I am an avid Batiste dry shampoo user - I've loved all of them, so I figured the "Volume" one would be just as good - my god is it not. I have begrudgingly used this up, because it's not cheap - but I'll never buy it again. First the basics; there's no strong smell to this one that I noticed, and the packaging and application is convenient as with all their dry shampoos. However the product itself was insanely disappointing. It did not at all bring volume to my roots - I have fine, straight hair. If there was an occasional slight 'lift', it was because the product was so 'crusty' feeling it gave my hair an odd kink in a weird place. No consistent volumizing result at all. Additionally, it's insanely drying - much more so than their usual dry shampoos - and it travels way more, too. About a day later, all this dry shampoo it gone from my soft-again roots and has crawled into my already dry ends, making my hair feel even more crispy than ever. Not great at all. I've never had that problem with any of their other dry shampoos. Perhaps I have the wrong hair type for this product, but my hair is "flat, fine and limp" like the description suggests it would be to use this. But this gives a texture that's impossible to control, and makes my hair feel awful. I'm not purchasing this again. Back to their normal dry shampoos.

I've been using oil cleansers for years - starting with an oil cleanse on dry skin and makeup is a really great, hydrating, gentle way to cleanse your face really thoroughly. I have used many brands, but I have never used an oil cleanser that foams before, and have to stress this is not "an oil cleanser". This is a foaming cleanser with oil. I can see how this cleanser would be particularly neat for people with very dry skin, particularly who wear minimal makeup - since once the oil starts foaming (which is right away) it no longer breaks down the makeup the way oil normally does. This is for very particular needs, and not a run of the mill product. I'm disappointed that it isn't marketed better, to be honest - I would have never bought it if it wasn't marketed as an "oil cleanser". I would only recommend this for the above very specific skin type and needs.

I was silly and bought this polish in 3 colours, trusting that Sally Hansen is a quality brand and has never let me down before - but unfortunately I was let down. I have been using this polish for over a year now, trying to get through the multiple bottles I bought, but I've never learned to love or even like it. It all boils down to the main issue; the consistency. The very wide brush is inconvenient, but would be fine if the polish consistency was less blotchy and sticky, because it wouldn't matter if you go over the same area twice. But unfortunately the polish is indeed blotchy and sticky. It is thoroughly and entirely impossible to put on a thin layer of this polish because the product will 'stick to itself" and create extremely uneven results, causing you to have areas with really thin and really thick polish and no way to even it out without shifting it in a messy way. And then comes the drying... which, once the product has pooled and stuck on thickly with no way to shift it, takes HOURS. I always let my polish dry for an hour before doing anything, including adding layers, but with this one even after an our if you so much as look at the polish too long it dents and bumps in the thick areas and you have to remove and start all over. Such a shame, because the colours are pretty. I don't even know if this stays on all that long because I always end up having to remove it because it ended up so uneven and still soft and movable by the time I want to put on another layer.

You get a lot of product for the money, and the product smells really good - the packaging is relatively convenient, though dispensing via pump can be a little difficult to control. I have tried a number of hair removal creams side by side recently and this was by far the best one. All the hair was gone, not a single one left, and it all came out extremely easily and gently (and my hairs are incredibly stubborn!). My skin felt soft and pleasant after use for 3 days - it feels like a clean shave minus the stubbles. I definitely recommend this product!

I have been testing different hair removal creams side by side to see which one works best for me. I've used this on one leg opposite two other brands, and this had the poorest result each time; patches of hair left behind, even after the maximum time, and instructions followed. That said, it did remove 70% of the hair, and left my skin feeling soft for a few days. It's not BAD - there is just better out there for less money. The packaging is very beautiful (I LOVE the look) and very convenient - I find a tube like this so much more convenient than a pump, it is far easier to control how much product comes out and how.

If this had been marketed as a "light moisturizer", that would have been helpful - and I wouldn't have bought it because that's not what I'm looking for. The moisturizer is incredibly runny, almost liquid, and just does very little for my skin. I can see this being ideal for people without specific skin concerns that need addressing, who just want to moisturize for the sake of it. But for me - I've been using it for a month and it's done nothing for my skin. It absorbs fairly quickly because it's so light weight, but also leaves the skin feeling almost sticky, not soft. I'm all about using up products I buy, but I'm 'moving' this one to the body and not using it for my face again - it doesn't pay off the 'annoyance' of having to apply it so clumsily because it runs everywhere.

