I was lucky enough to try Synergie Skin Effica C in the recent Glosscar awards beauty box. While I hadn’t heard of this brand before, it was excited to try a new Vitamin C serum. Coming in a sleek and modern glass bottle, it has an easy to use pump top and also looks great on my vanity! This is a light weight serum that is so gentle- no stinging or heavy fragrance. After cleansing and serum I apply the vitamin C before my moisturiser in the morning. It settles quickly and easily into my skin. My makeup glides on evenly. My skin has been looking brighter but will definitely like to see further results as I’ve only been using it for 3 weeks. While it is on the more expensive side at $125, it’s certainly worth trying.

I recently was lucky enough to try Aesthetics RX Total Repair DNA Serum in this years Glosscar beauty box. I was very excited to try this serum as I had seen reviews for it. This serum comes in a glamorous and sleek white glass bottle with a dropper top. I have been using this as part of my night routine after cleansed skin and before my night moisturiser. It’s a light milky consistency. Only a small amount is needed to cover your face and neck avoiding your eye area. There is no real fragrance to it. My skin feels soft and looks bright and refreshed in the morning. While it is quite expensive at $159, it’s worth the money. I’m looking forward to continued use to see more results. This is a luxury worth trying.

Thank you Beauty Heaven for including me in this years Glosscar awards beauty box! I have been using Sukin Skin Relief Body Lotion for about 3 weeks now. This comes in a 500ml plastic pump bottle which modern and clean line. I have been using this morning and night and enjoying that this product has no nasties. My skin feels hydrated and soft. The hydration seems to last throughout the day without drying my skin. You don’t need a lot as it goes a long way. There is no real fragrance which is great especially for sensitive skin. The fact that this a a great Australian brand at a great price is a winner for me. I’ll buy this again

Thanks Beauty Heaven for including me in this years Glosscar awards beauty box trial. I was lucky enough to try Glow Labs Pro- Collagen Plumping Night Cream. I’ve been using this cream for about 3 weeks.This comes in a beautiful glass jar with a black lid and lovely cream, gold and mauve on the jar description. Upon opening the jar, a light feminine fragrance was revealed. The consistency of the cream is lightweight and gentle yet more hydrating than I expected. A little goes a long way. In the morning, my skin felt soft and firmer and well prepared for my morning skincare routine. I’m looking forward to continued use and continued results. Definitely will buy again.

I was lucky enough to be included in this years Glosscar awards trial beauty box. I’ve been using this lip balm for nearly 3 weeks now. I found Burt’s Bees squeeze tinted lip balm to be bright and hydrating. The packaging is a small smooth tube that’s very modern and feminine and very easy to pop in your handbag or small purse. So convenient and quick to hydrate your lips. It come in four different flavours. I tried the Mandarin Granita flavour. I didn’t particularly love the flavour but would love to try the other flavours. I’d recommend trying this lip balm as Burt’s Bees is such a great company with lovely products.

I was very lucky to be chosen for a trial for Loreal Midnight Serum. Thanks Beauty Heaven! Upon opening the sealed box, I was happy to see a very glamorous, luxe and sleek looking brown glass bottle. It had a dropper with a gold lid. So attractive sitting in my bathroom. After cleansing and toning, I applied 3-4 drops. I first noticed how silky it felt on my fingers. It had a light, gentle fragrance which was so feminine and not at all overpowering as some products do. I’ve been using the serum for 3 weeks now and I’m very happy with the results. It’s easy to apply and I wake up with soft, smooth and refreshed looking skin. I’ve noticed that each week my skin feels and looks softer and more radiant.

Thank you Beauty Heaven for the opportunity to trial this night cream. I started this trial 3 weeks ago and am quite pleased with the results. As with other Nivea creams, Nivea Naturally Good Anti Age Night Cream comes in (Nivea Blue) plastic jar sealed with foil for added freshness of the cream. On opening the jar, I first noticed such a lovely feminine and fresh fragrance without being overpowering. The texture is soft and lighter weight than I expected. After cleansing my skin at nighttime, I use this with my usual routine of my serum and eye cream then apply the night cream. While it’s lighter in consistency than my usual night cream it absorbs quickly without any greasy feeling. When I wake in the morning, my skin feels soft, hydrated and refreshed. My husband has commented that my skin is looking brighter in the morning- so I’m happy with that! I love the natural ingredients such as jojoba, argon, almond oils and Vitamin E. It’s good to know this cream still helps my aging skin without extra chemicals. At great price and easy to buy locally, I’ll purchase this night cream again.

As with most of the Nivea Creams, Naturally Good Anti Age cream comes in a plastic jar sealed with foil for added freshness of the product. On opening, the first thing I noticed was the light, fresh and feminine fragrance without it being overpowering. The cream is white in colour with a soft texture. The cream is lightweight and absorbs well into the skin without leaving any residue. After my morning shower and cleansed skin, I apply the cream with my usual routine after my serum and eye cream. It can be worn with or without makeup. I find that my makeup is easily applied on top with any greasy feeling and my makeup stays in place throughout the day. A little goes a long way. I love the fact that it’s a natural product in the Nivea range. The listed natural products such as Jojoba, almond and argon oil and vitamin E make me feel I’m doing something good for my skin while still getting results that I need particularly as I’m aging. At such a great price and easy to find in local stores, I will purchase again.

I received this rosehip oil in my Beauty rewards haul. This is a lightweight rosehip oil that is nourishing and soothing on my skin. I hadn’t tried this brand before but was pleasantly surprised. I like that it has no nasties and is certified organic with no animal testing and it’s Australian. The bottle has a dropper top which is easy to use. I’ve used it both morning and night which leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated helping to fight my aging process. It’s easy to find in both pharmacies and supermarkets at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely give it a go again.

I received this lovely mist toner in my Beauty rewards haul. This is a lightweight cooling rose mist toner that feeling cooling on my skin I use it everyday morning and night in my skincare routine. The bottle has a spray top to evenly mist the face and neck. Lightweight enough for my serums to be applied straight away. I particularly like this mist as it has no nasties and is Australian. While I don’t find it very hydrating, it does it’s job quite well.
