This is a gorgeous light weight moisturiser that has a very mild, pleasant fragrance. It’s so fresh and reminds me of spring / summer. It’s a little bit minty and very clean smelling, and doesn’t overpower or compete with the fragrance of other products. Of course if you want to layer, there’s a shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the same range and the all smell delightful. The light weight lotion is really absorbed by the skin without leaving a residue, and a little bit goes a long way. It’s a good general purpose moisturiser to maintain a healthy glow, but probably won’t meet your needs if you need intense hydration when your skin is dehydrated.

I picked this up in the second Rewards Room of 2021 mostly for curiosity’s sake, but it won me over very quickly. It does smell intensely pear-like when you open the tube, and I thought this might be overbearing, but once you put a small amount on the brush the scent is much milder. The texture is interesting. It’ not like your ol’ Colgate paste, it’s much denser and looks slightly grainy (although it doesn’t feel it in your mouth). It’s a nice, natural-looking, pale cream colour, which is most definitely a welcome change to fake bright white. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of taste so braced myself for it to be very sweet, but was pleasantly surprised – there’s barely any taste at all. What’s more, you can eat/drink immediately and the flavour won’t be affected (no more cringing when drinking OJ after cleaning teeth). It has a minimal frothing factor, so be prepared for that. But it does as good a job (maybe even better) than commercial toothpastes with all the added unnatural stuff. Definitely a winner.

Another successful pick up in the second Rewards Room for 2021. I’ve used the pink Bioderma micellar water before and I think this one is better. It has barely any discernible aroma, which is fab for those of us with scentsitive noses and skin. It’s gentle on the skin and the eyes (which is obviously helpful if you happen to be using it to remove eye makeup). It leaves no residue on the skin and your skin feels clean and moisturised after use. It doesn’t leave skin feeling squeaky or tight like some micellar waters can. It removes makeup easily, although you may need multiple passes if you have a full face on.

I’m so glad I grabbed this in the 2nd 2021 Rewards Room. I admit I left it in my hair for longer than 10 seconds, but my hair loved it. Before I used it my hair was looking a bit brittle and dry, particularly at the ends, and totally lacklustre. Afterwards, my hair was feeling soft, manageable and super shiny, and all signs of rattiness gone from the ends. I was at the hairdresser three days later and she remarked several times when I arrived (while we were talking through what I was getting done) at how shiny and healthy my hair looked, despite having been bleached and coloured magenta. It’s very runny, so while the instructions say to put it in your hands, I suggest applying straight into hair so you don’t lose any. It has a mild, pleasant scent when applied, but this washes away and there is no discernible aroma left in your hair after using, so it won’t compete with the scents of your other hair products. It warns that you will probably get a tingling sensation on your scalp, and I must admit I was a bit worried about this, but it was barely noticeable and my sensitive scalp had no issues. I will definitely buy this product again when I’m done with this bottle – although it will last for a while, which is also a plus.

Thanks for the opportunity to test this spray as part of Natural Beauty Month. I don’t wear foundation, so didn’t test the ‘setting’ factor, but I really like the spray as a ‘spritzer’ It’s refreshing, cooling, very lightweight and leaves your skin feel hydrated. There’s a very faint, fresh scent, which adds to the refreshing feeling of the spray. It should be ok for people with scentsitive noses, but of course it’s always worth sniffing before purchase if you fall into this category. It dries quickly and has a matte finish, which I like. I’ve never been one for the ‘dewy’ look. I’m not sure the natural actives had any real effect on my skin over the short period I trialled it, but longer term they may deliver benefits. It’s a good sized little spray bottle for carrying in your handbag, but I’d like if they also offered it as a ‘refill’ product in a larger size, without the pump spray mechanism to cut down on waste.

