I received the Nivea Sun Protect and Moisturise Moisturising Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ Trigger Spray from Beautyheaven to trial. I found initially that opening the bottle was a little tricky and took some strength. Using the trigger to spray the sunscreen it isn’t a weak spray like other spray sunscreens I’ve tried. It doesn’t drip or dribble any sunscreen which is a plus. I found the smell of this sunscreen better than most. It was easy to apply and spread across the skin and didn’t leave too much of an oily, shiny, sunscreen look. It was nice to read that the formula is made in australia and 5+ 1. UVA protection UVB protection Water resistance Moisture lock Dermatologically tested And ocean respect Reading on the back ocean respect means that it is 100% compliant with the Hawaii Reef Bill. Readily biodegradable formula. Yet it’s stored in a thick plastic bottle. Overall the sunscreen smelt better than most, was moisturising and didn’t leave that traditional sunscreen look or feel. But the packaging might need a rethink in order to be less impactful on the environment.

I have been part of the Beautyheaven Trial Team for the Nivea Naturally Good Cleansing Tonic. I don't use toners often as I have quite sensitive skin and have had a hard time in the past with them. I've found that they either make my skin super dry, super oily or I end up with a reaction so I was pretty interested to see if this toner would work for me. I was happy to read that this Nivea Naturally Good product offers 100% transparency on all the ingredients used in the product and is also advertised as vegan. 98% of ingredients are of natural origin and 2% are non-natural additional ingredients. No parabens, silicones, mineral oils and phenoxyethanol but it isn't soap or alcohol free. Ingredients include the following: Aqua, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lactate, Levulinic Acid, Sodium Levulinate, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Linalool, Limonene, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Parfum. Upon opening the packaging of this product the green tea smell was quite strong and, although a fan of green tea, I was worried it would be a bit too full on when in use but after a while it settles and is quite pleasant. Following the instructions, after cleansing I would used cotton buds with the NIVEA NATURALLY GOOD CLEANSING TONIC and sweep them over my face. I found that the product was able to pick up any dirt or makeup that was left on my face. After using the product for two weeks my skins hasn't felt dry or oily. i haven't had any bad reactions or issues and due to this I would say that I was pleasantly surprised with this product.

Lemongrass is a favourite smell of mine so when i came across the Natio essential oils and found they make a lemongrass i just had to try it. This is perfect and I'm now obsessed. only a couple drops and the room is filled with the cleansing, uplifting smell. it's gorgeous.

Recently found Natio essential oils and I'm a big fan. Only a couple drops and the smells subtly fills the room. it's not overpowering. The oils have no synthetic nasties in them so all natural ingredients. This particular smell is refreshing, uplifting and makes the home smell clean. I love lemon myrtle!

I've been looking for a nice, natural lemon scent to fill my home. I love anything lemon but have had trouble finding essential oils that smell natural rather than a candy/fake type and that don't include nasty synthetic ingredients. This essential oil is perfect. A beautiful natural scent which is very pleasant, i use a couple drops and the room is filled. It's not overpowering either. Perfect!

The Blessed by Nature Antioxidant Daily Renewal Cream is a daily moisturiser created with natural ingredients which is said to reduce the signs of ageing. It includes vitamins A, C, E, cocoa, rose, lavender and oils. I was happy to learn that this is an Australia brand and is 100% Australian made. The packaging is a fresh, clean, white design with floral elements. I thought the love heart on the top of the box was a sweet little touch. The smell of the cream is divine – I really enjoyed the smell. It’s refreshing, lingers for a little while but isn’t overpowering. The cream itself is a perfect thickness and feels very smooth on the skin. I love that the cream doesn’t sit on the skin but absorbs quite easily unlike other moisturisers. The fact the cream isn’t greasy or too thick is great. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the price of the cream. It is an inexpensive but effective product that I feel is good value for money! Not only that, I feel like the product goes a long way so for the amount you receive it will last a long time. I am interested in trying more Blessed by Nature products after being impressed by this product.

