I've been using this balm for a few years as it provides moisture and protection from the elements while providing a light tint to the lips. It also has a delicious sbe watermelon scent. I've got one in my handbag, one on my desk and one in the bathroom. Highly recommend. I must be onto my sixth tube(at least!) of this little gem. My combination skin loves this product which moisturises well without leaving me shiny. I use a generous teaspoon which covers my face and neck and within a few minutes it dries down. The tube makes it easy to get almost all the product and the flip top keeps it hygienic, it is also the perfect size for your handbag. I usually buy it when on sale at the supermarket at around eight dollars which is extremely affordable. I highly and enthusiastically recommend this essential!

The Nivea Cellular Lift Expert Day Cream SPF15 comes in a white jar with rose gold lid and this is packaged in a rose gold cardboard box with navy accents. The cream is pink with a lovely rich consistency and a floral scent which is not overpowering. The cream goes a long way so I only use the amount of a 20 cent piece for my face and neck. The cream does take a few minutes to be absorbed so I recommend applying well before applying additional sunscreen or makeup. The cream contains Bakuchiol which helps improve skin density & structure; and micro & macro hyaluronic acid which smooths skin and improves texture. I really enjoyed using this cream and have found the product has softened some deeper wrinkles in my forehead and between my eyebrows, my skin also appears slightly smoother and firmer. I would recommend this product to those with mature skin and want a smoothing and firming product. But I would recommend applying additional sunscreen as this only contains SPF15. At a price point of less than $50 this product is great value for money.

Extra Relief Moisturising Cream is a great product for sensitive skin and skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. The product is packaged in a 100g white and soft lavender tube which looks pretty. The product is a thick white cream which goes a long way. It is a fragrance free moisturiser perfect for sensitive skins but vegetable glycerine with aloe vera and sunflower oil it provides extra relief for skin conditions. A little is all that's needed on hands and then applied to anywhere on the skin that it's needed. It is a thick product so some gentle rubbing in or waiting a little time is necessary for the cream to be absorbed. I apply it after showering on damp skin so it can soothe my eczema on my legs in particular. It's been incredibly handy over winter and on hands when using hand sanitiser frequently which causes dryness and dermatitis on my hands and wrists. As it contains no animal products and is not tested on animals it is suitable for vegans and anyone concerned about animal welfare.

Kenkay Sorbolene cream with 10%vegetable glycerine is a great moisturiser for sensitive skin. The product is packaged in a white and sky blue tube which looks lovely and fresh. It can be used as a soap free alternative, as a shaving cream or makeup remover. A little is all that's needed on hands and then applied to anywhere on the skin that it's needed. Thankyou for the opportunity to trial the Du'it 'Tough Lips' Intensive lip balm, Beautyheaven! Despite the primary colours of the packaging of this lip balm not being my favourite, the bright yellow with cobalt(?) blue do make it helpful to find in my bag. I was interested to see the variety of oils in the ingredients list: Lanolin, Caster (seed), Shea Butter, Grape (seed), Coconut, Cocoa Butter and Avocado. These certainly make this product feel very moisturising. It applies really smoothly and feels lovely to wear. I guess the Carnauba & Cera Alba (beeswax) waxes also contribute to the lovely feel and also how long lasting it wears on the lips. I often applied Du'it's 'Tough Lips' Intensive lip balm before 8am in the morning and it often remained on my lips at 4pm...even after coffee, lots of water and crackers or bread for lunch. I'd only have to reapply after dinner or before bed. I couldnt' detect what kind it was, but the final ingredient listed is 'aroma'. Personally I don't mind some fragrance as long as it's not too overpowering but I guess the lack of anything noticeable makes it appeal to a wider market. The cap fits well onto the casing keeping it from coming off in my bag. I didn't get out and about on the few hot days we've had recently so can't say whether the product melted in high temps or not. The only thing lacking was some sun protection but that may make it a less pleasant product as far as fragrance and wear time. A very budget friendly R.R.P of $5.95 makes this lip balm fantastic value and I love it.

