Received this from the beauty trial team; which is always an awesome treat! But part of the trial team requires honest reviews, and I wasn’t blown away by this brush. While the brush is actually aesthetically pleasing, a gorgeous design, and looks great on a vanity, it’s actually a bit too rigid to use comfortably. The wooden bristles make brushing a bit of a sensitive procedure - you have to be quite careful or else it’s painful pulling and breaking hair. If you have the patients to do this task slowly and methodically the bristles would theoretically draw oils away from the scalp to to the ends where they are needed. But I’m not sure this benefit outweighs the negatives. Overall, I like this brush more in theory than in reality.

A good little head massager or scalp stimulator for in the shower or otherwise. You do have to dry it out between uses; because I’d be worried it could grow mould if it’s left in the shower for too long. I would prefer the bristles a little softer too - however, they’re likely to soften with time. Overall, I would recommend this product for adding a bit extra care to the usually boring shower. Overall found this moisturiser really useful and light. It's ingredients are simple and effective, as well as silicone and fragrance free - always a benefit. I also like that the preservatives in this are generally quite natural and not overly harsh. However, because of this I would recommend using it up relatively quickly. Love all the fruit extracts in the moisturiser for added antioxidants. Overall I would repurchase this moisturiser to still use in conjunction with various serums to address certain skin concerns (e.g. anti-ageing, brightness, clogged pores) just because I don't think there is enough active targeting ingredients in this moisturiser.

This is a very handy little tool. I must admit it is much better than it’s cheaper counter parts out there. I have had similar designs E.g. from the dollar store or discount chemist. But this Manicare one is much better than all of them. This is mostly due to its unique material. It’s made of a soft rubber or silicone combination, as such it is pleasant and not at all uncomfortable to hold against the skin around the eye when applying mascara. The other models I’ve tried are all to rigid and do not conform to the contours of the eye when I use them. I don’t use this everyday as often I’m in a rush to get out the door, however if I’m going for a high impact look and I want to layer mascara - this is exactly what I need to make high impact lashes without potentially messing up my eyeshadow.

Smells really delightful and quite fresh and relaxing. Can very much smell the lavender, patchouli, and geranium and orange scents. I currently use it to add to infusers and aromatherapy stones. Not sure it does much more than just smells good is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. I would like to use it in a carrier oil (eg jojoba) in a massage though; I think then I would gather maximum benefit from it as a tranquility building oil. It is too strong to use on the skin without a great deal of dilution.

Mixed feelings about this foundation… Thin and overall easily blended with a sponge. I didn’t find it drying but I’m not sure if classify it as for ‘dry skin.’ Not really full coverage. More moderate coverage, but it was easy to build up coverage with an additional application. Also, I personally prefer moderate coverage anyway. Not really long wear. Lasts about the same amount of time as any other foundation I own. So I’m happy I tried this foundation, but am unlikely to buy it again.

Am still not sure if I totally love this oil as it has a lot of PUFAs in there as well as some amazing oils (PUFAs - Polyunsaturated fatty acids.) The problem with PUFAs is because they are unsaturated oils, they have the tendency to oxidise - oxidisation essentially releases free-radicals - which over time obviously can in fact age skin. However, this product also has some truly amazing ingredients too. Squalane oil is a saturated oil and probably one of the best facial oils out there! Also Bakuchiol is an amazing alternative to Retinol. I think if you were to use this up quickly - before the oils oxidised - it would be a worthwhile purchase.

An absolutely incredible sunscreen without any of the nasties - doesn’t contain chemical sunscreen absorbers, is paraben-free, cruelty-free and reef safe. For those complaining that it's too thick or pill/balls up - this is usually because you're 1) using too much, or 2) because it's reacting with horrible other silicones in your skincare routine. If you're using silicone free skincare; I assure you this won't be an issue. Physical sunscreens, as we know now, are leagues above chemical sunscreens at blocking harmful UV rays. This is the pinnacle of physical sunscreen with so many incredible ingredients. Will re-buy this again and again!

I really like using this on my fingers; it's a great sheer shine to indulge in for a simple manicure. It's easy to use and dries relatively quickly too. However, like many varnishes, it can occasionally chip and requires removal; the act of using acetone frequently on your nails certainly doesn't help strengthen your fingernails in the long term, and dries out your cuticle bed too. So I would use this every so often between giving my nails lots of moisturiser and the occasional manicure with colour.

As the title suggests, this is very much fresh take on nail polish removal! I love the idea that it cuts down on waste for unnecessary cotton balls and that it's reusable (but how many times I cannot say). It's a handy little bottle to have around! The only reason it has gotten 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1) it's very easy to spill, I opened it at an angle the first time and made quite the mess (potentially shortening it's lifespan too), and 2) I think the hole will eventually completely gunk up with removed nail varnish and it will be one sticky mess, time will tell!