I tried the Glowlab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream as part of a Trial Team. Previously, I have not used this brand and was pleasantly surprised. It was lovely to learn that the ingredients are natural and are not tested on animals. The packaging was very attractive and the cream stored in a glass tub with rose gold lid. The cream is light, non-greasy and smooth on my skin. It has a nice feel and texture to it and does not leave my skin oily or shiny. I found that the cream absorbed well and having the cream on overnight resulted in my skin feeling nice and smooth, moisturised and soft. I also enjoyed the smell of the cream, it isn’t too much or overly fragrant. Overall the Glowlab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream is an affordable night cream that works well. I’ll be investigating more Glowlab products as i was quite impressed with the quality of this product.

I have thick, curly, at times frizzy hair. So I'm always on the look out for quality products that can help add or keep the moisture in my hair. There are 3 intended ways to use the Fructis Hydrating Aloe Vera Hair Food – as a conditioner, a mask and a leave in. I tried the product one a number of occasions as a conditioner and as a mask. I firstly tried the mask as a conditioner and as instructed, applied it to my wet hair after shampooing. Initially it felt like the product was drying out my hair and I started to freak out a little. The feel of my hair changed instantly upon application. After washing out the hair food my hair felt clean and smooth but still kind of dry. My hair seemed to dry a lot quicker than it previously would. Once completely dry I was impressed with how shiny and clean my hair looked. there was less frizz but I felt that i had lost a bit of volume. I also tried the product as a mask. So after shampooing and conditioning i applied the mask and left it in for 1 minute. I found that this gave me a better result. My hair was again shiny, clean, smooth and the frizziness was minimal. Applying a mask rather than using it as a conditioner resulted in my hair retaining a bit more volume. I'm keen to try the product as a leave in! Overall I'm pretty happy with how the product worked on my hair.

I tried the Garnier Organics Regenerating Lavandin Anti Age Eye Cream with their Regenerating Lavandin Anti-Age Night Cream. The packaging was very cute with pastel green matched with purple lavender – quite an attractive look in my opinion. The cream itself is housed in a little pale green plastic tube. Garnier has made a commitment to Green Beauty which I read up about on their website and the fact sheets received so the plastic tube is actually made from zero virgin plastic. The product is a white colour and is quite thin in texture. Again a little definitely goes a long way with this product so if you’re trying it be aware of this. Unlike the Night Cream the smell of the eye cream is not as intense. I actually enjoyed the faint smells of the eye cream as they were relaxing in a way. The product wasn’t oily or heavy and absorbed quite well. Overall I was impressed with this product after a couple days of using it I could see a slight difference which Is amazing. A plus being this is a natural product! Additionally, I liked that the ingredients are listed on the back and it is explained what the source of each ingredient is. I thought this was an awesome idea.

To be honest, I have used Garnier facial creams and products in the past and have not been the biggest fan of them. I was keen to try the Garnier Organics Regenerating Lavandin Anti-Age Night Cream though as I liked the fact it was vegan and organic. First impression – I thought the pastel green matched with the purple lavender was an attractive look. Definitely moving away from the previous Garnier packaging designs which will help this new organic range really stand out among the rest. The cream itself is housed in a glass container which has a pale green lid. The product is a pale purple colour and is quiet thick. A little definitely goes a long way so if you’re trying this product be aware of that. I’m not a massive fan of lavender so the smell for me was at first a little too much and kind of sickly but it seemed to dull down and after I was able to tolerate it with no worries. In the past I’ve found that Garnier products sit on my skin rather and don’t really absorb, this product was different though. It absorbed quite well and felt pretty moisturising. Although I haven’t been impressed in the past with Garnier products I was pleasantly surprised with their Regenerating Lavandin Anti-Age Night Cream. I was also very impressed with the fact that Garnier has made a commitment to Green Beauty which I read up about on their website and the fact sheets received. More companies should take this action.