Thanks for the opportunity to test this primer as part of Natural Beauty Month, it is now part of my regular regime. I don’t wear makeup, so can’t comment on its effectiveness as a makeup base, but it’s great as a mattifying, smoothing ‘finisher’ for my face. It is a light lotion and a small amount goes a long way. It absorbs fairly well, by necessity leaving a light film on the surface of the skin, but it doesn’t feel heavy or ‘clogging’ like some other primers I’ve used. It leaves skin looking very smooth and matte. It has no discernible scent, which is a plus for me. It has a long-lasting, cooling effect on skin, which was unexpected but very welcome on my sensitive skin. I expect that cooling effect is also what helps reduce redness, which is also very welcome. I think this is probably due to some of the natural actives in the formula, but I have no idea which ones, or maybe it’s a combination of all of them—whatever it is, the effects are pleasant.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to try this balm as part of Natural Beauty Month. I never would have tried it otherwise and never would have known what I was missing. This is an absolutely brilliant product. It has an instant result, moisturising dry heels and toes, and reducing roughness upon first use. After using it a couple of times a day for a few days, then twice a week for two weeks, my feet look and feel fantastic—they are no longer dry or rough. It’s a rich lotion, with a lovely fresh scent. Like most heal balms there is urea in the formulation, unlike most heal balms you can’t smell it! It absorbs relatively quickly, which is important so you can walk again fairly soon after applying the lotion. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. If you’ve tried heal/foot treatments before and not liked them, you need to give this one a go.

Thanks for the opportunity to test this as part of Natural Beauty Month, it turns out this isn’t the product for me, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a decent moisturiser. I struggled with the geranium scent, which is literally the last ingredient listed in the ingredients list but even at minute quantities this essential oil gives me a headache. As a result of that reaction I only tried this moisturiser twice. It’s a lightweight, lotion moisturiser, and you only need a small amount to get good coverage. It didn’t absorb as quickly or as well as I would like, leaving a slightly sticky residue on the skin. I have very sensitive skin on my face and had no reaction to this moisturiser, so while that’s no guarantee for others with sensitivity it’s certainly a promising sign. I’m not sure that I noticed any difference in the moisture/hydration levels of my skin compared with my regular moisturiser, so can’t really say if it lives up to the ‘24h hydrating’ claim.

I really appreciate the opportunity to test this product as part of Natural Beauty Month, however feel that just over two weeks is not enough to judge its efficacy* so can only comment on its immediate feel on the skin, etc. Certainly in the two weeks I was trialling it I didn’t see any noticeable changes in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation or elasticity, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that over a longer period it wouldn’t deliver on this promise. I have very sensitive skin on my face and had no reaction to this oil, so while that’s no guarantee for others with sensitivity it’s certainly a promising sign. It has a faint floral scent that dissipates fairly quickly. The oil absorbs relatively quickly into the skin, probably about 15 minutes or so, and the skin feels quite smooth once it has absorbed. I feel the marketing/positioning of this product is a bit misleading in its use of Retinol in the product name. It includes an asterisk that then goes on to explain that it doesn’t contain Retinol, but a natural alternative called Bakuchiol, but I feel that it puts too much onus on the consumer to read the ‘fine print’ to make an informed decision. I feel that Bakuchiol should be in the product name and any asterisk would then guide people to the explanation that that is a natural alternative to Retinol. Thanks for the opportunity to test this lip gloss as part of Natural Beauty Month, as I would normally use a lip balm but not use a lip gloss. I normally steer clear of lip gloss because I find them to be sticky/tacky, but pleasantly this gloss broke the mould on that front. It applies very smoothly from a little squeeze tube which allows you to control how much is applied. The angled tip on the tube spreads the gloss on your lips and the gloss itself is very smooth and glides on easily. It has no scent or flavour, which I see as a plus, but I know some people prefer their lip gloss with those attributes. I received the colour ‘pucker’ (shade 050) which appears to be a deep pinky red. I was hoping that this would result in a nice rich tint when applied, however was disappointed with the lack of colour on my lips. I was a bit surprised at this because Burt’s Bees tinted lip balms I’ve used in the past actually tend to have a decent amount colour. So my overall assessment is that it’s a decent lip gloss, but it’s not enough to make me switch from my current lip balm.
