I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Dermal Therapy Sensitive Skin Lotion. This product comes in a 250 or 750ml white pump bottle with blue and pink branding. The lotion is lightweight, and absorbs easily in to the skin. It does leave a white cast, however this is only temporary. The lotion does not contain any petrochemicals, parabens, or fragrances. It feels nice and soothing on the skin, and I have been using it on healing tattoos (after the initial healing stage). It has a slightly unpleasant smell, due to no added fragrance to mask the natural smell of the ingredients, but it's only noticeable whilst applying. Overall, I do like this lotion, however it's a little light for my preferences, and I would prefer something that feels a little more hydrating. I will definitely continue to use though, and think it would be great for irritated skin.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer - Blur and Mattify. The packaging is sleek, in Nude By Nature's signature cream and rose gold, in a convenient and easy to use tube with a twist off cap. This primer is recommended for combination / oily skin. I personally have dry / combination skin, so was slightly concerned this product would be too drying for my skin. The consistency is nice and thick, and you don't need much to cover your entire face. I found that it creates a nice and smooth canvas for me to apply my foundation, and my makeup looks great even towards the end of the day. I am very happy that my dry patches are not exacerbated in any way. Excess shine is kept at bay, especially in my troublesome t-zone. Overall, very happy with this product, and will continue to use.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Grow Thicker Fuller Thickening Treatment for hair. As someone with extremely thin, fine hair, this product looked very exciting to me. The product comes in a bottle with a nozzle to spray the mist in to your roots. It claims to fortify fine and thinning hair to improve hair density. I apply it after washing, towel drying, and combing my hair. I spray at the roots, and massage in to my hair, before styling as usual. I have definitely found that my hair has added volume and bounce when using the spray. I can't comment on how this product performs in terms of preventing hair loss and encouraging hair growth, as I have not trialled long enough. That being said, I will be continuing to use and am hopeful that I will see those benefits with longterm use.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Burt's Bees Lip Shine lip gloss, in shade 050 'Pucker'. The colour is deep red in the tube, but on the lips it's a nice and subtle reddish pink. The gloss is thick, but not at all sticky. It feels really nice on the lips, and doesn't have any unpleasant taste. There's a subtle fruity fragrance. It doesn't leave you with the dreaded white ring on the inner part of your lips after a few hours. It's not very long lasting, but I don't expect that from a gloss. Overall, it's really comfortable to wear, looks nice, and makes my lips feel soft and kissable! This particular colour does include carmine, and they all include bees wax, which I think is worth knowing in case you avoid these ingredients for ethical reasons.

I am a huge fan of moisturising my feet each night before bed, as I have an irrational phobia of ugly feet! I was excited to try this product, because I want my feet to feel baby soft at all times. Packaging wise, the product would not grab my attention if I were browsing and came across it in the shops. It comes in a white and pink tube, inside an unnecessary additional white box. The tube makes for easy and hygienic application. The cream rubs in easily, feels thick and hydrating, and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave your feet feeling sticky or greasy. The first few times I used it, I noticed a slight tingling feeling. Overall, whilst I liked the product, I was disappointed to see Emu oil listed as an ingredient, as there is no ethical way to harvest it.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Weleda 24H Hydrating Facial Cream. This product comes in a white tube, with an illustrated cactus, which I think looks cute. The moisturiser contains prickly pear extract, which is meant to have soothing properties that are good for dry, sensitive, or acne prone skin. The texture of this cream is on the lighter side, not quite a lotion, but not a thick heavy cream either. It has a VERY strong fragrance, and I would not recommend this product if you are sensitive to scents. You do not need much of this cream to adequately cover your face, it blends in nicely, and leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft. It does not irritate my sensitive skin, and it doesn't cause any oiliness or shine throughout the day. While I do like feel of this cream, unfortunately I find the strong fragrance quite off-putting.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Essano Advanced Brightening Vitamin C serum. This product comes in a glass bottle, with a dropper for application. The serum is white in colour, and the consistency is more of a cross between a lotion and a serum - definitely thicker than a standard serum. It has quite a strong citrussy scent, and I would avoid if you are overly sensitive to scents. I apply to clean damp skin, directly after cleansing. You only need a few drops to cover the whole face, and I find the serum absorbs in to my skin quickly. It is pleasant to use, and makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I have rather sensitive skin, and this product has thankfully not caused any irritation. My skin is looking glowy and fresh, and overall I'm happy with it - I would just prefer it did not have any added fragrance.

I was lucky enough to be selected for the Natural Beauty Month trial team, which included the Glow Lab Age Renew Retinol* Booster Oil. It's worth pointing out that this product does NOT contain any Retinol. The hero ingredient is Bakuchiol, which is said to mimic the results of Retinol. It is a natural alternative to Retinol that doesn't cause some of the usual side effects associated with Retinol use, such as redness, irritation, and sensitivity. I couldn't find any information online as to what percentage Bakuchiol this product contained, however Glow Lab responded to my query promptly, and confirmed it contains between 1-3%. Research has shown that the beneficial concentration is at least 0.5-2%, so I was happy to learn that the product meets this criteria. I have rather sensitive skin, so a product that is comparable to Retinol without the irritation was very exciting for me. I apply the oil after my serum, or mixed in with my nightly moisturiser. On its own, the oil feels extremely lightweight on the skin, but still very nourishing. My skin feels silky smooth after application. It mixes nicely with moisturiser as well. There is a very light fragrance, which is not at all overpowering, and quite subtle. Overall, I really like this product, and can see myself re-purchasing once I run out.

Thank you Beautyheaven and Nivea for the opportunity to trial the Nivea Naturally Good Cleansing Tonic. The tonic comes in a clear plastic 200ml bottle, instantly recognisable as Nivea. The product boasts a vegan formula, made up of 98% natural origin ingredients, and 2% additional ingredients. First up, let me say that I think it's great how transparent this is, and that it's not in tiny fine print, but front and centre on the packaging. The tonic has a strong but pleasant scent, and is similar in texture to micellar water - in fact the application is similar too, you apply with a cotton pad and sweep across your face. I found it to be an ideal final step in my cleansing routine, as it really does remove any last trace of makeup you may have missed. It does not feel harsh like a traditional toner, and doesn't leave any unpleasant residue on the skin, nor is my skin left feeling dry or tight. I think this product is well suited to anyone who wears heavy makeup and wants to ensure their face is getting a thorough but gentle clean.

I was so thrilled to be selected to trial the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating serum - thank you Beautyheaven and Lancôme. My first impression when I received the serum was that the packaging looked sleek and luxe. The bottle is black and silver, and has a nice weight to it. I love the push button dispenser, it makes it really easy to dispense the right amount without any wastage. The serum itself is water based, and a nice consistency - not too thick or gel-like. It absorbs easily in to the skin, and doesn't leave any sticky or greasy residue. I don't find it strongly scented, which I'm really happy about as I dislike strong scents in my skincare. It has a very light and subtle fragrance that smells fresh and is barely noticeable. It feels very hydrating, and the overall texture of my skin feels improved. I am impressed by this serum, and feel it more than lives up to its claims.
