Now that I am of mature age, I like my night time moisturiser to be more of the thick and thirsty variety. The kind of cream thats denser of daytime moisturisers, where a little goes a long way yet it's enough moisturisation to work through the night as I sleep. This night cream is presented in a 50g screw top jar. The jar itself is generous in size which I appreciate at this time of the year with my skin being drier than usual because of the cold. The presentation itself is quite swish with its acrylic see through base and striking silver lid. The cream itself has a mild fragrance that isn't over powering. It's quite pleasant and fresh and dissipates quickly after application. My skin feels replenished of moisture every night once I have applied this cream. A little goes a long way indeed. It's difficult to give a rough amount of cream used each night as each night varies. I used the cream on both my face and neck each night and as the days turned into weeks I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Unfortunately in the last week of use I became quite ill so my skin took an absolute beating but the cream did all it could to keep up with what was going on with my skin. My lines appear plumper, my skin is hydrated and rejuvenated, has a more even tone and I look forward to the continued use. Overall I'm very happy with this night cream. With 8% percent AHA's it packs a night time punch where it's been needed most.

When it comes to my target areas of concern with my skin, I kind of expect my serums to be the boost I need to get started in addressing those concerns. I was very pleased that this serum was able to tick those boxes for my mature ageing skin. It might only be 30ml's but this tube of serum packs a punch and goes to work straight away upon application. I applied this serum to only my target areas of forehead wrinkles, my outer eyes crowfeet, and around my mouth and chin and jawline for a month. I gradually added this serum to my night time routine because of the high AHA's content. I started at every fourth to third day and by the end of the month I using it every second night. Noticeably the fragrance is almost non existent which surprised me. I only used the tiniest amount in these areas to make the product feel more economical and also to not overuse the product. There was a slight tingling sensation when first using the product but nothing in the way to be alarmed about. I realised that this was just the product going to work. The tingling feeling eased as I continued to use the product. After the first 2 weeks or so is when I started to notice a real difference in the way my skin appeared smoother, plumper and happier. By the end of the month those differences were noticed by my family members and closest work colleagues. It's safe to say I will be continuing to use this product into the future.

I have thoroughly enjoyed trialling this cleanser. It had been a while between using AHA's and this cleanser started the whole process again beautifully. It's extremely ideal that this cleanser comes presented in a 140 ml pump bottle that can be stored in the shower for both night and day use. Just 3 pumps of cleanser is all I needed to wash my face and neck suitably. I love how the cream froths once emulsified and spreads over my skin. I appreciated the cleansing action, and my skin has felt purified and revitalised from the very first wash. I believe this is a great cleanser for anybody just getting into AHA's for the first time as well as those with a somewhat sensitive skin type. I found no adverse reactions at all over the last month and look forward to continued use.

I work long hours and my skin needed a lift. What did it get? A Super Lift indeed with John Plunkett's SuperLift Face Lift Serum. They say good things come in small packages, and although this pump style bottle may be only 15ml big, it certainly packs enough punch as if it was a big bottle. The texture is light and airy and the colour of the serum is a yellow. The fragrance is minimal and fresh, quite pleasing I will say. The serum which I only used at night after washing and toning fresh out of the shower glides smoothly over my skin and only one pump was needed for both my face and neck. My skin absorbed the serum extremely fast but I felt it needed a few minutes to dry off to lose a slight tacky feeling afterwards. Once that happened my skin felt and looked smoother. I started out by using it only 3 nights a week for the first week and every night for the 2nd week. I'm pretty lucky if I get to feel the sun's rays on my skin for any more than an hour a day with my profession, but I still applied a good sunscreen throughout the day for "just in case" reason's. In a short period of time however I noticed that my skin has become more radiant, softer, smoother, defined and generally happy and healthy. My skin didn't suffer any irritation in this time frame and hopefully with time this will stay the same, as I really adore this product and look forward to using it more to see more awesome results.

I've used quite a few Kiehl's products over the years with mixed results. I did however really enjoy to use their Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum. And quite frankly it all felt a bit fancy. I love the opulence of how this serum is presented. I't's presented in a glass 50ml pump bottle with a gorgeous purple tone, my favourite colour. Is it wrong to say they had me at aesthetics, I hope not. The pump delivers the exact amount of serum for the entire face. I found I needed another pump to include my neck and decolletage and another pump to do the back of my hands.The serum is a yellow in colour, light as air gel cream that soaks into my skin and dries quite quickly. I applied after washing and toning and only applied in the evenings after a shower. I noticed straight away the way it instantly makes my skin feel. it's softer and smoother from the get go. After 2 weeks of use those particular feelings have only gotten stronger. I can feel it delivering the serum to my deeper layers of skin and I feel a sense of a somewhat tightening sensation. I don't get to be out in the sun much in my profession but I still made sure to apply a sunscreen throughout the day. I have noticed my skin feels better, looks better and a little more defined and less sag after the 2 weeks of use. The skin on the back of my hands has dramatically changed I have to say as well. I am very happy that my old lady hands have had a make over and look younger. I look forward to using this product longer to see its long term results.

