I am obsessed with the colour purple - I own lots of purple eye shadows and eyeliners, but this one is my absolute favourite. Whenever I want to wear purple on my eyes, I reach for this. This pencil creates the most beautiful dark purple line with a metallic finish (seriously, go look at the swatches or test it out in store, it will draw you in!). When I first bought this, I was a little disappointed to see that it is a plastic pencil because all of my previous plastic pencils have gotten destroyed in sharpeners. However, this one actually sharpens really nicely (in my matching purple sharpener by Essence). I can't fault this eyeliner, it is one of the best that i've ever used. I have oily skin but this eye liner doesn't budge without makeup remover. I hope that I never run out, it is my favourite eye liner! It is definitely not a budget buy but it is worth every dollar.

These are great for travel but aren't designed to last very long. They're easy to squeeze and relatively easy to clean. They come with stickable labels for easy identification (and they can be removed and reused too). My one complaint is with the lids. After using them for 2 or 3 trips (where I would use them, clean them, refill, and repeat), the caps would wear down and when I go to screw them back on - crack! Completely broken. The tubes themselves last forever but the lids certainly don't. I started out with 6 tubes and now i'm down to only 2. I find that even being extra careful to not apply too much pressure doesn't help. Additionally, if they're dropped in the shower, the lids will nearly always break. Please improve the lids and I will buy them again!

I used these to create red tips over matte black nail polish and it turned out really well! Each pack contains 20 tip guides (so enough for 2 applications) and some ends that can be used too if you're crafty. I found them easy to apply, and while some of the ends lifted after being on my nails for about 30 minutes, it certainly didn't mess up my polish. When removed, they left clean lines, however some did rip off a little bit of the tips on some nails. I found that I had a little bit of residue left on one nail but it came off with a little bit of rubbing (after the tips had fuly dried). For best results I recommend waiting several hours after painting your base to do the tips so that the base is completely dry and won't get messed up from the sticky tip guides. Also, don't remove the tip guides until the tips are definitely dry (I waited an hour). Although a tiny bit of the tips came off with the guides, I could easily touch it up. They would be perfect if they didn't rip off part of the tips when removed though. I love the results (and I got lots of compliments)!

I always use this to trim my toe nails (because they're tiny and regular toe nail clippers are too big) and I really appreciate the extra tools on it. It cuts well, and the end of the handle (for lack of a better term) is great at cleaning underneath nails. The nail file is also useful for smoothing edges - it's an all in one tool. It lasts forever and you'll only ever have to replace it if you lose it. Money well spent.

I quite like this top coat because it dries fast, leaves a nice glossy finish, and protects my manicure pretty well (not the best, but I buy it because it's readily available). Compared to other brands available in chemists/department stores (excluding Myer/DJs) i've found this to be the best. A good buy when it goes on special but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

I really wanted to like these because they look so gorgeous, but they just don't work for me. I am a "reverse puller" because I pull in the opposite direction to hair growth (or at a right angle), I don't follow the eyebrow plucking rules. It's never been a problem with any other brand of tweezers, whether they were Coles, QVS or Revlon, but these ones are too sharp to be able to do this. What this means is that they break off the hair without pulling it out. You might say "well apply less pressure" but if I do this then the hair doesn't get grabbed and slips out. Basically, they sit in a drawer unused, looking pretty.

I bought this specifically to sharpen my Bourjois eyeliner pencil which is plastic (and notoriously difficult to sharpen!). I have destroyed many plastic pencils in regular pencil sharpeners but this is one sharpens perfectly. No more dull eyeliners, no breakages, and no mess - it has an attached plastic catcher for the pencil shavings. Shapens 2 different sizes, easy to clean, very compact, and comes in a wide range of colours. I can't fault this, and it was only $2!

I have been using this shaver for forever. The quatro range gives me the closest shave and I never ever cut myself (which is pretty much a miracle). The handle is comfortable and purple (bonus points for that). The blades are a bit expensive but they're definitely worth it, and you can use any of the quatro range on it, even the men's ones (which are cheaper).

I have the shade called "Let Me Go" and it is this magical teal/purple duochrome. They have to be used to truly be experienced. You can also manipulate the colour depending on whether you wear it on it's own or over different base colours. Sinful colours are super cheap, long lasting, hard wearing and come in a huge range of beautiful colours. They're one of my favourite nail polish brands, I recommend them to everyone that I know. I need to buy more of their pearl shades because they're gorgeous!

I loved how soft this was so bought it on impulse but it was really disappointing. The more that I used it, the dirtier it looked. My makeup stained it every time and no amount of washing could remove it. After a while it developed permanent hard bits in parts of the cloth. The final straw was when I put it back into its protective bag and it became mouldy. All up, I only used it maybe a dozen times. A waste of money, I wouldn't buy it again.
