As makeup wipes go, these are okay. I don't wear waterproof makeup or anything that's too difficult to remove. There's no noticeable scent in these and I like how they are pretty gentle on the skin. Although one wipe is enough to get rid of most of my makeup, I always follow up with a proper cleanser as there's always traces of makeup in my pores after using these. I tend to use makeup wipes up fairly quickly and I've noticed that these dry out (even when sealed properly) in the packet a bit faster than my other home brand makeup wipes do (eg. priceline/woolworths). Maybe it's because these wipes aren't that very drenched in product in the first place.

I'm very picky with my mascaras as I have hooded oily lids and sparse, straight, short lashes. I really like the shape of this wand for my bottom lashes but it is a bit big for my top lashes and I often get some transfer onto my lids during application. Once it dries, it doesn't flake or smudge onto my top or bottom lids for a good 9 hours. It's just okay at holding a curl (my eyelashes still droop a bit) but separates pretty well and doesn't clump if 2 layers are used. It provides more length than volume, and may not necessarily suit people who want more dramatic lashes. It's not as easy to remove with warm water as the Covergirl clump crusher (non-waterproof version) so I definitely recommend using an eye-safe makeup remover.

I have this in 'pink glow' which is a frosty champagne pink more suited for lighter skin tones. It's quite soft and dusty to the touch and has small traces of glitter. Since it's not very firmly pressed into the pan, I usually get a bit of fallout so tapping off the excess is a must otherwise the product tends to migrate all over the face The good thing is that it's easily picked up with a fan brush and a light hand, and is pretty buildable. It lasts 6 hours on my combination skin before fading slightly.

I have these in no.s 7 (peach nude), 8 (warm pink) and 10 (mauve nude) I prefer using 7 and 8 as cheek stains because they don't show up very well on my pigmented lips. If I wear them as lip stains, I have to build them up in multiple layers and then they tend to cling to dry patches on the lips. On the cheeks, they blend slightly better on bare/moisturized skin compared to over foundation/powder but they still work well in both situations. They last about 8 hours on my combination skin before fading slightly No 10 is my favourite lip colour to wear to work; it doesn't crack or leave disgusting crustiness around the edges with excessive/prolonged talking (that a lot of matte lipsticks do), has a nice velvet matte finish yet doesn't feel drying on the lips. It has a little bit of slip hence has noticeable transfer onto cups, but wears away very nicely after 4 hours, leaving an even stain behind. The scent is typical of ysl rouge volupte lipsticks (artificial mango), but isn't noticeable once applied and has no taste if you refrain from licking your lips in the first 5 mins of application.

I have this in 'oh darling', 'beaming blush' and 'soft frost'. The first two are quite firmly pressed so a dense brush (rather than a fan brush) is best used to pick up the product. They are very intense when used dry and absolutely blinding when used wet, and they also tend to emphasize pores and skin texture. I find them a little bit high maintenance than most highlighters as I need to take more time to blend these carefully otherwise they just look like a harsh stripe on the cheeks. 'Soft frost' has a slightly different formula; it's creamier and has more of a subtle duochrome sheen. These last about 6 hours on my combination skin before fading slightly.

I have this in the shade 102 Scream and Shout (peachy pink with a creme finish) and it is quite similar to the L'Oreal colour riche extraordinaire lip gloss in the shade Nude Vibrato except you get an extra 2ml of product with this and they both retail for the same price. My particular shade has a sweet fruity scent but I've heard that the different finishes in this line have different scents. Just like the extraordinaire lip gloss line, this lighter colour in the range applies streakily and has sheer pigmentation. It feels lighter on the lips compared to the extraordinaire line, and lasts only for 3 hours before touch-up is required. The applicator is a flexible hexagonal shape and distributes the product evenly. The pointed tip makes it really easy to apply the gloss in a defined manner. This gloss does feel a bit tacky on the lips and isn't as moisturizing as the extraordinaire line.

I've acquired quite a collection of these since my first one gifted by BH and these are my favourite drugstore lip glosses. The lighter nude colours tend to be streaky with light to almost medium pigmentation whereas the brighter colours apply evenly, don't look streaky and have high pigmentation. They feel fairly thick and cushiony on the lips but not tacky like the Nyx butter glosses when they dry down slightly. These are way more moisturizing than any other gloss I've tried and last longer on the lips (5 hours without eating/drinking). They also wear away evenly and don't tend to exacerbate dry patches on the lips. All the colours have a sweet fruity smell (and taste) that fades away a few minutes after application. I prefer using the nude glosses on top of lipstick because they don't show up very well on my pigmented lips.

When I first bought this, I was less than impressed as this brow gel seemed to take off whatever powder/pencil formula that was sitting underneath on my brows. After 3 months of daily use, this has become a staple in my brow routine. When the tube is brand new, the formula of the brow gel is very wet so I think now that the gel's dried out a bit, it clings to my brow hairs a little bit easier and dispenses less of a gloop of product. The wand is a standard cone-shaped brush with firm bristles that picks up a lot of the product so I always have to wipe the excess off. I use the dark brown shade and it is a neutral brown suitable for people with dark brown to black hair. This brow gel is slightly waterproof but can be easily removed with micellar cleansing water/facial wash. I usually wear this for 12 hours (since that's how long my uni/work days are) and my brows are always looking natural and kept well in place. I wouldn't recommend this brow gel for someone with very sparse brows as the tint and fibres do not adhere to skin particularly well.

My holy grail mascara is the clump crusher and this doesn’t hold a candle to that. For one thing, the wand is extremely fat and large and the bristles are way too short to properly dispense any product so what you’d end up doing is applying more than 2 coats and end up with a clumpy mess. The plastic wand is also much harder and more uncomfortable on the eyes. The non-waterproof version is fairly easy to remove with micellar cleansing water but unlike the clump crusher, this mascara does smudge and flake on my oily hooded lids after about 4 hours of wear. Because the wand is straight, it doesn’t curl my lashes much and I find the overall lengthening and volumizing effects of this mascara fall short compared to the clump crusher. You get natural lashes at best and certainly nothing close to dramatic.

I alternate between this and the extensions version of this mascara the entire year round. I do notice slightly more lengthening with the extensions version of this so that is my go-to although I’m happy to buy whichever version is on sale. This is my holy grail mascara because it doesn’t smudge or flake on my oily hooded lids even when I use it on my bottom lashes. It lasts on my lashes the entire day no matter how hot it is and is easy to remove with micellar cleansing water at the end of the day. It does not make my eyelashes weak, like some mascaras tend to do. The wand is slightly curved and is not too large for my small asian eyes. Although the wand is plastic, the bristles are not hard or scratchy. I usually apply only 2 coats for greater length, volume and blackness as 3 coats can make my lashes look clumpy. The effect is slightly more dramatic than natural daily lashes and is great as a base for fake eyelash bands. It doesn’t hold a curl particularly well but that is likely because my straight and short lashes are quite difficult to curl. It has a somewhat pleasant smell in the tube that reminds me of caffeine and the packaging says that the shelf life of this mascara is 6 months. I tend to use this up and throw out within 4 months anyway as the product dries up otherwise. An important thing to note is that this mascara is not waterproof and will most definitely run if you cry/swim. It does last through an intense 6 hour hiking session (intermediate difficulty) in 30 degree heat though.
