'Tough hands for her' - sounds nothing at all like what this hand cream actually feels like! It's rich yet blends in quickly, instantly smoothing and nourishing dry old wrinkly hands. It promises visible effects within 1 day, and it's probably not far off that claim. I think I used it for a few days before I really noticed an improvement both in my skin texture and the some of the deeper lines around my wrist and upper part of the top of my hand. With continued use the finer lines appear to be less defined, but generally my hands look more nourished and radiant than ever. I enjoyed this hand cream so much I took it to my writers group and asked them to try it for a day too - they all agreed it was better than anything they were using, including one woman who always had her lo'ccitane cream sitting next to her laptop. So, it's a big yes from 4 of us - They all took photos and ran out to get themselves a tube straight afterwards I'm sure.

As a curly hair girl I have a very specific way of washing, combing (yes combing only!) and styling my hair to make sure it's not frizzy and the curls are defined and bouncy... however, I'm also a busy peri-menopausal woman which means my hair gets pulled back into a slick high pony or bun 80% of the time. In the past I would use water and products to get my hair pulled back along my scalp as smooth as possible BUT from the first moment I ran this smoothing brush through my hair I realised I'd been missing out... The brush instantly smoothed back all my flyaways with no product or effort at all. My mind was blown! The smooth light brush head itself is great quality - a bit sexy even, but it's the bristles that are the real hero. I've been avoiding all brushes thinking they were all just variations of the same cheap supermarket ones, but once you run you hand across these bristles and then run the brush through your hair, you'll know that not all brushes are created equal. A real game changer and life saver for me. I need less product, so less hair washing and my hair looked more polished and natural than ever.

Using a neck and decolletage serum is a new routine for me so remembering to include it in my daily routine was the first hurdle. But the gorgeous purple bottle is quite eye-catching and enticing... The Concentrate has a lovely texture, a delicious fragrance, and goes on so smoothly - it instantly feels like an uplifting sweet treat. I've been using it on and off (when I remember) for 3 -4 and am yet to see any significant results, although I do think the lines around my neck and decolletage do appear like they're not as strong. I will continue to use it as it feels and smells lovely on and hope these slight improvement gradually increase. No reactions or irritations so I'm pretty happy.

The glow lab serum has a nice texture when applying, but did leave my skin feeling dry afterwards, requiring a good moisturiser to get some moisture back. I've been using it for 3 -4 weeks and am yet to notice any visible changes to fine lines, but as it us low irritant, no strong fragrance I'll finish it and see if there are results with longer term use. I've tried different oil and non-oil based serums, and I would say for dry skin the more oil based ones are better for hydration. This glow lab serum feel quite low on the oil ingredients scale and might be better for younger, softer and sensitive skin.

You might wonder why someone with naturally curly hair would need a curling tong right?! Well, as the years have gone by (almost half a century!) my curls have become less defined and more frizzy. As a result I tend to pull my hair back into a bun for almost every occasion. But I desperately want to be able to wear my hair out - like the good old days... Now, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to curling tongs and really need to work on my technique to avoid burning my ears - but I have been thoroughly surprised and impressed the handful of times I have used this Curling Tong so far. Not only does it create well-formed, bouncy curls, it leaves my hair looking AND feeling so smooth and silky. It's like getting a ready good blow dry, just with added curls! It appears that the ceramic coating infused with Coconut & Keratin micro-conditioners really does work. The Curling Tong does get hot pretty fast, so the folding heat protection stand definitely comes in handy. My hair is shorter than it normal (just below my shoulders instead of mid-back) so I'm curious to see how it works on longer hair once it grows. I wonder whether the curls will hold as well as they do now in my shorter hair. In the meantime, I will keep practicing and enjoying these lovely smooth curls - even if I do pull them back into a half-up do or pony tail - they look way better than my boring bun!!

I've only been using the Neutrogena Visible Repair Regenerating Cream for a little over two weeks but I could tell from the very first day that I'd love it. It's got such a lovely rich consistency and blends in so smoothly, leaving your skin literally feeling so plump and hydrated. It also smells great without being too overpowering. While I haven't seen a difference in the crows feet/ lines around my eyes (yet!) - I have noticed all my horizontal forehead lines and frown lines between my eyebrows (glabellar lines) have softened a bit. My skin certainly feels tighter and looks brighter - so hopefully the affects and results will become more visible with time and continued use. As someone who has not used retinol products before, I did not experience any reactions and have been using it daily since I got the cream.

The skin serum I didn't know my 45 year old skin desperately needed - I am hooked! I was skeptical about this little purple bottle. I've tried lots of different beauty and skin products over the years and was always left thinking it wasn't worth the effort or money. But I really loved this serum, and will definitely keep using it. It goes on so smoothly and is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin dewy fresh and instantly lighter and brighter. The serum seemed to just even out my skin tone overall - I only had a few light spots and discolouration. Mostly my dehydrated skin just felt alive and nourished again. I did get some light tingling sensations around my cheeks and forehead the first few days but I think that was just my skin adjusting (I had only been using moisturiser before this) and then it was absolutely fine. I used the serum once a day for the first few weeks ( I wanted to go in slowly and let my skin adjust to the new product) and then started using twice a day. I waited a minute or two and then applied my moisturiser and that combo was just delicious! I kept using the serum until it ran - approx. 10 - 12 weeks - and have ordered more. It's not cheap but I think it's worth it.

I used this ointment for a couple of weeks, applying to the dry skin on my knees, elbows and heels straight after a warm shower or bath. It immediately softened and smoothed my skin and leaves a protective layer like vaseline but not slippy or oily. I also had a dry patch on my right ankle which seems to have cleared up. So, I also tried it on some eczema/ rash areas and it definitely provided symptom relief after using it daily for about 4 days. Found the squeeze tube a little hard to squeeze and use, so will probably try the tub next time. I will definitely keep using it and hope it will continue to provide protection and moisture to my aging skin.

Dry skin is becoming more of an issue as I get older, so I was keen to give this a try. I've been using the Cicaplast Baume B5 Balm mainly on my face, hands, arms, elbows and knees for a couple of weeks now. It's a richer and thicker consistency compared to regular moisturiser but rubs in easily leaving my skin feeling slightly moist/ dewy. It certainly helps with calming down the dryness immediately and for some time after application but it's too soon to see any longer-term improvements or changes. It has almost no fragrance so it won't clash with perfumes and other beauty products, and won't offend sensitive noses. The medium sized squeeze tube is convenient to use, and slips easily into my handbag.
