I received the Justice Professional Marine Scalp Scrub at the 2025 Best in Beauty Event. Thank you, Beauty Heaven, for the opportunity to review this product. This scalp scrub comes in a 150ml dark blue tube. The product itself is white in colour and quite thick. It has a nice fragrance. The product is designed to exfoliate the buildup on your scalp of such things as flakes and excess oil. I would also say that this product would be good for the removal of the buildup of hairspray and mousse etc. Regular use of the scalp scrub helps to reduce itchiness, irritation & oiliness, leaving a cleaner and healthier scalp. I found the product quite hard to distribute through my hair and to reach my scalp. The directions say apply a palm-sized amount to a wet scalp. As the product is quite thick and grainy this wasn't easy to do. However, I did manage after a while to massage the scrub into my scalp. It is recommended to massage the scrub into your scalp for 3-5 minutes. After massaging I then rinsed the product from my hair. Be careful when rinsing your hair that none of the scrub is left behind. The product has a 99.8 natural vegan formula.

The Maybelline New York Lifter Stix comes in a circular stick with a see-through lid showing the colour of the product. The stix can be wound up and down. These stix come in different shades depending on how you want to use them. They also can be used as a highlighter, concealer or a bronzer for your complexion. I picked Shade 05 which is a light shade to match my pale skin. I used this shade instead of my usual makeup cream. After dabbing the product on my face, I blended it in with my makeup brush. The product blended in easily and the result was very pleasing, and it lasted for most of the day. The finish was very natural. Also, this product is easy to carry in your handbag so if you need to touch-up your makeup you can. I would recommend this product.

I received the Clinique ‘Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum’ at the2025 Best in Beauty event. Thank you, Beauty Heaven, for letting me review this product. The product comes in the very familiar green Clinique packaging with a picture of the serum on the reverse side. The serum itself comes in a 30 ml glass jar with an eye dropper applicator. The serum is pale pink in colour. The serum has a lightweight, milky texture that very quickly and easily absorbs into my skin. I apply the serum after cleansing my skin and before applying my moisturiser. This serum is suitable or all skin types. It is allergy tested and is 100% fragrance free. My sensitive skin had no issues with this product. It is recommended if irritation occurs, to limit use or discontinue if the irritation persists. It is also recommended to apply sunscreen after using and to limit sun exposure. I do feel that this serum is having a positive effect on my skin with my skin feeling smoother, more hydrated and I’m looking forward to having my skin look more glowing. I would recommend this product.

I received a tube of the Du’it Tough Hands Intensive Skin Repair at the 2025 Best in Beauty event. Thankyou BH for the opportunity to review this product. This cream is designed for people with dry, cracked and irritated hands. I try to look after my hands and hence I am always on the lookout for a good hand cream, and the Du’it Tough Hands is a great hand cream. Although I don’t have badly damaged hands the cream worked well on my hands. It is specifically designed for people with dry, rough and calloused hands, particularly due to their work environment. If your hands are in need of care it is advised to apply this hand cream 2 or 3 times daily to clean, dry skin and at bedtime for 7 days, then as necessary to maintain softer and younger looking hands. Also,it is advised that stinging may occur when applied to cracked skin. The cream is white in colour with a gel like consistency, which easily absorbs into my hands. It doesn’t leave a greasy film, like some hand creams do. This hand cream leaves my hands feeling very soft, moisturised and smooth. It’s a great hand cream and is very reasonably price

I received my Nude by ‘Dewy Serum Blush Drops’ at the 2025 Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty Awards. Thanks, Beauty Heaven, for letting me review this product. The blush serum comes in a 15ml oval bottle in a similar colour to the blush shade. That is, light pink with a gold top. The bottle is small but only a very small amount is required at one time. Shake the bottle before use. I chose the 01 Pink Petal shade which is a soft delicate pink. This shade went well with my foundation colour. There were other shades available at the event, but the Pink Petal shade suited my pale skin perfectly. To apply the serum blush drops I put a very small amount on the back of my hand and apply it with my fingertips. The blush goes on easily, spreads well and is easily absorbed into my skin. The product highlights and blends with my foundation. The blush can also be built up if a darker shade is required. Just add more blush. The blush contains hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and condition the skin. I enjoyed using this product and I would recommend it.

I received the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in the Red Dahlia shade at the 2025 Best in Beauty event. Thank you BH for the opportunity to review this product. As is usual with the Burt’s Bees brand, this product is 100% natural, contains no parabens or petroleum and is not tested on animals. I have used Burt’s Bees balms before. They are quick and easy to use. No mirror is required to apply the balm. Just apply it to your lips as often as needed or desired. Having the tint in the lip balm gives just enough colour to highlight my lips. Because the Burt’s Bees balm is so easy to use and apply, it keeps my lips moisturised and in good condition. I would have liked the lip balm to be more long lasting. Apply it often if you want the colour to remain on your lips. The product comes in yellow and pinkish red cardboard packaging with the Burt’s Bees brand at the top and labelled “tinted lip balm RED DAHLIA”. The balm is in a box at the bottom of the cardboard. I thought the Red Dahlia colour suited me. I would recommend this product.

