I recently had the opportunity to try this brow mousse and I was surprisingly impressed as a gal who usually uses a brow pencil and sets with a gel. The superfluff brow mousse does exactly what it says, it creates full brows. I will say though that I find them to be quite bold but it may just be that I am still learning to apply as this is a totally new product for me. This brow mousse is super affordable (often on sale at the major pharmacies) and easy to find. I took 1 star off because it’s limited to 4 shades, I had the second lightest shade (soft brown) which really feels like a medium brown when applied so those with lighter hair may struggle a bit. Application is quick and easy, though I did still give my brows a brush through with a clean spoolie just to get off the excess product. Also it lasted well throughout the day without any ‘crunchiness’ (IYKYK).

I wanted to love this product and was so excited to try but unfortunately it’s a miss for me! What I liked: *the ingredients! This included some of my favourites such as jojoba, What I didn’t like: * contains parfum, very very strong fragrance! Honestly it smells like old lady (not that that’s a bad thing and my kids and many of my co-workers consider me an old lady but it just wasn’t my vibe, I’m not a regular old lady, I’m a cool old lady haha) *it takes forever to soak in and feels more like a barrier/protective cream then a hydrating night cream, like it just sits on top of the skin *did nothing for my skin in terms of hydrating or plumpness *the packaging feels very cheap Overall, the formulation is not for me.

I have long enjoyed lash enhancements for nights out and special occasions as I have super short, light, sparse lashes naturally. What I liked: *Affordable and readily available to buy *soft and fluffy *can be cut to size *reusable (although I doubt anyone is getting 12 uses out of 1 pair!) What I didn’t like: *these are rated ‘natural’ but I still find them quite dramatic, certainly wouldn’t wear them as an every day look (but that’s totally subjective) *can be tricky to apply - I hate applying strip lashes despite having years of practice including doing a professional makeup course These are a good product if you like strip lashes, however there are so many new options on the market that are more natural looking and easier to apply so these would not be my first preference when buying lashes.

I recently had the opportunity to trial this miracle spray but sadly it didn’t deliver on its promises for me. For context I have medium length, thin, very flat hair. Firstly what I liked: *Cute and functional packaging *affordable price point *didn’t weigh down my thin hair or make me greaser (which is something I struggle with) *hair felt soft *no sls ( not typically found in blow dry sprays anyway) or parabens, not tested on animals What I didn’t like: *it failed to deliver! I did not experience the ‘serious shine, next level smoothness and effective humidity control’. My hair was fluffy and had no additional shine than when I use a regular heat protector/blow dry cream. *includes fragrance, unable to determine if derived from essential oils or other sources (I prefer no fragrance where possible) I followed the instructions, washed my hair, then divided into sections and dried using a blow dry brush and then straightened the ends. Overall a disappointing product that did nothing for my hair type, however I will trial on my daughter’s hair (1 super fine, curly and frizzy and the other super thick and straight) and report back.

I have already submitted this review however it asking me to submit again. I recently had the opportunity to trial this styler set and I was impressed. I have thin hair that is quite limp so anything designed to give extra volume is always a win for me! I already use a round bristle blow dry brush so I was excited to see how this compared. All I can say is that if you have fine hair the this set is an absolute game changer. I started off with wet hair and used the drying concentrator to roughly dry my hair. I then sectioned off my hair and trialled the root boost attachment which worked really well to add volume at the root. I also tried each of the round attachments and found they all gave good volume, dried my hair quicker than any other blow dry brush I had used and with the inclusion of the ceramic plates I definitely noticed that my hair was smoother with less flyaways, especially when finishing off with the cool shot to set my style. I did try and do some loose curls with the 25mm round brush with little success but I think that was purely user in experience! lol I need to watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to do that. I also used the firm paddle brush on my daughter who has curly hair and the results were lovely. It gave a really smooth and shiny natural blow wave effect which she loved and was super quick. My only complaint is that the attachments get really hot and even doing a shot of cold before changing out the heads they were still so hot so I had to use a towel to swap them out so just be careful not to burn yourself. Overall a great product, at a reasonable price point. I also really liked the case that it came in which makes it easy to store and travel with. I would choose this one over others I have used on the market as it dries the hair quicker, added the most volume I’ve ever been able to achieve and provided a smoother result.

I have been using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo for almost a month. I have fine, flat hair that gets very oily at the roots. When used with the shampoo I found this conditioner kept my hair feeling fresh, clean, shiny and manageable without being weighed down or flat. Typically if I wash my hair in the morning, it is oily by night time. With this pairing of shampoo and conditioner I felt my hair was in better condition and didn’t get as oily as quickly, meaning I could go a little longer between washes and didn’t need to use dry shampoo. It also made blow drying after a breeze and as the conditioner is light weight I found the volume held much better without the need for lots of styling products which is what I normally need. A great product that’s good value for money. I will continue to use.

I used this shampoo in conjunction with the matching conditioner. For context my hair is mid to long in length, super fine and tends to be very oily. When I use the wrong shampoo my hair feels oily still even after washing it. I found this shampoo to be great value for money and when doing a double wash every second day my hair felt clean and it kept the oil at bay. The pump pack is convienient and you get a huge amount of product for your money. The shampoo it’s self lathers well and really cleans the hair without leaving it knotty.

The age perfect cell renewal midnight serum is an antioxidant recovery complex that claims to wake up new cells to improve skin radiance and firmness. I trialled this product for over a month and I quite liked it. The serum itself was a yellowy colour which I felt like gave my skin an instant glow. I also found it to be nicely hydrating. Unfortunately I didn’t notice an improvement in firmness and the radiance seemed to be transient, so it was radiant but only while I had it on. The serum was thin and you only need a very little bit to spread over your face and neck so the product will last a long time. It worked really well during the day layers under my other skin care and make up. It also worked well layered with my night time products. I’m not sure if I had a defective bottle but it was really hard to get the product up into the little pipette which was strange. Overall I really enjoyed using this serum and will continue to use it all up. I probably wouldn’t repurchase as I prefer products that give me a bit more bang for my buck so I tend to stick with cosmeceutical skin care.

I recently had the opportunity to trial this product through BH. It seemed like fate because I had recently been researching for a straightening brush but I had been told with my longish thin hair that they aren’t ideal. I’ll level with you, they aren’t the best option for me and I won’t be throwing away my straightener anytime soon. Having said that, I found this brush to be a really great top up tool for already styled hair. I would straighten my hair in the morning, go to work then head to the gym or for a run after. Coming home I would end up with the dreaded frizz and also mark from my pony tail so this little beauty was perfect at smoothing things back down again before heading out to drinks with the girls. I also trialled this on my daughters, one has short thick hair and the other has medium long curly hair. For the thick hair it gave a nice and quick smoothing effect and worked great. As the hair is thick and straight on its own it doesn’t normally require much styling (wish my hair was like that) so this just added a nice bit of polish. For my daughter with fine curly hair, it took about 15 minutes and the effect was like getting a blow wave. There was still a little texture and wave but it was super shiny and smooth and in much less time than it would take to blow dry! So it worked great for her too. My only issue was that the charge only lasts around 20-25mins so it pretty much needs to be charged after every 1 to 2 uses. Which I find annoying, especially since I have other small rechargeable devices that can last all night! Overall I really liked it. It was quick and convenient as well as worked for a range of hair types and lengths. For me I find it best for a quick touch up so I still need my straighter, for thick straight hair it would def be my go to and I loved it for giving a blow dried effect on curly hair. I think for curly girls and guys it could be a real game changer in terms of helping prolong a good blow dry.
