I suffer from adult cystic acne flare ups and break outs around that time of the month and leading up to it so I was excited to trial LRP's new acne moisturiser to see how it would fare on my skin. I was pleasantly surprised with this product and found it not only helped to calm the redness and inflammation around my red spots but also mattified my skin all day and left it sufficiently moisturised. I had a major flare up prior to starting this product and found it was the perfect time to incorporate it into my routine! The redness dissipated faster than usual and also new flare ups didn't last as long. My skin continued to stay moisturised and felt soft even until the end of the day. The product is light and gel like and blends in smoothly and easily. It comes in a pointed squeezy tube for ease of use and is lightweight and thin so easily packs away for travel. Highly recommended this new product and I will be continuing to use into the future!

I received this new moisturiser at BH's best in beauty event recently and I am a bit on the fence about how I feel about it for my specific skin type. The cream itself melts into skin nicely and has an invigorating lemongrass scent. It comes in a flip top lid tube for ease of use and a no mess application. It contains organic hemp, manuka oil and lanolin which are great for protecting the skin barrier and preventing trans epidermal water loss which is a must have for any moisturiser. It was a bit thick for my face so I would use it as a body moisturiser for myself personally. I have combination sensitive skin so the essential oils in this product slightly irritated my skin but not a huge amount. I feel with daily use these oils may end up causing longer term irritation. I loved the scent and the ingredients so I enjoyed this as a moisturiser but just felt it would be for more drier and robust skin types for use on the face.

I was so excited to try another product from Hemptuary so was naturally very grateful to receive this at BH's best in beauty marketplace event recently. I decided to use this product in replacement of my usual paw paw ointment for cuts, grazes, rashes and spots of extremely dry skin. The balm needs to be worked into the skin as it is a thicker consistency and I found it soothed and nourished these areas whilst providing a thick barrier that lasted for hours. I also used it on my dry heels and feet after exfoliating and the next day my feet felt so moisturised and supple. I have used this balm on my underarms after shaving and that got rid of a lot of irritation. The soothing balm was great for my eczema and didn't inflame my skin any further as some treatments do. In my opinion, its a bit too thick for a face or all over body moisturiser but great for trouble spots that need a little TLC.

Another great moisturising product from Dermal Therapy! This cream was thick, melted in nicely and provided nourishment and softness to my hands for hours after use. I love this brand being Australian Owned and made and developed in consultation with dermatologists. I get eczema and contact dermatitis, work in airconditioning all day and sanitize my hands multiple times a day so I am always compromising the skin barrier on my hands. I found that even after washing my hands this cream still provided a layer of protection and moisture and stayed supple and soft. The easy to use flip top tube provides a no fuss and no mess application throughout the day and is amazing for an overnight hand mask. The inclusion of urea and vitamin E gently exfoliates the skin whilst also providing nourishment without irritation. A great hand balm for working hands... so impressed!

I was fortunate enough to receive this lovely new foundation from Nude by Nature at BH's best in beauty marketplace event and I am impressed with its buildable and lightweight coverage. I have combination skin so the addition of salicylic acid in a foundation is a winner for me. It is so light and seamlessly blends in as a standalone product or as a setting powder for liquid foundation. We were shown to add it over the top of Nude by Nature's Moisture Infusion foundation and it not only set that well but also added more depth to the colour. It glides on evenly and is buildable to your desired coverage so it's a nice product to tailor to your own needs. I'm not sure the long term effects it has on blemishes but it made them appear less red and inflamed even after removing the foundation on my own skin. I always look for Vitamin C in my skincare so I love that it contains Kakadu Plum to brighten the skin. Overall another winner and natural foundation from Nude by Nature that I look forward to using more and more and hopefully I will see the long term benefits of the salicylic acid.

I received this moisturising balm as part of BH's best in beauty marketplace event and I am very pleased with the results I've seen so far. I love dermal therapy products and love that it's Aussie made and owned. The addition of Manuka honey is something that I haven't personally seen a lot of and I was keen to try to see if it works in skincare. It instantly hydrates lips and is not sticky or tacky but very nourishing and smells amazing. It comes in a tube with an easy to use applicator which you can just squeeze and glide on to your lips. It feels soothing and nourishing and contains urea which can help exfoliate dead skin cells. It contains lanolin and cacao butter which is fantastic for trans epidermal water loss and for keeping the lips hydrated without having to reapply every 10 minutes. Great for a day out in the sun and after and also great for moisture loss from airconditioning.

I was lucky to try and receive this new foundation from Nude by Nature at BH's best in beauty marketplace event and I absolutely love it. It comes in a gorgeous tan coloured tube with an easy to use pump with dispenses a small amount of product at a time. It instantly melts into the skin and blends in nicely. It is a medium coverage which I prefer, however you can build it up to your desired coverage without it looking caked on. It instantly hydrated my skin and didn't feel tacky or greasy. The addition of hyaluronic acid makes it feel so nourishing and like a serum which penetrates nicely into the skin. I love how it has added antioxidants such as Kakadu Plum and the addition of shea butter and vitamin E makes my skin feel extra hydrated. The colour matches nicely and leaves a nice lightweight colour to my face. A great product from Nude by Nature. Definitely going to repurchase this one.

Another great product from Burt's Bees! This cute little balm contains lovely nourishing products like aloe vera, shea butter and coconut oil. Perfect for those summer days at the beach or to nourish lips after being out in the sun (or even inside from the blasting air conditioning). My lips are always dry in summer and I look for a light balm that is easy to apply on the go and one that contains natural emollients. I love that this product feels light and soothing whilst also being moisturising and nourishing. I felt like I do have to reapply this balm often to get the full benefits as my skin drinks it right up. Its easy to use and and light enough to take everywhere. I don't just use it for day either. I think its overall a great moisturising balm for all year round.

I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous lip scrub as part of BH's best in beauty marketplace event. I love BB products and this one is no exception. It smells lovely and contains fine granules of coffee to effectively exfoliate away the dead skin from my lips. As it only contains fine granules it exfoliates deeply without taking off too much skin and it didn't irritate my lips. The sticky, balmy texture of the scrub moisturised my lips immediately after making them soft and nourished. It comes in a small easy to use pot which is great for travel and on the go. I love that it's natural and responsibly sourced as well.

I received this shampoo from Glowlab's new shampoo and conditioner range as part of BH's natural beauty month marketplace event. I love the inclusion of argan oil in this new product but I felt it was actually a bit drying for my hair which was a bit of a disappointment. I have colour treated hair and was hoping to see smoother and more nourished hair after using but felt it did not meet these expectations for me personally. It comes in a darkly tinted pump top bottle with a generous 600ml which is great for ease of use and helping the product to last longer and keep bacteria at bay. It lathers nicely and has a lovely nutty like scent however to me was just a basic shampoo :( with the conditioner it felt a bit nicer however not as hydrating as I had hopes for. Probably better suited to more normal hair types.
