The Glowlab facial moisturiser comes in a convenient squeeze tube with cute detailed packaging. It is easy to open the cap and dispense the product in your hand and the 100ml will last you a long time. The texture of the moisturiser was on the lighter side which i enjoy applying underneath my work makeup for the day. It was quick to absorb which was exactly what I was looking for. It had a pleasant scent that was not overpowering, and my makeup applied perfectly over the top, there was no residue or build up. Throughout the day my skin did start to look oily however that is just my skin in general, nothing some setting powder cant fix. There are some excellent ingredients in this moisturiser including Macadamia and Rose Hip seed oil which will benefit the skin short term as well as long term. This moisturiser is extremely affordable so I believe it is a great buy, especially for those who prefer a lighter daily moisturiser.

The Dermal Therapy Sensitive skin lotion comes in no bells and whistles packaging which is great for all family members, and has an easy to dispense pump attachment. I found the moisturiser lightweight and easily absorbed quickly into my skin. I applied on my face neck and chest and did not feel tacky or have any residue after applying. I tend to lean towards heavier moisturisers with fragrance however I think a fragrance free moisturiser such as this should be a household staple. I am very fortunate not to have sensitive skin however my husband has very sensitive skin prone to eczema so I was particularly looking forward to hearing his thoughts on this moisturiser. He noticed his nose was less irritated each day he used this moisturiser, liked the easy to dispense pump and that it had no fragrance. This will become a new daily staple product for him.

I have used the Biore pore strips many times in the past however I was excited to try again having experience bad congestion recently, particularly on my nose and cheeks. These deep cleansing pore strips come in an easy to store cardboard box, and the limited edition design was super cute. After showering and steaming my face i applied some more water to my clan nose and took of the plastic protector before applying and smoothing the strip down. I left the strip on my nose for a goof 20-30 minutes while doing odd jobs around the house, you can feel it starting to dry and its exciting knowing you can pull it off so quickly! Once completely dried I slowly started pulling at the edges to get the strip off, ensuring not to pull too fast. It is very satisfying afterwards to see what the strip pulled out, some black heads were clearly visible on the strip, my nose also felt extremely smooth. I found after a couple of days my nose was looking just as congested as before. I find myself personally that these strips are more of a quick fix that i could use before an event or special occasion and aren't a long term solution for enlarged pores and congestion. They are definitely a fun product and can see myself taking them along to a girls night!

The Natural glow gradual and firming daily moisturiser in fair to medium comes in a golden squeeze tube with an easy open cap. The first thing i noticed about this moisturiser was the nice floral scent. I personally really like the fragrance however if you prefer unscented products this moisturiser may not be for you. The product itself was white and thick in consistency, it was extremely easy to get out of the tube and it was not runny giving you lots of control in terms of applying the product. I applied the moisturiser to my legs arms and chest, and found the moisturiser quick and easy to apply. I was able to get dressed almost immediately and did not find myself feeling sticky of tacky at all, i was impressed with how quick it absorbed! I normally get nervous using any sort of tanning moisturisers as I have woken up in the past with orange patches around my ankles and hands. I did not notice any patches using this moisturiser and instead noticed on the 3rd day I was beginning to achieve a very natural glow in my skin. If you want to ease yourself into the world of tanning moisturises, this product is great!

This lipbalm came in a convenient sized tube and a easy to use applicator. I like the applicator as it avoids applying the lipbalm with your fingers keeping it hygienic. I also like that this lip balm is from an Australian company so I was looking forward to testing out the balm as I often have multiple lip balms on rotation. I kept the balm on my work desk and applied 5-6 times throughout the day as my lips get dry easily working in air conditioning all day. I found the product spread easily on my lips and instantly made them feel hydrated and more plump. The texture was a little thicker than what I prefer in a lip balm however due to this it did last longer on the lips. This lip balm is very affordable and would be a great staple balm to keep in your handbag. Will continue to use!

This hand cream is an excellent product! We have had multiple tubes of this hand cream in the bathroom on rotation over the last few years as they have been particular helpful in restoring the moisture in my husband hands. He was up until recently working in a warehouse and would come home with hands so dry they would be almost cracking, the relief that the tough hands would provide would be almost instant, his hands would feel softer and smooth and after repetitive use all dryness would be gone. He was also a big fan of the product being fragrance free and loves that it’s available in travel sizes. I myself have also used the ‘feminine’ version in the pink packaging and found the cream absorbed easily, reduced dryness and worked just as well as the fragrance free version. Definitley recommend keeping a tube of two of this in your draw!

I have never tried a brush targeted towards use on the scalp so I was excited to try this product. On first impressions I really loved the quality finish and packaging of this brush, the handle feels really luxurious and has a decent weight to it. This brush definitley feels as if it will last a long time and the rust-resistant metal pins plus an ultra-flexible cushion pad is worth spending a little more money on. I was excited to try the brush for the first time especially on my scalp. The pins felt very nice and not too rough, and I hope with continued daily use it will improve scalp health and healthy oils being distributed. The brush pulled through my long hair easily and didn’t tug. After brushing my hair felt smooth and shiny, and it was easy to pull out any snagged hairs out of the brush. I look forward to making this a new daily addition to my hair routine.

I absolutely love the John Plunketts Glyco peel, however I have not used it in years. I still had big expectations for this skin brightener knowing how great the brands other products are. And let me tell you it did not disappoint! I had a family event coming up and started using this product 5 days beforehand, I had under the skin bumps brewing, congestion and overall dull looking skin. I used one pump a night on my freshly washed skin, you feel a slight tingling sensation but nothing overbearing. I actually noticed a difference in my skin after just one use - my bumps had reduced and were no longer painful, my texture had already decreased and my skin was looking fresher. Just after one use!! Made me regret ever stop using John Plunketts in the first place. I will definitely be repurchasing this product (did I mention the RRP is only $29.95?!) just fantastic!!

Being on the fair side myself I have tried many sunscreens over the years so was particularly excited to trial the Nivea Sun Protect & Moisture Moisturising Sunscreen Lotion. On first impressions i liked Nivea's iconic blue and yellow branding and was curious about the trigger application. On first use i noticed the sunscreen doesn't come out as a spray, but more of a blob of product. I dont mind this as i feel it would prevent wasted product but still makes it easy to disperse the sunscreen. I applied generously to my arms and legs before a hike and it absorbed quickly. I did not apply to my face due to already wearing makeup however my husband did and commented that his face did not feel greasy after applying. I unfortunately did not test out the water resistance due to being winter in Queensland however my husband and i came out of the 4 hour hike without any sunburn or redness. Overall a great everyday sunscreen that we will continue to use!

I was very intrigued by the Olay water activated dry cloths as sometimes I find a regular makeup wipe doesn’t remove heavy makeup. The Olay water activated dry cloths come in a cardboard box with a plastic packet inside containing the dry cloths. The cloths are covered in textured blue dots on one side for exfoliating the skin. To ‘activate’ the dry cloths you simple run under water and rub in your hands, and they begin to foam up. I found one cloth enough to remove my makeup inscluding mascara, and once removed you can rinse the cloth again to use as a final wipe over to remove the soap and makeup from your face. What I found most impressive about this product is that it effectively removed my eye makeup with out irritation, something I struggle with using normal makeup wipes. After using I would towel dry my face and found my skin free from makeup and feeling cleansed but not dry which is great! Overall I think these cloths are really convenient for fast makeup removable and would especially be great while travelling. For me it would be even better if they were able to be used more than once, as I tend to stay away from one use products, but I would still use from time to time after a late night out or whilst travelling.
