Used as part of BH trial for 3 weeks. Glass bottle is sturdy though heavy if travelling. Serum texture is thin watery gel, very light and spreadable. No scent at all which is a bonus for me as I hate perfumed products. I applied 3 pea sized drops to damp skin and it abortive completely within 30 seconds. No sticky residue and it didn’t pull with any product I used on top (serum, moisturiser, SPF, oils etc). It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, didn’t cause breakouts or make the eczema around my mouth any worse. Skin felt soft and hydrated. Didn’t notice any visible change to skin texture or pigmentation but I wouldn’t expect to after only using for 3 weeks, would need a longer trial to see results. I would buy it myself as a basic HA serum but it’s not anything amazing or life changing, similar to other brands I’ve tried such as The ordinary and Sukin, trilogy

I was lucky enough to trial this and right when my post-winter dry skin was getting quite flakey and itchy on my legs. Bag is easy to access the bath soak powder and resealable to keep moisture out. It comes with a plastic scoop which is convenient though unnecessary in my opinion, would love to see a wood or bamboo version instead or even no scoop as you can just use a regular tablespoon. Zero scent which I appreciate because I like to add my own essential oils to the bath depending on my mood. Made the water milky as expected and there was some undissolved sediment leftover at the end when I drained the bath so I might put less in next time. My skin felt soft and supple afterwards and definitely less dry than it is is ally would after soaking in the bath. I used it twice one week and it helped hydrate and soothe my dry flakey skin. Skin was less itchy afterwards which was a bonus.

I love this simple and unassuming high strength vitamin e cream and have used it for about 3 years now. I use it as an eye cream just tap on a tiny amount and it’s so nourishing but can be greasy if too much is applied. I also use over my regular moisturiser at night once a week if my face is very dry, or if I have a patch of psoriasis especially in winter as this cream is rich and stops skin cracking. For my combination skin it’s too timing for daytime use as it’s a little greasy for me. It has a unique but light scent that took some getting used to because I prefer unscented products. Easy to apply tube with a snap close lid avoids spillage. This calms my skin when it’s irritated by other products too

Wear sunscreen everyday when using this product to protect your skin. I have used a few different brands and strengths of retinol to aid in reducing hyperpigmentation and melasma so am used to a stronger 1.0% formula that I only use once or twice a week but have never used bakuchiol so was excited to trial it in my beauty box. I hate that they called it a retinol booster when it’s not actually retinol, makes no sense. The dropper makes it very easy to apply, 3-4 drops did my whole face and neck. I used it every second night and the percentage was lower than I’m used to so I felt comfortable using it this often. It has a light scent and oily texture and was gentle on my skin though did leave a slight greasy film which I don’t mind at night. I had no tingling, peeling or redness however after a few uses my skin was a little dry so I dialled back to use it less often. I can’t comment on any actual effectiveness for reducing fine lines or pigmentation because I only used it for 10 days before my review was due so I can’t say one way or the other if this product actually works or not so would need to use for at least 2-3 months for any visible change to be noticeable. Thus this review is really only a first impression. Please apply a generous layer of proper 50+ sunscreen everyday to protect your skin, otherwise it’s pointless using skin care and active ingredients as you’re undoing all the effort you put into improving your skin.

I love a thick body moisturiser in winter because my skin gets very dry and flaky sometimes causing me to itch and now with COVID my hands are also extra dry and cracking from sanitiser and washing. It’s a super thick moisturising cream with almost zero scent which I prefer because I don’t like skin care products interrupting my actual perfume scent plus I find strongly scented products generally irritate my dry skin more. It does leave a slight greasy film on the skin but because mine is so dry I don’t hate that, it just means clothing sticks to it while absorbing. But I was so annoyed the pump in this small bottle didn’t work so I had to unscrew it and wipe the cream on my hand to app my which was time consuming and inconvenient. I don’t know if it’s because the cream is sooo thick that it won’t get drawn up but mmmm into the pump, or if this was just a one off dodgy glitch in the packaging.

I have combination skin that tends to be much drier in winter but I still get an oily T zone through the day so I was excited to trial this nude primer in my beauty box. I use nude powder foundation so I only used it under that and didn’t try it under any liquid foundation. I found less is more with this primer and applied to specific areas only on my face was better than applying all over because it really did dry very very matte. In fact I found it too matte and dry for my liking because it made my skin look dry, Camry and lacklustre once I applied powder foundation over the top. It did keep my forehead and nose looking less oily throughout the day which was impressive, however it also made the foundation settle into every fine line and crevice making it more obvious. I liked the light cream gel formula and it absorbed quickly, didn’t irritate my skin and the squeeze tube was easy to dispense a small amount. I will keep using a little of this on my forehead and chin and in summer I might use it more often.

I have used a few different brands of setting spray from pharmacy brands and more expensive ones like too faced but my all time fave is the urban decay setting spray so I compare everything else to that one. This nude by nature spray was lighter compared to my usual brand which is heavier and I can feel the spray layer on my skin once it dries, the nude version didn’t feel like anything on my skin which was nice. However the nude spray didn’t set my make up as well and it didn’t stay looking fresh and flawless for as long. I use nude powder foundation and the spray didn’t change the colour or texture of my makeup. The spray bottle worked well and the spritz was lift and dispersed well. I prefer to pay a higher price for my usual brand when I want a setting spray that really sets and holds all day and night.

My heels were so dry and and starting to crack a little that I was 1 week away from hobbit feet honestly it’s so lucky this came in my trial box when it did. I haven’t used a heel balm for probably a decade and I forgot how magical it is at quickly healing my feet (pun intended). The smell is a bit off putting but it’s only on my feet and I applied before bed under socks so it could soak in overnight. After 10 days of using the thick cream my little heel cracks are almost gone and the skin feels like actual skin again, not sandpaper. They still a bit hard and scaly on the outer edge only but I know with extended use they will be baby soft in no time. So impressed even after the first use they were already softer and I cannot recommend this product highly enough

This tube of pinky red raspberry coloured lip gloss reminds me of my teenage years getting my 2 front bits of hair stick to my lips every time the wind blew or I turned my head. As an adult I liked the colour only but absolutely nothing else about this product. I prefer silky lip pencils, balms and lipsticks as opposed to a sticky gloss. The tube inevitably gets all gross in the lid from the residual gloss that ends up smears on the applicator. The texture is sooo thick, sticky and goopy that a small amount goes a long way. I’m sure the high shine gloss looks great in a photo if you like a wet look but it ends up in your mouth, on your teeth and melting off your lips after about 3 minutes. It also smelled strongly of red frog lollies which I didn’t like at all. Good in a lollie when you’re 12, but not in a lip gloss.

I was lucky enough to trial this product thanks to BH. I’ve tried other weleda moisturisers and haven’t been a fan, too perfumed and left a greasy film on my skin. This version was similar in that I also didn’t like it for those reasons. It’s personal preference but I prefer lightly or fully unscented products so for me this was too overpowering and I could smell it on my fingers after applying. The consistency is a thick cream but it absorbed surprisingly quickly. I have combination skin which is quite dry in areas during winter so I used this at night for extra hydration. It left a slight oily film on my skin and my nude powder foundation looked terrible on top of this moisturiser. It also made my eyes red, itchy and swollen so I avoided that area completely after the first use which irritated them so much, lesson learnt. I wouldn’t buy this product, my skin doesn’t like it.
