The Avene Hyaluron activ B3 serum comes in a very attractive dropper bottle. I like the glass and simple classy design it feels and looks well-made and elegant. I like the dropper application as it is clean and fuss-free. The serum is fragrance-free which I love. The serum itself feels very thick to the touch but spreads out quickly and evenly and absorbs very quickly. I have very sensitive skin and unexpectedly got a little stinging on my cheeks from this. Apart from the slight stinging on that one part of my face, I enjoyed the serum. I used it on my face neck and decollate and was immediately hydrated and my skin felt plump and smooth. I am a big fan of these ingredients and will try to keep using but if the stinging persists on my cheeks as I have mild rosacea I with discontinue use.

The Avene Hyaluron active B3 cream has attractive packaging that I am happy to display on my bathroom counter. I like the simple elegant glass design with a pop of rosy colour. The cream has a thick luxurious texture and feels velvety when applied to the skin. It is easy to apply which is important with sensitive skin to minimise rubbing. I applied this cream to my neck and decollate but avoided my face as it is fragranced. my skin absorbed the cream quickly and I noticed a hydrating smoothing effect. Although I try to steer clear of most fragrances for my face neck and decollate I found the scent of the cream very appealing (a fresh clean fragrance) and will continue to use it. I had no adverse reaction to the cream and the skin on my neck and chest is extremely sensitive. I am a big fan of vitamin b3 and hyaluronic acid and a gentle way to apply this to my chest and neck is brilliant, very happy. They say it makes a great base for makeup which would appeal to a lot of people also.

I found the dove 3 in 1 serum to be a fantastic value. Such a good price for a hair serum that size. This serum can replace your normal conditioner if you feel you need an extra boost and provides instant results. I found this worked best for me as a pre-treatment before shampooing. I smoothed on to damp hair and left it on for a few minutes pre-shower and I found it protected my hair while shampooing with fantastic results. I like the scent it is between the shampoo and the conditioner, I like the ease of use of the tube but the packaging itself wasn't as attractive to me as the shampoo and conditioner.

I didn't like the conditioner as much as the shampoo as it seemed to have a heavier scent and a heavier texture for a moisture conditioner though this makes sense. I like the packaging and the bottle to me is very attractive with the turquoise colour and the fact you can peel off the label for a cleaner look (which appeals to me) the conditioner did leave my hair feeling silky and soft but also a bit limp as I have a lot of hair but it's finer in texture, I think this would be great for thick hair though. I leave my condition on normally for a few minutes while I do other things so I think it would be good for instant hydration and rinsing really well makes it feel a little less heavy.

I liked the dove nourishing moisture shampoo. I think it is a good affordable product in a decent size and feels a little bit luxurious. I have seen that the products come on sale a regular amount too. I really like the scent it smells really fresh and the does linger in the hair which is a good thing if you like it. The packaging is really nice and easy to use, I like the turquoise colour and the fact that the sticker peels off easily if you want a nice clean bottle. The shampoo lathers up nicely and cleans the hair well while leaving it soft.

I have had significant issues with my water wreaking havoc on my hair so when I was offered a spot to be a part of this trial I jumped at the chance! The issues with my hair and unwanted buildup from my hard water (despite having filters installed) have at best cost me a lot of money to get undesirable results at worst left me injured after an unexpected reaction. The Loreal metal detox concentrated hair oil smells incredible! I am not usually one for scents and prefer unscented products but I love the way this hair oil smells so much that it is a definite bonus :) I have tried the oil on my hair both wet and dry and it works well both ways leaving my hair soft shiny and manageable. I think I like applying it to damp hair best. It feels like a dry oil to the touch when I initially apply it but it doesn't leave any sticky residue and feels like it absorbs into my hair instead of just forming a coating on top. A little goes a long way and I can get away with 1-2 pumps depending on how my hair is feeling on the day. My hair is long and fine but I have lots of it. The price is a little offputting but a little does go a long way and a product to have so many benefits in one is very appealing. It serves as an anti-frizz treatment, moisturiser, heat protectant, filter, shine serum and hair perfume all in one. I have noticed my hair feels smoother and less frizzy and I am super interested to see how my hair reacts if I get it coloured again. I am interested in trying the other products in the range and would defiantly purchase this product . Metal detox concentrate oil is just what my hair needs, a little bit of sunshine in a bottle.

