swivel cord (perfect since I sometimes style in the living room while prepping for a uni day) and the thoughtful design all impressed. What I love: It has two distinct modes Wet Mode to gently dry and smooth damp hair, and Finishing Mode for styling dry hair. The styling plates are coated with ceramic infused with heat-activated micro-conditioners that are released as you style, helping to protect against frizz and environmental factors. The Ionic Air technology helps eliminate static and the cooled outer casing feels safer to handle when styling by myself. In real-life use, I found it makes my hair feel smoother, shinier and more polished — even after a long day standing on my feet at the store or rushing between shifts and class. The styling workflow becomes more efficient: I can go from towel-damp hair to a sleek finish without pulling out multiple tools, which is a huge plus when I’m short on time. If I’m honest, one very minor note: on days when my hair is very wet (after the gym or rain), I found it best to towel-dry slightly more than normal before using the Wet Mode so the tool glides through with fewer passes. But that’s really tiny and didn’t detract from how good it performed. Final Impression: Absolutely yes I’d repurchase this without hesitation and can confidently recommend it. If you’re someone juggling uni, work shifts, long days and want a tool that simplifies your routine and gives you salon-worthy results at home, this is for you. If your hair is extremely fine or you prefer super lightweight tools (and don’t style often), you might still want to compare with something ultra-light but for most I think the value and results here are excellent.

I was honoured to be invited to the BeautyHeaven Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this lip balm was one of the standout treats I tried. From the moment I applied it, I noticed that my lips which had been feeling dry and needing a boost after a couple of long shifts at the store felt instantly softer and more comfortable. According to reviews, this balm hydrates and softens dry lips quickly and effectively. Beauty Heaven +1 The texture is rich but not heavy, gliding on smoothly. I like that it doesn’t leave a waxy film and instead gives a smooth finish that works well under a tint or gloss (which I wear sometimes when I’m working in the store). The packaging is simple and practical ideal for slipping into my work bag or coat pocket. One minor note: during very windy outdoor moments I found I had to re-apply a little more frequently than at home, but that’s a small trade-off given how much better my lips felt overall. Final Impression: Absolutely yes I’d repurchase this lip balm. It’s ideal for someone like me who’s on their feet, chatting with customers all day, and needs quick, reliable lip care. I’d recommend it especially if your lips tend to get dry or chapped (hello Aussie sun or air-conditioning!) and you want something that works without fuss. If you prefer super glossy finishes, you might still layer it, but for everyday protection this is a winner.

I’ve really enjoyed using this creamy body wash over the past few showers the texture is rich yet light, and it foams up beautifully to create a comforting lather. The scent is divine: a warm sweet almond note partnered with subtle vanilla, which makes the shower feel like a little treat rather than just cleansing. It left my skin feeling soft, nourished and smooth to the touch perfect for my normal-to-dry skin which sometimes feels a bit tight after a long workday (especially after standing on my feet at the store). I also appreciate that the formula highlights sweet almond oil and vanilla fruit extract, giving it a more caring feel rather than harsh cleansing only. Thanks To Nature +2 Woolworths +2 The fragrance lingers modestly, so I still felt fresh for a few hours afterwards without it being overwhelming (which I love). If I were to pick up something to improve: it would be nice if the moisturising effect lasted just a little longer (maybe five extra minutes after towelling off). But overall, this is a lovely body wash that elevates a simple chore into a little self-care moment. Final Impression: Yes I’d definitely repurchase this, especially for mornings when I want a bit of gentle indulgence. I’d recommend it for anyone who loves sweet, comforting scents and wants skin to feel soft but not greasy. If your skin is very sensitive or fragrance-averse you might want to patch check, but for me this hits the sweet spot.

I was honoured to be invited to BeautyHeaven’s Best in Beauty Awards 2025, and this conditioner was one of the gems I received. From the very first rinse, I could feel the difference the texture is rich but smooth, and it glides through damp hair effortlessly. The formula contains Abyssinian Seed Oil and Shea Butter, which the brand says help lock in moisture and boost shine for dry or damaged hair. Thanks To Nature After using it right after the matching shampoo (also from the Hydrate & Nourish range), my hair felt noticeably softer and looked polished. The ends seemed less rough and my strands had a healthy sheen even mid-week after long days of work on my feet and frequent washing. I appreciated the subtle fragrance that complemented my usual perfume rather than competing with it. If there’s one small point, it’s that for super heavy damage (e.g., from intense heat styling) I might still follow up with a more intensive mask periodically but for regular use, this hits a beautiful middle ground of luxe feel and practical hydration. Final Impression: Definitely yes I’d repurchase this conditioner. I’d recommend it especially to anyone with normal-to-dry hair (colour-treated or heat-styled) who wants a moisturising and smoothing conditioner that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. If your scalp is very oily and you prefer ultra-light formulas, you might want to alternate or skip roots, but for most I think this is a standout in its category.
