Beauty Heaven, you really have to be thanked; firstly for popping me on this particular trial, but secondly for throwing this little gem my way. It really is an unassuming looking serum, but on further inspection, the ingredient list is a bit WOW. There are some well known Winter skin powerhouses, such as B5 and Vitamin E, but they've also included newcomer, Vit B3. Seriously, go look it up. It's magic in quite a few ways, including prevention of Squamous Cell Carcinoma if you've ever had that type of skin cancer before, or pre cancers. It's a very helpful little preventative to have in the arsenal. Back to the serum itself. It's encased in a white plastic pump pack, with silver accents, and contains 25g of product. I've found that one pump is all it takes to apply to face, neck and chest, so it's quite economical. Less is more with this serum, and it absorbs quite quickly, without stickiness, ready for the next step in your routine (I use a face oil as well as a moisturiser). It's a very simple addition to your routine, both morning and night. The serum itself has a silky consistency, almost gel like, and is simple to work with. There is a very faint smell of oat, but I find it pleasant, and it disappears quickly. It's gentle on my skin (I have very thirsty skin), and plumps and hydrates immediately. Long term, it's been nothing short of amazing; ensuring hydration lasts through the day, allowing my skin to be impervious to the elements. My skin feels soothed, looks plumper and the elasticity factor has definitely jumped the fence. For the price point, it'll be staying in my routine.

I'm extremely grateful to have been chosen as part of this trial team, BH, especially after trialling the product. This is quite the hidden gem and delivers on its promise for silkier strands, minus the frizz factor. I'd heard of Tresemme, but had never tried any of the offerings, believing that they wouldn't satisfy my curly hair needs; I was wrong. This conditioner, housed in a very generously sized 940ml bottle, is packed full of hair loving ingredients, including sunflower seed oil (Vit E) and Vitamin A, both known to soften the strands, and leave them frizz free. The conditioner is a lovely, almost mask like consistency, but spreads through the strands easily, coating the hair with moisture and smoothness. It is an exceptional de tangler, my shower comb gliding through without any trouble at all (did I say I have extremely curly hair!), and rinsing away easily. I could feel plenty of slip left on my hair after rinsing, so thought I may be able to get away with no leave in's afterwards (not so, but curly hair, you know). I have been able to use less leave in products after using this shampoo and conditioner duo, though. Bonus. The only problem I have, and the same deal with the shampoo, is the intense level of fragrance. If they dialled it down a little, this one would receive my five stars! It didn't irritate my scalp, though. Winner.

I actually felt very fortunate to be part of the trial team for this product, especially after using it for the first time. Although I've been aware of the brand since forever, I've never tried an offering from the Tresemme range before now. I was never quite sure that the products would suit my curly hair needs; well, I was mistaken. I usually use products without SLS, unless I'm doing a clarifying wash every month or two, so this shampoo fits the bill. It's a very generous sized bottle(940mls), with a handy pump to distribute product, minimising any wastage, and the shampoo itself is a creamy, milky consistency, that distributes easily through the hair. I use a massaging brush to assist me when shampooing, and honestly, this shampoo has plenty of slip, so it all amalgamated like a dream. My hair was left feeling quite silky after rinsing, and pre conditioner, which was a lovely sensation. I would say the only downside for me was the fragrance. I found it a tad overwhelming, and normally prefer a fragrance that is more subtle. It's quite floral, so I could see this being very popular in the Spring/Summer. Having said that though, the product hasn't irritated my sensitive scalp, so that is a bonus.

