Used both on wet and dry hair and felt that it worked slightly better on dry hair but perhaps had more time to penetrate my scalp. The comb was good to remove dandruff and product build up but was a little awkward to dispense the product as you had to press down quite hard on your scalp. It worked well to remove dandruff, product build up and to exfoliate the scalp. As someone who has to wash their hair daily, it extended the time between washes to 2.5 days with a good blow dry. It made my hair feel light, soft, smooth and weightless. It was a nice afterwash sensation to have that weightlessness feeling on my scalp and it felt clean and airy. It also helped with a dry patch that could be itchy on my scalp and irratating. I am looking forward to using this once a week to remove product build up and dandruff, and extend the life of my blow dry - one less thing to worry about!

Gentle and effective shower and bath gel. Lovely, gentle scent and kind to the skin. I have fairly dry skin and this contains sweet almond so it doesn't dry out the skin but keeps it soft, supple and retains moisture. Lathers well and a little bit of product goes a long way. Love the bottle as it looks expensive sitting on the shelf and nice in the bathroom. The moisturiser in this Wellness range is lovely as well as is the handcream with SPF in it. I've purchased this numerous times and it's a favourite - especially when I want to spoil and pamper myself

I have rosacea and dry skin so I was very excited to trial the Sukin Skin Relief. It comes in a handy pump pack which is a very hygenic and welcome addition to the Sukin range. The texture of the moisturiser is more a lotion then a cream, which allows it to spread easily and generously. It is fragrance, paraben, and silicone free which is great for sensitive skin and non-irritating. It helped to improve the tone and texture of my skin, reducing the redness and dehydration I get. It did reduce the tightness I get across my forehead when it is dry, so it is effective, my skin just cries out for more. It contains antioxidents and prebiotics so it's great to protect and strengthen the skin barrier long term. I would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive, dry, or dehydated skin

I use La Roache-Posay regularly for my dry, sensative and rosacea prone skin, so I was very excited to be a part of the BH trial team to try this little one out. The texture is quite thick and runny so the packaging, although consistent with the serum range, doesn't do it much justice. A pump pack would be better for application for this. It is quite smooth, spreads easily and readily absorbed. It is good as a final step and also (unintentionally) acts well as a primer as it's silicone based. So it's important to be aware that you would need to use your water based serums before this one. It is effective and hydrating. It worked well with my dry skin and reduced the redness I get from dehydrated and dry skin. It also repaired and maintained my skin barrier well. Quite effective after a chemical peel or to calm the skin after AHA's. Overall, this is a good little serum for their line although it also crosses over with some of their other products and the price point does seem quite high. Although I enjoyed using this and was satisfied about the results, I'm not sure I would purchase this going forward or an alternative due to the price point

The Aveeno Hand Cream has no synthetic fragrances and full of calming ingredients for dry and irritated skin. It comes in a handy, upright squeeze tube with a handy flip lid, and has a thick texture which lasts for a while. It takes a while to absorb into the skin because it is so thick and it leaves a 'film' on the skin to lock in all the moisture. It can take a little while to get used to this and the feeling does remain even after hand washing, as it claims on the tube. It helped to soften the dry, dehydrated cuticles on my hands and keep my skin soft and moisturised. Overall, it's a good hand cream however not my favourite.

I was fortunate enough to trial this for the Beauty Heaven Trial Team. The Aveeno skin relief moisturising lotion left my skin feeling soft and silky smooth. This was mostly as it acted as almost a 'barrier cream' that created a film on top of the skin to lock in all the moisture. So, yes it does what it says it will but not quite as you might expect. Don't get me wrong, it was soft and silky to the touch and my skin still felt hydrated after the 24hrs claim wore off however it never quite sank into my skin like a traditional moisturiser. It comes in a sturdy pump pack and the viscousity is quite thick. I could even hold it in my hand and turn it upside down without fear of it dropping or running off. It takes a while for it to absorb into the skin and still feels like it's sitting on top after a long while. This is great if you have time to luxuriate as it sinks in but not so good if you're often in a hurry like I am. I do like it and the effects, some might not and I can understand why, I just don't have the time to wait around for it to work so I'm detracting a star for that reason. It did stop my skin from itching on my legs when it got too dry and it was very effective at that. My husband also loved running his hands over my "silky" legs!

I trialled this by itself and it was ok. I trialled it in conjunction with the moisturiser and it was great. It didn't solve my dry and itchy skin when used by itself but with the moisturiser it really helped to lock in the moisture. On the plus side, it didn't dry out my skin but it didn't really do that much for it when used by itself. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either, sitting somewhere in the middle for me and on par with other comparable body washes.

I have been a great lover of facial oils for many years now. They are hydrating and soothing for my sensitive and dry skin. I branched out recently and tried the Kiehl's Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate. Sadly it was not for me. My skin had a reaction to it and it exasperated the redness and sensitivity, rather then soothing it. I have also smelt much nicer face oils then this one. It was quite overpowering and a really earthy, cannabis smell. This is probably more suited to normal skin rather then sensitive ones.

The QV Face Hydrate and Renew Serum is a light, easily absorbed serum specially formed for sensitive skin. It contains niacinamide which is for hydrating the skin and forming a protective barrier against aggressors, and vitamin B3 and vitamin E both of which help to restore and strengthen the skin. Vitamin B3 (Panthenol) also has the added benefit of aiding hydration and absorption of your skin. So, I was very excited when I was offered the chance to trial and review this product. I have previously used a version of niacinamide that is 5x the price. This one is much more affordable and is also just as effective with the benefit of some extra ingredients. The packaging is lovely and the pump is much more appealing then a dropper. One pump is the perfect amount to cover my face and my neck generously. The serum is light and readily absorbs into my skin. My skin was left feeling plump, hydrated and over time has reduced the appearance of wrinkles, particularly around my eyes. It reduced the redness that I get from Rosacea and left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I love that this is Australian owned and made and a much more affordable option then others on the market. I will gladly replace my more expensive serum (and my vitamin E serum) with this little workhorse serum

I've been using the Pure Color Envy Nighttime Rescue Lip Oil-Serum for over a year now, and have just repurchased because I've been so impressed with the results. I have dry and sensitive skin and I have gotten chapped lips for as long as I can remember in all seasons. I've spent the last two decades trying all sorts of lip balms, glosses, oils, potions and lotions trying to find that elusive 'unicorn' product. One that won't dry out my lips if I forget to reapply, and one that will actually moisturise, repair and protect the delicate layers of my lips. This lip oil-serum contains hyaluronic acid which is a powerhouse hydration agent and nourishing oils like rose and jojoba. It leaves my lips smooth, soft and deeply hydrated.