I'm torn about these pore strips - when I take them off, I can see the gunk... I see they surely must have done something. But the huge pores on my nose look *exactly* the same. I've used it twice over the past week and there's just no visible effect. So I'm wondering... what is it good for/doing? Is this a really, really long term thing where if you do it once a week for a year, you see a slight difference? And if so; are there also "side effects" that should be weighed in in that case? Does putting adhesive on the skin and then peeling it off also cause damage? I'm just very used to skincare where it says "after x amount of uses over x period, you will see x" - this just says that if you use it weekly, the appearance of clogged pores "will diminish". Should the result be easily visible? How long does it need to be used weekly before you should see an effect? I will give it 3 stars trusting that the gunk I see on the strips means it's doing something... but at this stage I don't feel compelled to keep purchasing these myself.

This brush has been a game changer for me! Most of my hair is very fine and a little dry... so it takes, like, *nothing* to get static hair or frizz, for me. It's such a pain, especially in winter. Ever since I started using this brush (which looks beautiful and high quality, by the way) I have no had static hair once and my frizz combined with the products I've always used has actually been tamed; not sure what did it, but I'll take it! I brush very gently, which I would recommend with these very solid bristles, but if you are someone who also takes very specific and careful care of their hair, using this brush properly should be a breeze. The very best effect has been on my scalp. I never thought this was possible; but I can actually feel less tension in my roots. With my hair being coloured and at times brittle, if I don't look after my scalp, it grows funny or stays very brittle. This feels like it has legitimately loosened up the tension in my scalp and my hair feels more 'relaxed' somehow. I'll be using this brush for a long time!

So far, Glow Lab products have been very hit-or-miss for me; this would have been a hit if it had SPF in it. I find myself in the pickle where I have oily skin, but I also want to wear SPF; my safest bet to not end up looking like a bowling ball is using a moisturizer WITH SPF, as opposed to using moisturizer and THEN SPF (which is guaranteed to make me shiny, and not in a good way). This moisturizer was actually perfect for me in every way - it absorbed quickly, left my skin hydrated but still looking fairly matte and even for the part of the day where it matters; it is rare for me to find moisturizers that don't leave any shine after and I LOVED that about this moisturizer. But without the SPF, it's just not practical for me to use. I would love it if Glow Lab adjusted this product and formula to also include SPF. I would be hooked. I also really love the packaging of this product; tubes have my preference by far, no product goes to waste, it's easy to dispense and control how much you use, and the packaging design is classy and pretty. I will definitely keep an eye out for Glow Lab's future moisturizer releases, keeping my fingers crossed for one with sun protection, because this formula is very promising for me.

It's definitely an effective product. I've been applying this to my hands after cleaning and gardening; you only need the tiniest amount and it definitely moisturizes your hands very effectively without leaving them too slippery (unless you over-apply). However. The packaging is SUCH a huge drawback for me. I'm sorry, I know it's probably vain. But I take really great pride in my home and things, and I like to create a "feel" in areas in my house; I want my bathroom to look and feel as much like a spa as possible, my laundry room to feel like a calm, organized, soothing area... and this packaging just looks weirdly aggressive and out of place. It looks like it should be in my garage on the shelf next to the big bottle of superglue and the WD-40. I really don't know what they were thinking - unless they are deliberately marketing towards DYIers and/or people who are hesitant to use creams that look like creams... I don't get it. There are other ways to design packaging to not be frilly/girly and still not look like I have a tube of WD 40 sitting on my bathroom sink. And yes -it does make me put the product away where I can't see it... which makes me forget I have it, and use it less, even though it's so effective. For me, if I spend money on a "beautifying" product, I want it to fit my space or at least be neutral in my space - unless it is such a miracle worker that I want to have it out at the cost of sticking out like a sore thumb (no pun intended). There are simply other creams who do just as well or almost as well that I find more visually appealing. I've given the product 3 stars because it really is a good cream. I just can't in good conscience give it more when I personally find the packaging offputting.