I was actually really excited to see that Nivea had launched a natural skincare range, especially one with such a high level of naturally sourced ingredients (an impressive 99 percent), the other one percent present as a stabiliser for the active ingredients. Not only that, the jar the product comes in is recyclable! This is a great response, from a very reputable cosmetics company, to increasing demand for care of the planet, as well as the consumer. Well done. Let me begin by saying that I love, love, love this night cream! Nivea Naturally Good aniti age Night Cream has been an absolute boon for my trans seasonal skin! As with most Nivea night cream offerings, it is housed in a navy blue screw topped jar (excellent access for hands that don't often work well. No squeezing necessary!), revealing the decadent creamy concoction inside. There is a gel like consistency to the night cream, but it is more substantial, without being heavy and clogging. The spreadability is amazing, so using less is definitely more, and moves over the facial contours like a dream. Fragrance wise, like it's daytime counterpart, is a sensory delight; gentle flora and herbal notes, that are inoffensive, and quite natural. The scent gradually fades, but your skin is left feeling intensely moisturised, plump, and comforted. This cream comes in to it's own during the transitional seasons, as it prepares the skin for the cooler temps, without any greasy or sticky feeling. One test for me, is to see if I stick to the pillow overnight, and this cream passes with flying colours. My skin is as moisturised and bouncy come morning, as it was the night before. With a good dash of argan oil added, wrinkles are softened, and the tone has improved over time. I would definitely purchase again. The price point alone is attractive, and it certainly has out performed some higher end night creams. Well done, Nivea.

As usual, day creams from Nivea are housed in a round, white, screw topped jar (brilliant for access in my view, no squeezing of tubes), revealing when opened, a delicate, almost gel like cream! The consistency is more substantial than a gel, and smooths on to the skin beautifully. Fragrance wise, I found it a sensory delight of subtle floral and delicate herb, and is very economical, due to the gel/cream's spreadability. Eventually, the scent does fade, but it is inoffensive to the nose, and non irritating. Over time, I found my skin supported, with improved bounce and moisture rentitve properties. With this changing weather, it's been very soothing, prepping my skin for the cooler climes ahead. Wrinkles were softened, and overall, makeup has been easier to apply after this skincare step. The pricepoint is unbeatable value, and I would definitely purchase again.

Thanks, BH, for including me in the trial of Olay's Luminous Niacinamide and Vitamin C Super Serum! I've tried multiple Vitamin C serums in my long journey of taking care of my skin, but this one quickly rose to the top of the pile, and I'll explain why as I move on. The Super Serum is packaged in a rather large pearlescent glass container, with a massive silver lid. The idea is to twist and pump the insert at the top, then unscrew and withdraw a large dropper from the main glass cylinder, and dispense the perfect dosage in to your palm for application. I actually found the concept convoluted, and a little cumbersome to deal with, hence I took off a star in my rating. I'm not fond at all of dropper based anything with packaging for skin care, but it really is my only criticism. The product itself is divine. Serum wise, the product is very silky with a milk like texture, and smells pleasantly citrusy, with no chemical unpleasantness in the undertone. Application is simple, and only a small amount of serum is required to smooth over the face, neck and chest. It is non greasy, absorbs easily, and leaves the skin plump, hydrated and smooth, ready for your next skin care step. As instructed, I used morning and evening, and avoided the eye area. I had no feeling of tightness or irritation, which is always a bonus, and over time, I noticed some very encouraging benefits. Some of the big claims with this serum, were for a boost in brightness and skin luminosity, and yes, I really have noticed a huge improvement in these areas! The most obvious improvement I've seen in my skin, though, is a massive reduction in a rather large sun spot on the side of my face. I've had it for years, and nothing has ever budged the pigmentation before, but it's actually faded significantly since I've started using this serum! I certainly wasn't expecting that effect, but am really pleased with the outcome! I would definitely recommend this serum to anyone who needs to tackle pigmentation of any sort, and a boost to dry, dull skin. It really delivers the goods.

Thanks for the opportunity to trial this amazing eye cream, BH. It's always an exciting experience to trial something new, and give feedback. Olay Retinol 24 Eye Cream is contained in a small purple jar, which matches the night cream. The silver lid, with the off centre O on top is very elegant, and looks great on my bathroom shelf! The twist top easily twists off to reveal a tightened seal, keeping the contents free from any impurities and nasties, but the opening wide enough to access the eye cream with ease. As promised on the packaging, the eye cream is fragrance free (fantastic for use around the eyes. The less irritating the better). The cream appears rich, and thick, but almost has a souffle lightness to it. Using my ring finger, I gently dabbed small dots around my orbital bone, and lightly tapped in. The cream itself is very gentle, and tapped in easily, even though the product is not in any way greasy. It absorbs very quickly, but leaves the area extremely moisturised and smooth. Like the night cream, I did begin slowly, using the eye cream every second night until I knew how my skin would react to the retinol content. There was absolutely no irritation whatsoever, so I upped the usage to every night, and woke to increasingly less visible crows feet, and a firming of my eye bags. I am really impressed with the results over time, and will continue to incorporate this product in to my usual routine.