I was sent the Dove triple moisturising body wash as part of a trial team. The bottle itself is huge in a one-litre bottle and a little product goes a long way. I used 5 pumps the first time I used it and half that amount gives you a really rich creamy lather that covers your entire body. I am not the biggest fan of scented products. The scent is not my favourite but it is not offensive .either, it does, however, have huge staying power if you like it My skin and my bathroom smelt of the body wash for a really long time. I would describe the scent as a clean, soapy, powdery floral perfume. My skin has been very dry this winter I have been so busy and under a lot of stress, neglecting my water intake so my skin has been prone to being dry and itchy lately. I found no irritation with the product and it left my skin feeling neutral. I didn't follow up with moisturiser just to see what the effects were on their own. I didn't feel any residue or film on my skin it didn't feel dry either so I would say it adds moisture and cleanses without stripping the skin. I used both my hand and a puff to apply on different days it lathers well with both and feels creamy and luxurious. I love that dove is cruelty-free and the bottle is made from a good portion of recycled plastic. The pump was easy to use and I like that the label is removable as I like the look of white in my shower and to reduce the busyness. I would definitely purchase this product if it came out in a fragrance-free version for sensitive skin as I am already a big fan of the fragrance-free moisturising dove soap for sensitive skin as a gentle non-irritating or stripping wash for intimate areas.

I was very grateful to be part of the QV face hydrate and renew serum for sensitive skin trials. I love niacinamide on my skin it is one of my favourite ingredients to use so I was excited about that and also that it promised to do all of the things I need for my skin calming firming and lightly hydrating, fragrance-free and for sensitive skin. The packaging was very basic and simple and on the cheaper side but given the price point that is fine and to be expected. I was surprised that the serum was a milky white but it was very light in texture once applied. I wasn't a big fan of the smell although it is fragrance-free it had an aniseedy sent to me maybe ? from one of the active ingredients. I only needed one pump of the serum for my face and one pump of the serum for my neck and chest. A little went a long way but it was very light and absorbed quickly. I am very prone to redness and don't enjoy heavy things on my skin. I found it calmed my skin instantly and didn't leave any residue. I did not notice an intense firming of my skin but I think with further use it would be possible. The hydration level for me was perfect during the day and sat very nicely under my make-up. I would be open to purchasing this product or recommending it to someone with sensitive skin on a budget.

I loved the packaging of the Elizabeth Arden firming night cream with its beautiful frosted glass and Silver lid very classy looking. I would be happy to display this on my bathroom shelf. You only needed a pea-sized amount to easily cover your face and decollate. I applied this on freshly washed skin a few hours before bed and after my evening shower while my skin was still soft. Although I only used a small amount I found the cream quite heavy and it didn't sink easily into my skin. The night cream was a lot heavier than the day in my opinion. I had no issues with the day cream or the ampoules sinking into my skin even if it took a bit of time but the night cream left a greasy residue long after it was applied. about 3-4 hours after application I blotted it off with a tissue as it felt too heavy for my skin and I was worried about getting congested. My skin felt hydrated and plump in the morning but I also had a greasy feel that I felt I needed to wash off. I know some people like that feeling of having something on their skin and I think this would be perfect for those people but for myself I prefer lightweight products that don't clog the skin and absorb completely. I think this particular product would be better suited to very dry skin or someone in harsh winter conditions that needs a lot of barrier protection.

I applied this on freshly washed skin over the Elizabeth Arden brightening ampoule and on its own to compare. the texture of the cream was very luxurious to use it felt like a real treat massaging it onto my skin. The cream took a little while to absorb completely (about 15 minutes) but after it had it left my skin feeling hydrated and plump almost bouncy? I don't really like products with fragrances but the smell of this product was subtle and I didn't dislike it was actually quite pleasant I am very fussy with my fragrances. my skin is very sensitive and I had no issues with this product at all my skin felt calm and moisturised. My skin stayed moisturised and comfortable all day it felt like it had protection from the elements. this day cream does not have sunscreen protection so you would need to apply a separate sunscreen under the day cream. I think this particular product would be helpful in the winter months to combat the drying and dulling effects of the cold and artificial heating.
