I was sent this product as part of the trial team. I was already a fan of Dermaveen products as the moisturising lotion is my holy grail for my dry and sensitive skin. It's also really important to me to use fragrance free products. The daily nourish sun sensitive spf 50 with moisturiser is a creamy lotion that is easy to apply and work into the skin with minimal white cast on my medium olive toned skin. Even though it has a high spf rating, it still feels more like a moisturiser with sunscreen than a sunscreen with moisturiser. The texture is creamy and rich but without feeling thick and heavy like a typical sunscreen. It is for this reason, I'm not sure I'd be confident wearing this as my main sunscreen for a day at the beach. I don't know how well it would stay on my skin. For me, the perfect use case is daily protection against incidental sun exposure. I love the benefit of combining skincare with sun protection. Being fragrance free and formulated for sensitive skin are big bonuses. I hope they come out with a facial version!

I bought this along with the hydrating shampoo. The conditioner has a nice natural scent which I like but it doesn't really spread well through my hair. I have pretty dry, damaged ends and this didn't really do anything to make them feel softer or smoother. Not conditioning enough. It might be good for people with normal hair who just want a light conditioner

I always suffered from chronic dry, itchy skin on my upper arms. I decided to switch try this body wash out as doesn't contain and sulfates and I haven't had the dry skin issue since. It has a nice natural, earthy but citrus fragrance that I like and leaves my skin feeling throughly clean without feeling stripped.

I was excited to be offered the Olay Luminous Whip Moisturiser for trial because I have always loved the Total Effects 7 in 1 Night cream. That cream always left my face feeling soft, hydrated and it even helped fade acne scars and smooth out my skin texture. One of my main skin concerns right now is stubborn acne scars that are dark red. The luminous whip promises a brightening effect so I was hoping this would have more of an impact than the 7 in 1 night cream and be better for the daytime since it has a lighter texture and SPF. The texture of the product itself feels pretty cool, it’s sort of like a thick creamy mousse. It’s heavily fragranced so I wouldn’t recommend this for sensitive skin types, including myself as I soon found out. The first day I wore it out, a few hours after application, my eyes were really itchy and red. I kept rubbing them and it wouldn’t go away. It happened again the next day and I realised it was the moisturiser which was really disappointing to me because I wanted to love it. I continued to use it on the rest of my face and just avoided the eye area. Pros: - Lightweight, doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the face - Sun protection - Evened out my complexion - Didn’t break me out Cons - Irritated my eyes (possibly due to fragrance though I never had this issue with the total effects one) - Not good to wear under foundation, made my makeup apply patchy.

I've started using 'ready to use' wax strips for over 10 years, usually using Veet or Nair. In the last 5 years, I switched over to an epilator because it was easier and cheaper in the long run but I found the biggest problem with epilating is it would often break the hairs instead of pulling them out, resulting in ugly ingrowns :( The Marzena large wax strips are as you'd expect (if you used these kind of strips before). There are two strips with a layer of wax between them, you warm up the strips between your hands (or with a hair dryer/straightener/heater if you're lazy) and peel them apart. You apply the strip to the area, press it down and then peel it back, keeping the strip parallel and close to the skin. On the first use, I find the strip is pretty good at getting almost all of the hair. You stick them back together and repeat the heating and peeling process to reuse them. After the second and third applications, the wax isn't as sticky and can't grab as much hair. My leg hairs are pretty fine and sparse so it's hard for the wax to grip them when it's not as sticky any more. I can reuse each strip about 4-5 times before disposing of it. I find these work just as good as any other ready to use wax strip on the market.

