I received the Remington AIRvive Digital Hair Dryer at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event, and I love the sleek look and design aesthetic of this hair dryer. I am impressed by how light and small it is, while still being powerful and drying my hair quickly. The hair dryer allows for fast drying without using high heat, which is great for my fine hair which can be easily damaged from drying. The 3 metre long cord is a good idea, allowing for flexibility in terms of where it is plugged in. This small, light, quiet hair dryer, with its beautiful aesthetic, is a winner for me.

I received the Remington AIRvive 2-in-1 Air Styler at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event, and I like the sleek look of this hair styling tool. It's a great concept to have a hair dryer and straightener in one tool, and I am sure it saves time for those who use a hair dryer then a straightener to style their hair - these two steps can be replaced with the one tool. For me, I have fine straight hair that dries fast without using a hair dryer, and also doesn't need straightening, so I normally do not use any tools on my hair. However, I was impressed with the silky smooth finish that this Air Styler created in my hair, and will use it for special occasions. This is a sleek and effective hair tool, that I am sure will be game-changing for those who need it.

I received the Nude by Nature Dewy Serum Blush Drops at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event, and took home the 03 Peach Crush colour. These drops took a bit of getting used to for me to get the colour right - the first time I used them, I used too much blush and the colour was too intense (I had to wipe it off!). My tip is that you only need to use the smallest drop of this blush to get a colour that is not too intense. Even on subsequent applications, when I used the tiniest amount of blush, the colour actually deepened and progressed over the next 10 minutes - it was as though the colour was reacting with the foundation and/or moisturiser I was wearing to develop and deepen the blush colour through time. (The foundation and moisturiser were both ones that I was testing from the Best in Beauty event.) I was pleased with the colour - my first thought was that the peach would not be right for my skin colour, but it is actually a flattering colour once blended in.

I have been using the Thanks to Nature Hydrate and Nourish Conditioner every second day (when I normally wash my hair) since receiving it at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event. The fragrance is sweet and lovely. I received the Thanks to Nature travel pack with three products in it, so the conditioner is a 75mL squeeze tube version of the product. I was so impressed with how shiny, soft and smooth my hair was after each wash with this conditioner (and its matching shampoo). I used the conditioner just on the ends of my hair, as I get oily roots. However, on the day after washing my hair, the smoothing residues made my hair oily. So an excellent day 1, but oily day 2, in each two day cycle for my hair. But overall a nice conditioner.

I have been using the Thanks to Nature Creamy Body Wash in Nourish Sweet Almond and Vanilla fragrance every day since receiving it at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event. The fragrance is sweet and pleasant, and quite strong, but that is nice in the shower. I received the Thanks to Nature travel pack with three products in it, so the body wash was a 75mL squeeze tube version of the product. The set is cute, but the body wash is possibly too small, as we use more body wash than shampoo or conditioner. The body wash lasted me just one day under two weeks, so that could be just right for a holiday under two weeks in length. The body wash has a gentle lather, which was different for me at first, but I got used to it, and enjoyed the consistency of the formula. Overall, a nice body wash, which I enjoyed using.

The DU'IT Tough Hands Intensive Skin Repair works well to moisturise my dry and rough hands from lots of washing. I received this hand cream at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event, and have used it every day and overnight since. The white translucent cream smooths easily on my hands and absorbs well, not leaving much residue on my skin, which is great. As my skin is quite dry, I do find that by morning, my hands are a little dry again. But during the day, when I can reapply more frequently, the cream is nicely moisturising.

The Dermal Therapy Overnight Face Repair is a great moisturiser that I have been using both day and night, after receiving it at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event. It is designed as a night cream, but I used it day and night to really see its effect on my skin. The cream made my skin glowy and well hydrated, and one of my colleagues actually commented on how dewy my skin looked at work! The thick white cream smooths easily on my skin and is absorbed well. The sweet fragrance - perhaps strawberry? - was surprising, but it disappeared quite quickly once the cream was rubbed into my skin. This moisturiser is an effective hydrator and left my skin feeling smooth and soft.

I received the Maybelline Lifter Stix at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event, and have been enjoying using it as a foundation. I chose colour 30 and it is a great match for my skin colour. The stick glides onto my skin easily, and the creamy foundation is so easy to blend on my skin with my fingers. The cranberry seed oil in the formula is apparently why it glides on so smoothly - I love the feel of it. I am really impressed with how lovely my skin looks with this flattering, glowy foundation on.

I received the Justice Marine Beauty Scalp Scrub at the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty event and have used it once per week over the past two weeks. I enjoy the fragrance of the scrub, and the exfoliating crystals dissolve quite quickly, so it is not rough on my scalp. However, I found this product quite hard to use - it didn't lather or spread through my hair easily, so I had to put little dollops of it in different segments of my scalp to cover all my scalp skin. I also found it hard to wash out, as the product seemed to stick to my hair, so I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed. Even after all the rinsing, when my hair dried, I could feel a strange crunchiness on my hair roots, so it felt like there was still product stuck to my hair. I have quite fine hairs, that are straight, so hair product does have a noticeable effect on my hair. This product just didn't suit my hair.