I recently developed Eczema on my legs & purchased the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion in the 354ml bottle in hope of combating the itchiness and discomfort. The typical cream plastic Aveeno pump bottle has a distinctive dusty blue collar and band on the front which helps to locate instore or differentiate between Aveeno products. It also has a detachable plastic collar to keep the pump closed when travelling, which is useful. Being offered in 2 sizes is also super handy. I was happy to be able to purchase the smaller product to test out before I committed to the larger bottle. The formulation contains oat oil, which has a high level of natural antioxidants, including vitamin E to soothe the skin. The properties of oats powerfully protects skin and helps restore its natural barrier, while deeply moisturising skin and restoring the normal pH of the skin. The product is a thick off white lotion with an almost gel-like consistency which prevents it being too runny. I've found a little goes a long way and because it's unfragranced it's good for sensitive noses as well as skin conditions. I use a couple of pumps on my slightly damp legs immediately after showering which keeps my skin comfortable for over 24hrs. I've repurchased twice and usually wait for it to be in sale at Chemist Warehouse. I haven't used this product in cooler months yet so cannot comment how it performs in winter. Highly recommended for sensitive and itchy skin conditions!

The Elucent 'Even Tone Night Cream' comes packaged in a white 50g glass tub with aqua and charcoal accents and a silver lid. Hygiene doesn't have to be an issue if you use a clean finger or spatula to get a pea sized amount of product onto the back of your hand which can then be applied sparingly where you want to use it. The Elucent Even Tone range contains: -phyllanthus emblica fruit extract to maintain and brighten skin tone - vitamin C to reduce discoloration -vitamin E to improve skin barrier function and increase skin elasticity -safflower seed oil to brighten skin, increase cell turnover and moisturise -vitamin B3 to restore an even complexion. This night cream has a distinct fragrance which I didn't mind but my partner wasn't a big fan! I loved the texture of this product, as many night creams it has a gel like smooth consistency which allowed me to apply it sparingly. A pea sized amount was enough to cover my face, neck and decolletage. I used a this amount every evening after cleansing and after applying the 'Even Tone Dark Spot Corrector'. I also used a little on some freckles on the backs of my hands. I must say I really loved the moisturising effect this had on my skin, as well as the fading of sunspots. After a month of using this product I have found it has helped fade my sunspots and freckles, though it hasn't made them disappear completely. I'd recommend the Elucent 'Even Tone Night Cream' for those who have sunspots, pigmentation and freckles and want to make them less visible. However, I must stress that this product does not make them disappear, in my experience thus far. I found my spots faded or lightened about 25% after a month of use of this range. I also found using a chemical exfoliant/cleanser a few times a week useful in assisting this range of products do their job as best as possible. Care must also be taken by using sun protection at all times to prevent darkening of pigmentation and dark spots, and to prevent more damage to your skin when using product to lighten pigmentation and while using chemical exfoliant products.

The Elucent Even Tone Dark Spot Corrector comes packaged in a white 30g tube with aqua and charcoal accents and a silver cap, The tube is very flexible and it it easy to squeeze out a lot more product than you need so care should be taken. It retails for AUD 49.99 but is currently listed on the Chemist Warehouse online store for AUD 34.99 The Elucent Even Tone range contains: -phyllanthus emblica fruit extract to maintain and brighten skin tone - vitamin C to reduce discoloration -vitamin E to improve skin barrier function and increase skin elasticity -safflower seed oil to brighten skin, increase cell turnover and moisturise -vitamin B3 to restore an even skin tone. I have to say I was a little confused as to how this product should be applied in conjunction with the other products, as the instructions on the pack and tube didn't specify to use it before the Day Moisturiser or Night Cream, Luckily the application instructions were supplied with the trial information. The product is much more like a lotion than a cream and only a little is required for your dark spots, I used a small amount on a couple of sun spots on my cheeks and jawline twice a day after cleansing before using the Day Moisturiser or Night Cream. I also used a little on some freckles on my face and hands. Although the spot corrector is described as being fragrance free, I found the product had a relativley strong chemical odour which disippated on dying. After a month of using this product twice a day I have found it has helped fade my sunspots and freckles, it's probably lightened them by 25 % so it hasn't made them disappear completely. I'd recommend the Elucent Even Tone Dark Spot Corrector for those who have sunspots, pigmentation and freckles and want to make them less visible.
