I was lucky enough to be part of the Keratase Fusio Dose In Salon Ritual Trial Team. I had my treatment done at Locks in Balmain (near the London Hotel) and the owner Ben was fantastic. The ambience was relaxing, professional and upmarket. I think they would have a lot of repeat business and a happy established clientele. It is difficult to fully judge a salon without a colour or cut, however. My hair had blonde balyage done 18 months ago and nothing since. It is now waist length, fine, prone to frizz and in desperate need of a haircut. The treatment itself is much more sophicated than previous treatment I have had, I was aboe to have densifying for the upper 2/3 rds and protein for my damaged ends, all in the one treatment. You could tell that my hair blowdried more easily and was more manageable. It was still challenging due to its length and damaged ends. The ends are not a problem than can solved by a treatment, they need scissors and this is a reflection of my hair not the quailty of the treatment. I would visit this salon again, personally, and recommend it. I would, however, have a haircut before I had this treatment again.

I love the ease of this product and a lasts have it in the cupboard if for some reason I can not get a salon appointment. I use this when my lip gets crazy, my hairline develops sideburns or all of a sudden I have random long amd/or dark neck hairs. They seem to appear all at once without warning. I also use it to remove the peach fuzz all over my face before a big event because my makeup sits better and lasts longer. So easy to use and relatively pain free, I have sensitive skin and whilst it is red after, a soothing lavender or tea tree cream maybe some aloe and it is quickly back to normal. Goof proof product and no worries about burning yourself. I like that it seems to lightly lift an dead skin off as well. I also use it on my forearms occasionally where I jave very light growth.

The range of colours I reviewed was developed for the Spring Racing Carnival in conjunction with Kate Waterhouse. They are beautiful, modern and bang on trend. The new packaging is heavy glass with a squared off bottom, has discreet white lettering and has a silvertone lid with a rubbergrip that aids control and precision in application. Overall it has a more modern luxurious look in both packaging and colour range. The brush is wide but not too thick, and combined with the rubber ring on the lid and fantastic formulation enabled precise quick and easy application. The formulation dispenses with the need for a separate bottom and top coat. All 3 colours, a nude, a blue and a coral, that I tried were sufficiently opaque that only 2 coats were necessary for a professional high gloss finish. It took 1/2 hour to dry on its own. The polish wore without chips for between 3-4 days. I filled in any chips and gave all nails an extra single coat. This easily extended wear to a week. I used the coral colour, 380 Peach of Cake, on my toes with two coats and easily achieved 4 weeks of wear.

This mascara comes packaged in a beautiful architectural high gloss bronze case. This has not only aesthetic benefits but makes the end easier to hold and comfortable in the hand, giving greater control to the application. The design also enables it easy to ensure the tube is closed properly preventing premature drying out of the product. The brush has densely placed short plastic bristles that are longer towards the centre. It is also designed to be 'bendy' with a lot of give. The formulation is thick and wet. One application provides significant lengthening, slight curl and is very black. A second application provides easy extension of the lashes, possibly due to the argan's inclusion, and thickens the lashes into an upward fan. A third coat increased thickening and glamour but was not really necessary. It also gave a nice result on lower lashes. My only criticism is that the small inner lashes were difficult to capture and cover with this product. I was sceptical of the inclusion of "Argan" as a trend ingredient. However, one of the most noteworthy results of this mascara is the way in which the lashes remain 'soft' after product application. This has immediate benefits enabling subsequent coats to go on smoothly without clumping. It enables a '5pm' touch up, without having to start again or risking a clumpy result. Over the long term, I found it helped with the condition of my lashes which helped prevent breakage and fallout of the lashes. This seemed to naturally thicken them, although this is not an advertised benefit and just my personal experience. It wears well. The soft lashes means no flaking and there was little to no smudging over a normal day's wear. It was also easy to remove.

The packaging of MAC's Strobe Cream doesn't begin to even hint at the beauty and radiance it contains. It can be used as a glowing dewy primer, mixed with foundation for added radiance or placed on targeted areas after foundation, such as the high points of the cheekbones, above the eyebrow, in the cupid's bow, the middle or the bottom lip and the tip of the nose, for that ski jump effect. It is creamy, shimmery and blends like a dream. A little goes a long way.

This beautiful bronzer packaged in a simple sleek black compact is like a pearl hidden in an Oyster. The colours can be applied separately (I have produced a beautiful eye look from this compact alone) or swept together to produce a bronzer with dimensionality. It makes the skin look healthy and radiant when applied judiciously. I find blush and highlight unnecessary when using this product. It is beautiful enough on its own.

MAC blushes are the benchmark by which I judge all others. The two colours I am reviewing are Prism, a lovely rosy flush, and Melba, the perfect coral. The packaging is the trademark functional black with a clear insert to see the colour. It is the formulations that set it apart. They are beautiful, easy to apply, buildable and blendable. They do double duty as eyeshadow. They are everything you want from your blush. With a HUGE range of colours and finishes, you will find your perfect match, if not many. I flirt with other brands but I always come home to MAC.

YSL have really hit the mark with these beautiful lipsticks. I only own one in 7. Le Fuchsia but I covet many more. The packaging is sleek glossy golden column with an embossed YSL. Unfortunately you don't need to reapply very often as the formulation is so pigmented it lasts for ages on the lips. It wears well fading down to almost a light stain. I always use a lip liner but I doubt there is major bleeding. It is a high satin finish, pigmented and very comfortable on the lips. I have nothing else to say except can I please have some more?

The last time a gloss rocked my world was the release of the original MAC Lip Glass in the 90s, in a matte mouth world, it was revolutionary. Even the Lancome Juicy Tube phenomenon seemed an evolution. This is NOT a gloss or a stain, I would say it has a lacquer finish that wears down beautifully over several hours to a stain. It is not your average doe foot either. Its amazing design allows for a very crisp edge to be created and kept. The packaging is beautiful. I found myself reapplying unnecessarily in bathrooms to envious and curious looks from other girls. I have the No 1 Le Rouge but their are many beautiful colours and like a big girls' pokemon, I want to catch them all. It is a rock and roll product that has rocked my lipstick world.

I have this liner in Brownie Pink, which is a your lips but better shade. The formulation is buttery smooth and applies easily to the lips in either a precise line or all over the lips. They prevent bleeding of any lip products placed on top, even a bright red gloss. They sharpen well and don't break all the time. Good range of colours, some pretty enough to wear on their own. Especially as the 90s matte lip returns. They are not drying and feel comfortable on the lips. Worth the money. They seem to last a long time too.
