I purchased this from Priceline in shade light which was a great match to my skin tone and was super excited to find a BB cream with an SPF50 sunscreen, because North Queensland. I paid full RRP which from memory was a considerable expense given how little product you're getting, though certainly not the worst out there. I usually just love LRP products and was excited to use this as my everyday BB cream, but it fell well short of my expectations. It's very thick and greasy making it a bit on the difficult side to apply quickly and evenly (which is kind of the point of a BB cream), it seemed to sit on the skin, never really soaking in or settling, it caught on dry patches and made its way into every fine line and wrinkle I didn't know I had and it migrated straight off my nose the second I put my sunglasses on. I attempted to set it first with Laura Mercier matte powder which just seemed to make it clump to any unflattering areas more quickly, and then with (my favourite setting powder ever) RCMA no colour which just sat on top of the cream like a weird slippery satin veil. It was an all round unpleasant experience and I've actually baulked at purchasing anything else from this line because of it. I'm not sure if my naturally prone-to-oiliness skin was the cause or if Ive used it incorrectly somehow, but it was a total flop for me.

I purchased this online after reading consistently positive reviews, taking a bit of a gamble I chose Light Beige, which thankfully, was a perfect match. I've been looking for my holy grail powder foundation for everyday use, something quick and easy to apply, light on this skin but with maximum effect to even out my complexion and tone down any blemishes or spots. Purepressed Base Mineral Foundation has DELIVERED! Exceptionally easy to use, I brush or buff it on with a Sigma kabuki brush starting at my forehead and working my way down and out. It doesn't cake, it doesn't highlight any texture or dryness and it doesn't immediately migrate to my fine lines to announce their presence. I was particularly intrigued to find that it doesn't sit on the skin like a powder, it looks like your own skin but beautifully even and airbrushed, radiant and healthy. The coverage I would gauge as medium, it doesn't cover all the sins completely but definitely takes the focus off them, which for me is ideal as I didn't want to look like I was wearing a mask. Other products apply easily over the top including cream products, it actually sets your concealer from underneath! The foundation doesn't oxidise at all, lasts all day long without turning patchy or sliding off, and most importantly, doesn't break me out. The powder isn't fragranced either and I deeply appreciate that. Some considerations are: it's expensive, really expensive, for a less than generous pan of product. You need to buy separately the compact to house your pan safely, which is also expensive considering it's a painted piece of plastic comparable to any other that you might find at the chemist. The kickback when you dig for product is considerable so swirl gently, ladies. The "sponge" applicator it comes with is pathetically slim and flimsy, I threw it out as soon as I received it. It's not mattifying, nor does it cause excess oiliness. Despite these concerns it's still a five star product simply because of how beautifully it performs, how stunning it looks, how long it lasts and how kind it is to the skin. I will absolutely be repurchasing this product and replacing everything in my hoard with JI as I use them up in the hopes that all her products are as outstanding as Purepressed Base Mineral Foundation.

I've been using this for around a month now, and I'm impressed! I purchased this along with a few other skincare items to make up a total that unlocked freebies (they always get me!) and I have a strange love for facial mists, so this was exciting to try. It's a substantially sized plastic amber bottle with a black spray top covered by a clear plastic cap emblazoned with the usual Sukin style labels. Simple and attractive. The spray top produces a nice fine mist that lands gently on this skin rather than being a liquid assault to the face like some others. It has a very fresh, herbaceous scent that is light and disappeared soon after application. It's soothing and refreshing to the skin after cleansing, and leaves an ideal damp surface to apply serums on top of, and definitely helps them absorb into the skin. It's also perfect to refresh your skin during the day, after excess air conditioner exposure, after being in the sun or just because you happen to want to use it! Keep one in the fridge during summer for a cool lift. It's lovely on the face, chest, neck and shoulders, it hasn't broken me out or irritated my skin. I haven't found it super hydrating but it's worth using nevertheless and at this price point, it's completely fine to use it a lot! I'll definitely repurchase a few of these to keep in my bag, bathroom and fridge. Love it!

I received a delux sample of this and was excited to give it a try as Sukin products are among my favourites. The packaging is attractive and simple, good quality and easy to use. It's a typical tube with a flip top lid at the base. Unfortunately the product inside was too creamy with too few exfoliating particles to really do any good. The smell is a very light scent of coffee and coconut, and honestly, a bit artificial, and is well and truly gone by the time it's rinsed off. I didn't notice any moisturising effect on my skin. This product isn't bad, and didn't disgust or harm me, but it was a bit of a "why bother" experience for me. I wouldn't purchase it and would have been disappointed if I had.

This was my favourite foundation when I was 18 (10 years ago!) so I was surprised to see it still in production while perusing my local Priceline a few weeks ago. I scored a perfect match with shade 2.C cool vanilla, literally my skin colour in a tube! I'm certainly glad they've upgraded the packaging to a convenient and hygienic pump atop the normal glass bottle. The packaging to look at is sleek and not obtrusive to see on your dresser, nothing special, but not ghastly. The formula is quite fluid but not watery, spreads easily and blends incredibly well. Dry down is slower than a lot of other foundations which I'm so very grateful for as you can work on your whole face and fixing any uneven parts is a breeze. The finish is a little on the dewy side, but can be toned down with a setting powder, and coverage is medium although I wouldn't be confident to build it given how emollient the formula is. I was very surprised at how well it lasted! A good 8-10 hours with a setting powder and spray without caking, turning patchy or setting up in my fine lines or areas with texture- I was very happy about that! My only issue is the price. It's a drugstore brand and the quality reflects that classification; it's very good, but it's drugstore very good. The RRP of $30 is a bit rich but if you find it on a good sale (which I was fortunate to) it's well worth it. Overall it's a great everyday choice.
