I was lucky enough to receive this to trial and actually given a very fair time to test it (3 months!) The product comes housed in a nice dark purple glass bottle with a dropper applicator. 2 or 3 drops was enough each application and lasted me the entire 12 weeks applying every night and most mornings. The texture was quite like most La Roche serums I've tried and it felt light and non greasy on the skin. I have sensitive skin and had no irritation or reaction at all so very gentle. No detected scent. I found this serum made my skin feel so smooth after just a few days and blemishes were significantly reduced due to the niacinamide. My skin definitely looked more plump and even while using this but unfortunately no noticeable difference in pigmentation for me personally (yet to find a product that does work for me on that and I've tried so so many) My skin definitely did feel nicer while using this product and I'm very happy to have been part of the trial. Will consider buying again in future as maybe I just need longer as the sun damage took years to occur and may take years of persistence to fade!

I received this as part of the Best in Beauty trial box from Bh and would first like to say-thank you Bh for inviting me to this trial and for sending out such awesome products (and such a great variety!). I have used a few Carmex products over the years but never really stick with them. Always switching it up when it comes to lip balms and still yet to find "the one". The Carmex lip conditioner comes in a solid metal jar with a twist off lid and a generous amount of the almost waxy like balm. The scent is very familiar and many lip balms I've used smell quite similar. Ah the nostalgia. Its a nice scent and brings back memories of my school years. The lip balm itself feels quite hard before application but once applied to lips softens and sort of melts into them. Gives my lips a rather tingly feel initially but it isn't uncomfortable. I've used this here and there and have it in my bag for sunnier days (I like that it has spf), but it is not my go to by all means. I'm not a huge fan of the feel or taste it leaves once applied. Not really for me this particular product.

I had recently put some blonde highlights in my hair when I received this to trial for the Best in Beauty (great timing and thanks Bh!). I had never heard of this brand but did do a quick google search on them while using this product as I was interested in their story from the back of the hair masques jar packaging and because ,unfortunately, it is quite hard to read the ingredients well on the back of the jar. The product comes in a solid plastic 227g jar and has a pretty gold twist off lid. The masque is a light purple shade and has a pretty floral aroma which was pleasant. My hair at the time of trial had just been dyed and was a little crunchy at the ends from it. This masque sounded like the perfect saviour I needed!. To use, I simply applied to washed hair and relaxed for 10 minutes while it worked it's magic. The product seemed to absorb well into hair, as opposed to just sitting on the top and sliding about all over my shoulders. It made using much more enjoyable of an experience. Once rinsed out my hair was definitely softer, more hydrated and more vibrant where the highlights were. Quite happy with the results and will keep an eye out for this brand in future.

I was lucky enough to receive two of these to trial for the Best in Beauty trial and must say, I quite like them. The eimele shakes are an all plant based (pea protein, brown rice, probiotic and an array of vitamins) meal replacement drink. To use, you simply add the powder to 250ml water and shake with a shaker (or blend in a blender works fine too). I'm usually not a fan of the flavour of most meal replacement shakes but I actually found this one rather pleasant. The shake is quite thick and leaves you feeling full between meals too. You do however need to drink 4 of these daily to meet your daily nutritional requirements. These vanilla shakes are quite delicious and filling and I really enjoyed being able to try them. Only downside I can come up with is the price . As 4 shakes a day will end up using a whole box of these rather fast! Other than that, great flavour, keeps me full amd I love the natural ingredients.

I've heard great things about Sebamed over the years (but have never really given any of their products a fair try for some reason), so I was excited to be able to try this for Bhs Best in Beauty trial. The product is a hugely generous 1 litre plastic pump bottle and the liquid is a spearminty green with quite a medicinal and strong aroma. Not a huge fan of the scent personally but my son absolutely loves it (and the bubbles it creates in his bathtub! ) This cleanser foams exceptionally well, like more than basically any other product I've ever used. It washes away impurities and dirt and leaves skin soft and doesn't strip away the oils. I was hesitant to try it on my face but it has not caused me any irritation at all but I do find my skin is maybe just a little tighter than I'm used too while using this as a face wash. A great, amazingly priced product that is perfect as an all rounder for bigger families.