Firstly, thank you BH for including me in this trial. It's always an exciting moment, when trying out a new product, with an eye to giving feedback on performance! This was definitely no exception. Olay Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser Cream is contained in a very noteworthy deep purple jar, with swirls of an even darker shade of purple, reminiscent of wave patterns in windswept sand. It's particularly elegant, especially when offset by a gleaming silver lid, with and off centre O embossed on top. Presentation wise, it makes a great addition to any bathroom shelf, and gives the impression the contents will be luxurious. The impression is not false. Upon opening the inner seal, you can see the cream is quite thick, as I've come to expect with any night cream worth its salt. As stated, the cream itself is fragrance free, which I appreciate, as it's less likely to cause allergy, and filled to the top. The consistency of the cream, when applied to the face after washing in the evening, is smooth, and slightly gel like, and is easily spreadable. A little goes a long way, and is no way sticky. It was a pleasure to massage in, and my face overnight did not velcro to my pillow case! Always a bonus. I couldn't believe how soft my skin felt from the get go, and was eager to see it's performance over time. I began slowly, as per instructions, and in case I reacted, or had any irritation or peeling, as can happen with products containing retinol. The first week I applied the cream every second night, then every night thereafter. I never had any reaction whatsoever, and my skin remained calm and never peeled. What the cream did achieve, though, was a soft suppleness each morning, with ever growing reduction in fine lines around my forehead, tighter pores around my cheeks, and a lightening of sun spots. I must say, for the price point, I'm very impressed and would reccommend.

I was a bit excited to try the Nad's Facial Wax Strips, because I've tried numerous other brands before, always searching for the holy grail, searching for ease of use, and strips that didn't cause any irritation to my face. A good Aussie owned and made brand, using natural ingredients will always rate highly on the scale too. The strips come in a box of sixteen dual sided strips, small enough to use on the facial area, ie, the 'moustache' and chin, and have a fabric backing, not plastic. I found this pleasing, because the fabric is soft and malleable enough to be gentle and flexible, but firm enough to get a grip on the edge and pull when needed. Bonus! The green wax on the strips has a natural, herbal scent, and wasn't irritating to the nose at all. Simplicity itself to use and apply! You simply rub the strip between your palms, separate the strips, press firmly to the area you wish to wax, then pull it against the hair growth pattern. The instructions are super easy to follow, and I managed to rip out even the toughest chin hairs first go. There was no need to reapply the strip to pull out stragglers, so I used the same strip to do the other side of my chin. This makes them extra economical in my book, and I'll definitely be replacing my usual brand with these. The upper lip hair removal was child's play. The hairs, being softer, almost removed themselves, and there was absolutely no irritation afterwards. Quick, painless, and simple. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience, and Nad's products have found a new home with me.

I did a blind purchase of this little elixir a few weeks ago, when I was strolling through my local supermarket. I'd just run out of my regular serum (probably costs around three times what this one did), and spied this in the personal products section, at a reduced price. Wowzer, I was feeling lucky, so i grabbed one. Unfortunately, I have a rare form of Scleroderma, so skin care, especially where people can SEE it, is of special importance to me. I wasn't going without my serum, no way! I popped the lid off the elegant, pearl coloured cylinder, and revealed a neat little plastic pump nozzle. It actually dispenses neat little doses of product in correct portions, so wastage is avoided. The serum itself is a pale yellow/cream colour, and has a faintly botanical scent. It's not offensive to the nose, but quite comforting and natural. I was a tad nervous that I would have a reaction once I'd smoothed the silky fluid over my face and chest, but instead, my skin felt comforted and soothed. Results? After a few weeks of use, my skin has less redness and inflammation, is soothed, and very hydrated. I'm very impressed, and will probably give others in the range a go.