I love using beauty wipes post gym and when I'm not wearing heavy makeup. While I prefer nicely fragranced ones because they feel better to use, I've been looking for gentler options for my sensitive, acne prone skin. The packaging is similar to most standard beauty wipes but I like that the resealable cover is a firmer plastic so it stays sealed better and less likely to open up when in my bag. The wipe itself is pretty soft, not too rough or abrasive and holds a lot of moisture which is great. Nothing worse than a wipe that is too dry and doesn't cleanse as well as it should. What intrigued me the most about these wipes is that they only contain water and a citrus extract.I figured I could just use plain water, does the fruit extract do anything? How much is there? Despite the extremely minimal ingredient list, they feel really nice to use, don't sting my eyes or irritate my skin. My skin is left feeling refreshed and not stripped.

I've been an avid user for sheet masks for some time now. I love how they force me to have some relaxation time and I love how skin usually feels so plump and hydrated afterwards. The serums are worth their weight in gold and I always use the leftovers either the day after on my face or on my body. When it came to the Simple Purifying Charcoal Sheet mask, I was surprised to see no real claims on the packaging on its benefits. I tend to go for masks with ingredients to help soothe and calm acne or hydrate dull skin. This doesn't appear to have any targeted claims. I applied the sheet to my face, I really liked the black sheet. It just looks cool and is something different. It also wasn't heavily fragranced. I've never had a reaction to fragranced masks and I actually look forward to the scent but this one felt really bland. This could be considered a good thing for people who are sensitive to fragrance. I took the mask off after 20 minutes and rubbed in the rest of the serum. My skin felt hydrated as expected but the result was overall underwhelming. It wasn't anything amazing and I didn't even feel it was worth using the leftovers. Unfortunately, this mask didn't do anything for my skin and it's not something I would purchase or recommend.

The packaging kind of resembles that of plant food which is pretty unique. The bottom half of my hair is dry, frizzy and gets easily tangled so I’m always looking for products to help smooth the ends of my hair and make it more manageable. The product is a thick, creamy consistency, similar to most other hair masks and it’s very easy to work through the hair. I was expecting it to smell like banana lollies but to me personally, it smells a bit more like fruity cough syrup and the fragrance is pretty strong. It lingers in your hair even after it’s dry but I don’t mind the scent at all. You can use it as a conditioner, mask or leave in treatment, I prefer it as a mask. I think it’s nice and light as a mask, too heavy as a conditioner or leave in for my thin, fine hair. As a mask, it helps my hair to dry smoother, straighter and easier to brush through so I’m really happy with this product!

I trialled the Supreme Length Conditioner in conjunction with the Supreme Length Shampoo. It has the same fresh fruity scent that I love and is the perfect consistency to apply throughout my hair. I have long hair that reached just below my chest but I’ve always wanted to grow it longer. I’m also growing out bleached hair from a few years ago so the top half of my hair is virgin, but the bottom half is porous, dry and prone to tangles. However, I don’t really get breakage or split ends. It usually leave it in for just a minute and rinse it out but I felt like I needed to leave it in longer because it was on the lighter side. It rinsed out really easily but after my hair was dry (air dried), the ends felt stiff and straw-like. It wasn’t nourishing enough for the bottom half of my hair, especially after using the shampoo. I think this could still work well for anyone with virgin/relatively healthy hair who wants a light conditioner. If you’re looking for a repairing conditioner, I really like the Schwarzkopf Fibre Therapy one in the purple bottle.

I’ve had great experience with Schwarzkopf products in the past, in particular, the Fibre Therapy range worked really well for my hair. I was excited when I first heard about this new range because it sounded perfect for me. I have oily roots, dry/dead ends and my hair just doesn’t seem to grow past a certain length. I don’t really suffer from much breakage or many split ends but I do want my hair longer. Starting with what I love about the shampoo. The fresh, fruity scent is awesome and it left my hair feeling really clean and refreshed without stripping it dry. My scalp didn’t feel tight or itchy afterwards. The downside is, I think it’s too harsh for the bottom section of my hair which is bleach and dye damaged. The bottom half felt stiff and straw like after a few uses. I think this shampoo is best suited for people with virgin hair rather than coloured/damaged hair.