I received the Remington Airvive Digital Hair Dryer at the 2025 Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty Award event. Thank you, Beauty Heaven, for the opportunity to review this product. The Remington Airvive Digital Hair Dryer is a very impressive hair dryer. The first thing I noticed was that this dryer was lightweight compared to my own hair dryer and secondly, it has a softer sound. Its lightweight and quiet design makes it enjoyable to use. The colour of the dryer is a nice shade of purple. The hair dryer is very easy to use. It has an on/off switch on the handle together with buttons that control the amount of heat and strength of air flow. The dryer comes with two magnetic attachments. The slim styling concentrator and a diffuser. I use the Slim Styling concentrator to style my hair. The good thing about this is that it is magnetically attached to the dryer and all that you have to do is twist the concentrator to adjust the air flow direction. My short hair dries and styles quickly. The dryer automatically recalls your previous heat and speed settings. It is important to regularly remove the dust and dirt build-up from the inside of the hair dryer. Do this by removing the grille, as shown in the manual, and cleaning it with a cloth or soft brush, then replace the grille. The cord is 3 metres long, which is more than ample. The cord can be secured by undoing the hang up loop/cord storage clip and securing it around the folded cord. I would recommend this product.

I received the Remington ‘AIRviv 2 -in- 1 Air Styler at the 2025 Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty Awards. This review was conducted as part of the Beauty Heaven product evaluation process. The Remington Air Styler is ideal for straightening hair and taming frizz. My hair is very short so it isn’t something I would purchase but having looked at the product and read about how it is used, I think it would be very good for those that needed it. The styler comes packaged in an attractive white and purple box with the air styler pictured on the front. The air styler itself is purple in colour. Written on the box are the features of the air styler. These are as follows – • Converts into a straightener. • Wet – to – dry styling without extreme heat, which helps hair to retain its natural moisture. • All day frizz-free protection – with heat-activated micro-conditioners. This styler would be ideal for people with frizzy hair and who want to have some control over it. The device is lightweight and comfortable to hold, making it user-friendly for daily styling routines. I was impressed by how quickly the styler heats up and transitions between straightening and drying functions. Additionally, the cord is long enough to allow for easy manoeuvrability. The AIRvive styler has two modes. • Wet mode for use on damp, towel-dried hair and • Finishing mode for use on dry hair. The Wet Mode is used for straightening and drying, and Finishing Mode can be used to refresh your style between washes. As I mentioned earlier my hair is quite short, but I decided to see if I could use the styler to give some height to my hairstyle. The styler is quite wide but nevertheless I was just able to apply it to my hair. It did give my hair some of height. Overall though I do think that this appliance is too big for my hair style. The air styler is very easy to use. The controls are located on the handle of the styler. Turn it on and select which mode that you want to use. A symbol will appear on the display and when the styler to ready to use the display will stop flashing. This styler is well designed.

I received the Dermal Therapy ‘Overnight Face Repair Cream’ at the 2025 Best in Beauty event. Thanks, Beauty Heaven, for letting me review this product. The Dermal Therapy ‘Overnight Face Repair Cream’ is designed to repair your skin whilst you sleep. The Dermal Therapy ‘Overnight Face Repair is highlighted for its intensive hydration and restorative ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, collagen, peptides, antioxidants, and urea, all aimed at repairing and rejuvenating dry skin overnight. The Dermal cream comes in a 40g light blue and white tube with a blue lid and purple label. The purple label highlights the main benefits of this cream in that it hydrates, firms and renews skin. The cream is white and spreads easily; use sparingly as only a small amount is needed. I have sensitive skin and have had no adverse reaction to this product. I use this cream in the evening after cleansing my face. In the morning my skin feels firmer and more hydrated. There are some warnings with this product. Keep it away from your eyes. If contact occurs rinse thoroughly. Secondly if irritation occurs discontinue use and finally keep out of the reach of children. I would recommend this product.

The Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Original comes boxed in the blue and white Dermal colours with a red stripe at the centre of the tube stating that it is ‘Ultra Moisturising’. The design on the tube of lip balm is the same. The tube holds 10 grams. The product has been clinically tested. This lip balm is designed to relieve dry and chapped lips. I look after my lips so I would not put them in the category of dry and chapped. However, I did use this lip balm, and I found it to be very moisturising and nourishing and the product was quite long lasting. I did not need to keep reapplying it. The lip balm is white in colour and feels moist when applied to my lips. I don’t have to apply this lip balm as often as other lip balms because it lasts longer. It makes my lips feel moist and not dry, which is great. It is recommended for those suffering from dry and chapped lips to apply it liberally 3 – 4 times a day or as required. Suitable for children over 3 years of age. I would not hesitate to purchase this product in the future.