I've been using this after every shower since receiving it to trial from BH. This is my favorite of the 7 products I was sent to test. It comes in a large 500ml pump bottle and is made to suit extra dry, sensitive and irritated skin (all of which apply to me). It is a lotion like consistency and has a mild "clean" scent. I found it absorbed quite fast into my skin and left no sticky or uncomfortable residue. My skin just felt soothed,soft and hydrated after using. My favorite thing about this product was that I had been having an annoying itch on my foot for about a week before I got this and nothing had been working to soothe it. I figured I may as well give this a shot- the itch has gone completely from just one use! I am quite impressed with this lotion and have been using it on myself and 2 children after every shower. It is gentle, soothing and great value for money. Will probably be buying in the future when this runs out.

I received this as part of the trial for Bh's Natural Beauty Month. I don't usually use a day moisturiser to be honest as sunscreen is usually enough of a morning for my combination skin to handle but I was interested to be able to try a few new day moisturisers in the hopes one may work well for me and my usual routine. The Blessed by Nature Antioxidant Daily Renewal Cream is full of incredible natural ingredients and Vitamin C, A, E and gkycerin which are all well known to be quite great for the skin. The cream comes in a nice slim plastic tube with a flip top lod which makes dispensing a breeze in the morning rush . The cream felt rather rich to me so I only used a little each application and found it sufficient to hydrate and smooth my skin. It absorbed well and gad a beautiful aroma thanks to the patchouli amd rose oils. Loved the scent of this one! It felt comfortable on my skin and not too heavy like most products feel and went well with my sunscreen amd makeup. In fact, my makeup went on better while using this-more even and smoothed. I found if I used to much however, it would pill and not be so easy so I went back to using very little each morning and that worked perfectly for my sometimes oily skin. A nice, affordable natural mousturiser that I will continue to use of a morning. Will last me such a long time too as I need to use so little!

I was lucky enough to receive this to trial for Bh's Natural Beauty Month. I've never used this brand before but was excited too as I'm a huge fan of New Zealand skin care and natural products in general. This particular moisturer comes in a very luxe looking frosted glass jar with a rose gold lid. It looks expensive and beautiful on my shelf and I looked forward to using this every morning before my sunscreen and makeup. The moisturiser is a not too rich, not too light cream texture with a scent I cant quite put my finger on -but I like it! A nice, light earthy aroma. The moisturiser absorbs well and does seem to live up to its claims of being soothing as that is exactly how I felt after application. The moisturiser absorbed well and I could apply my sunscreen and makeup quite fast and problem free. I'm not sure it lives up to the claims of reducing fine lines and moisture loss as I only got about a week to use it. My skin did APPEAR smoother and more even to me though. I enjoyed using this and I am quite happy with the results for my combination skin so far. Has many amazing ingredients so I look forward to how this will perform with more use.

I was lucky enough to receive this in a recent trial box for Bh's Natural Beauty Month (thank you!). The product comes in the most beautiful packaging - a lovely mint green box which contains a sturdy 50ml glass jar with a mint green lid. Absolutely would catch my eye immediately in a Priceline or supermarket skin care aisle. The cream is a pretty pale purple colour and it has an absolutely amazing and soothing lavender scent-perfect for use before sleep. I was initially worried as this moisturizer feels very thick compared to what I usually use on my combination skin type. I needn't have worried. This left my skin beautifully soft and hydrated in the morning with no oily residue or new breakouts. It really felt so great for my winter skin (due to heating was drier and in need of more hydration than usual). Love the packaging, love the scent, love the detailed list of natural ingredients and especially loved how soft and soothed my skin felt while using it. Oh and its an incredible price! Probably one I will be repurchasing in future :)

I passed this on to my partner who is really not into skincare in the slightest. He liked the no fuss packaging of black plastic tube with easy to read white lettering and the fact it was full of natural, easy to understand ingredients as opposed to a bunch of chemical like names. He said the moisturiser was actually quite impressive as it soaked right into his skin easily and left it softer and more "smooth" feeling. The scent was nice and not too overpowering or "flowery and girly " and it did not sting or irritate his skin at all. I used this myself towards the end of the trial amd I have to say I love the scent more than most other moisturisers I've used. A beautiful light and earthy sandalwood and cedarwood- I'm a huge fan of both! The moisturiser is incredibly loghtweight yet really nourishing due to the avocado, shea and cocoa butters. If he doesn't keep a close eye on this one, I may just steal it away myself as it is so good for oily/combination skin types! A win win for males and females alike this one!