I am an essential worker who literally has to wash their hands so much and apply sanitiser like its going out of fashion, so when I was given DU'IT's Tough Shield Sanitising Hand Cream, I was completely elated. For those of us who do the hand washing followed by the sanitising what feels like a thousand times a day, and our skin gets so dry from the process, I have now discovered the major game changer for us all. This hand cream comes in 75ml flip top tube which I carry with me everywhere, in my bag then into my pocket so I can keep it on person throughout my shifts. Now it claims that it kills off 99.9% of germs and I'm not a scientist so I'm not going to really elaborate on that claim but I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's a pretty steep claim and I have a feeling a company isn't going to put their name on the line if it wasn't true. The cream itself is a thicker cream that my hands literally soak up every time. I take the cream right up my wrists to where I usually have to wash. I use the cream after every hand wash and sanitise and load it on. My hands feel soft and supple and the scent isn't too bad either. It's not your regular sanitising scent. It's actually a pleasure to pop on and not smell like straight alcohol all day. This cream sinks quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling so I can get back to work as soon as possible after applying. It's also comforting to know that I also have an added extra layer of protection at work where my hands literally touch everything that everybody else touches too. This will definitely be re-purchased when I run out again and again and again.

Being a naturally curly haired girl, I'm always on the look out for products that can help to contain my frizzies with my hair. Being a long time lover of Toni & Guy I just knew that this product was going to be great for not only myself but also for my teenage son who regularly struggles with his very thick curly hair. Presented in a 100ml tube with a flip top lid, is a formulation of amazingness. This product promotes to control frizz and protect against humidity. Now we don't have a lot of humidity going on right now where we live but we definitely have the frizz factor that we could work with. This product goes a long way when using. My son and I have thick hair just past our shoulders, mine by choice, his because well "Mullet", a stylish mullet, but still a mullet. Everyday after damping down our curls, we would use about a 20 cent piece worth and then emulsify it through our hands and onto our hair concentrating more on the ends of our hair and not so much at the roots so we still had volume. After scrunching the product onto our curls, we would then comb it through for even distribution. Do the usual head shake to loosen back out the curls and then wait to see the results. The fragrance of this product isn't too feminine or masculine but a nice light fresh smell that anybody can appreciate. It doesn't linger too long yet our hair always smelled amazing. We let our hair air dry as we're just not too confident and a bit time poor on using a hair dryer on a low setting to really bring out the curl. But what we did see was the frizz really calming down in our hair. Our curls became defined yet soft and bouncy and stayed put for most of the day. We look forward to using this product in the summer to put the humidity protection to good use. We found the product was fairly okay with hydration with the curls staying put but will need to see how it goes more in the summer. All in all a great product that we look forward to using more.

I have been a Bio-Oil Lover for years, but, Bio-Oil Natural Skincare Oil is a new firm fave. I have a few old scars on my arms and hands from gardening namely and hadn't really thought too much about them until this oil came along. As I'm only using this oil on my arms, I'm not going through as much product in each sitting which for a price point is okay with me being that it's a 125ml bottle. The bottle contains a drip dispenser so oils not spilling everywhere. And just a little goes a long way. I use this product after getting out of the shower whilst my skin is still damp after drying off. My skin just sinks this oil up and there's no fragrance to it so it doesn't mix with any other fragrances. Being a see through bottle allows to see easily how much product I've used and how long till I'll need to buy again. Whilst my scars haven't magically disappeared, they have softened and aren't so noticeable so it's clearly working and look forward to continued use.

Being a bit of a flop when it comes to fake lashes and also having old lady 'almost' grey lashes, I opted to try these lashes on a co-worker of mine who adores fake lashes. My lovely co-worker and I set aside an afternoon to apply the Ardell Professional Light As Air Lashes as it was her birthday and she had special dinner plans for the evening so we got to work. These lashes were so easy to use, honestly I don't know why I haven't ever been this confident in putting them on myself. The lashes comes with little tube of glue which I was taught that we put the glue onto the lashes. Not too much yet a little sparingly if you will. I then applied the lashes to my co-worker's lids and got it right first go with a set of tweezers as my help. When her eyes opened I was like "Va Va Voom Darlin" you is smokin hot! She was extremely elated with the volume and the sass that these lashes brought. I was told they are indeed light as air just as guaranteed they would be and lasted beautifully for the entirety of her evening, bringing loads of compliments and confidence as well. She is looking to re purchase again for her next big function.

I rarely looked after the skin on my back now I'm older, and I totally regret that decision. Because now I really look after the skin on my back by regularly exfoliating my skin with the Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber, and really wish I had discovered it sooner. The Manicare Back Scrubber is about a foot long or so with handles on either end to give a little leverage and get to all those hard to reach spaces. I absolutely adore the fact the scrubber is made of recycled products great for exfoliating the skin. It goes the distance and exfoliates my skin very well. My skin concerns I had with my back have been minimised now the skin is getting a proper wash and exfoliate. I use it a couple times a week and let it dry out between usage. Once a fortnight I like to just pop it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle to make sure it stays awesome. I may be a mature lady but I love the way my back skin feels and it takes me back to my younger days. This is definitely a product I will purchase again.
