I received this product in one of my sample boxes. To be honest I wasn't really sure what to do with it as I have never used a product like this before. In hindsight I should have looked on this site but instead, I just used it after showering and cleansing my face. On its own with no other product over the top. There is no discernable fragrance, just a whiff of a smell that is not unpleasant, nor is it appealing. The product is a brown thin liquid that IS rather unappealing. However a small amount covers a large area, this one tube lasted me for absolutely ages. I was a bit skeptical about the claims but I was proved wrong. Quite quickly my skin looked clearer, I do have a few freckles and starting to get some age spots etc, and they all seemed to fade slightly. I was happy with the result so I didn't change how I used this product, right down to cutting the tube open to get the very last bit out!

I brought this conditioner, along with the matching shampoo, during Covid when the shelves were emptying fast. L'Oreal Elvive products were on special for half price and this particular type of shampoo and conditioner were the only ones left. So I purchased them with no prior experience of this brand. More recently I have been working my way through my hoard accumulated during our period of panic buying, and was pleasantly surprised by these products. I did find the flip lid a bit of a struggle to open. Also the fact that both containers at quick glance looked exactly the same made it difficult to wash my hair in a hurry. The point of difference was the lid was at the bottom of the conditioner and at the top of the shampoo. Maybe something a bit more distinctive, like a different colour lid for one, would be better? But I liked the fragrance, though it was a bit on the strong side. The conditioner was white and quite thick but applied well to the hair. After use my hair did feel soft and hydrated. Good product for the price, that adequately conditioned my hair. I didn't feel like it made any difference to protecting the colour in my hair, but at that price I wasn't expecting miracles.

I'm pretty sure this is my first time using this brand, and I am now a convert! I received this product as a 50ml sample in a tube. A great size for taking travelling and it lasted absolutely ages. You really only need to squeeze out the smallest amount as once you wet is slightly it lathers up very well. The fragrance is mild, which is a good thing as I can react to strong smells. I used this cleanser just for everyday cleansing as well as to take makeup off. It was equally effective for both scenarios. My skin did not feel dry afterwards either. The price point of this product is extremely reasonable for something that will last a very long time. The pump action container should help regulate how much you use as you don't need much. Definitely a cleanser I will buy again.

I actually brought this product a couple of years ago. It was when the shelves were empty due to people panic buying during the height of the Covid pandemic. Toilet paper, disinfectant etc were almost non existent. This brand had shampoo and conditioner on special but this particular product was the only one left on the shelf. I do have coloured hair so thought I'd better buy it! I only recently tried this shampoo. I thought the shampoo and conditioner bottles looked too similar, very hard to know which was which when you are in the middle of showering. The only real difference was that the shampoo had the flip top at the top and the conditioner on the bottom. But who remembers that from one wash to another? I did enjoy the fragrance, very pleasant. I wash my hair twice and found the first wash the shampoo didn't lather up very well while the second did. My hair felt clean after washing and not dried out at all. I can't say I noticed the colour in my hair lasting any longer or being any brighter, but I was overall happy with the end result of the wash. The price range is very good for what I would rate a good shampoo. A product I would buy again, especially if it was on special.

I usually love Toni & Guy products so was excited to try this one, as I just love a leave in conditioner! Because my hair is curly I do like to use a conditioner or similar, to help define the curl and to stop the frizz. This product comes in a 100ml tube with a flip top. The fragrance is a bit flowery for me but thankfully not too overpowering. The conditioner is of a white creamy consistency and distributes well through towel dried hair. It definitely makes my hair easier to get a comb through, positively a winner in that category. However I did not feel that it overly conditioned my hair or that my hair was any less flyaway. So in conclusion, probably not one of my favourite products from Toni & Guy.

I was quite excited about trying this product. I've used the oil before, after having open heart surgery I applied it to the scar. This sounded like a much easier, and less messy, way to use the product. Because it was winter I decided to use this gel as a night time moisturiser. My skin, now that I'm in my 50's can get quite dry in the winter. Even though you don't really use a lot, I felt like this tub lasted forever, because it is a gel you need to use more than necessary to get the coverage. Then once your skin warms the gel it suddenly becomes a lot runnier. Too much to absorb so you are left with a shiny, oily face that at times is a bit irritating. For that reason I think the oil is probably a better way to go as very often I found myself wiping the excess off. Which is wasteful. But I did like the results. My skin felt very hydrated and soft.

This is a product I hadn't heard of and received as a sample in a beauty box. The first thing that struck me was the colour, and the fragrance of minty menthol! The initial wash I found it didn't lather up very well, but the second wash it did. I usually wash my hair twice anyway so that definitely wasn't an issue. A few people have commented on their hair feeling very stripped after washing. I didn't experience that, though my hair did feel very clean, maybe a little bit dry. However after conditioning it was fine. I have long curly hair so how my comb goes through my hair when wet is always a good test of the quality of products I've used. I'm not really sure what the long term benefits of using this shampoo would be. I did use it for about 4 washes and can't say my hair felt any better or worse than my usual shampoo. Still at the price point I would purchase it again as I loved the fragrance.

QV is definitely has well priced products. Nothing fancy but great for everyday use. This moisturiser is probably a bit thin and runny for my liking, and it has hardly any fragrance at all. I mostly use it as a body moisturiser but have also used it on my face at times. In the summer I find it is sufficient, though I do prefer a thicker and more moisturising product in the winter. As I am in the older demographic now, my skin can get very dry in the winter. I don't think this moisturiser meets the criteria for my winter dryness. I would buy it again for summer use, and I would also use it on my face again. A great backup product that won't break the bank!

I received a sample of this product. I took it to Cocos Islands with me along with my other sample that was to be used on the face. After I had finished that one I then used this sample on my face also. Honestly I couldn't tell the difference. It applied well and did not leaving my face feeling greasy at all. Before we set off for our ride to our swimming spot I would apply the sunscreen and then be at the beach for hours, in and out of the water. Rarely did I reapply sunscreen and yet I did not get burnt once. I think the claim of water resistance for 40 minutes is quite conservative! And the bright orange container makes it very easy to spot in your bag which is a bonus.

I received a small tube of this product as a sample. Not having heard of this company before I was quite excited to try it. I took it on a holiday with me to the Cocos Islands where I was exposed to plenty of sun, surf and sand. A good test for any moisturiser! I used this product after cleansing and toning. I found that the cream was a little thick and therefore didn't apply that well. It did absorb ok but left a bit of a residue feeling on my skin. The fragrance was light and pleasant. I was satisfied with how my skin felt afterwards, adequately moisturised, but at that price point it left me feeling underwhelmed. Probably not a product I would buy again.
