As part of Beauty Heaven's Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign that I was lucky to be part of, I was sent The Booty Co. Collagen Booty Mask to try. As the name suggests this mask is to treat the bum. Not something I would purchase for myself, but for the purpose of the trial I had to use it, right? The mask contains goodies such as pink clay, pomegranate, vitamin E, aloe vera juice and witch hazel. It is formulated to deep cleanse and rejuvenating the skin while encouraging production of collagen. As much as I adore the pastel peachy pink packaging (wow that's a lot of p's lol) my eye sight is not very good and I do find the white lettering against this colour hard to read. Instructions are easy, apply generously, leave on for 15-20 minutes then remove. What I was surprised by was the delicious scent when I unscrewed the lid and took the insert out. This mask smells so good I could eat it and I understand why they added that this product should not be ingested. Think vanilla frosting, a drizzle of caramel, yummmmm. For a clay mask this product is quite light, almost like a whipped consistency. Easy to apply to the skin. I just slapped some on and left it on while I used the epilator on my body before I had a shower, which also made removal easy. Results were...fine. I am not unhappy about the texture of my butt, most of the time it's covered anyway so it's really not an area that I feel the need to treat. Now here's where the mask is a winner for me and that's using on my face, apart from wanting to lick it! It does dry on the skin, but not to the point where some clay masks will crack with movement, it was quite comfortable to let sit and do its thing. I've had some breakouts of late and this mask reduced the redness, left my skin cleansed but also nice and hydrated. My face felt so smooth. The Booty Co. Collagen Beauty Mask may not be a product for me as its intended use, but as a face mask I love it!

I was fortunate enough to be sent the Toni & Guy Colour Radiance Conditioner to try as part of Beauty Heaven's Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign. I do not have colour treated hair, however it is bleached with highlights and I need haircare products that are kind to my damaged hair. This conditioner is sulfate-free and has been formulated with Argan oil to preserve the vibrancy of colour treated hair. It comes in packaging recognizable of the Toni & Guy brand, this one has a red background with clear branding and product info on the label. It has a mild floral fragrance that is quite pleasant. The conditioner is rich in consistency, but not heavy and doesn't feel like it weighs my hair down. It just melts into my hair during application and I like to let it infuse into my strands while I complete my shower routine. Rinsing is a breeze. I have fine hair that tangles very easily and found that after using this conditioner I was able to run a wide-toothed comb through my hair without too much resistance. Once my hair was dry is where this product shines, quite literally. My hair was soft and had a healthy shine which can be hard to achieve in my blonde hair. Although the Toni & Guy Colour Radiance Shampoo is obviously for dyed hair, I found it suitable for my bleached hair and feel that I could recommend it to those with colour treated hair.

I don't currently have dye in my hair, but I do have highlights and have to be selective with what haircare I use on my damaged hair. This shampoo is sulfate-free and has been formulated with Argan oil to preserve the vibrancy of colour treated hair. It comes in packaging recognizable of the Toni & Guy brand, this one having a red background with clear branding and product info on the label. It has a mild floral fragrance that is quite pleasant. The shampoo has a silky smooth consistency that spreads well into the hair during application. It lathers nicely and rinses out easily. I love that my hair feels clean without being stripped. My hair also doesn't feel stringy and tangled after use like some shampoos can make my hair feel. Although the Toni & Guy Colour Radiance Shampoo is obviously for dyed hair, I found it suitable for my bleached hair and feel that I could recommend it to those with colour treated hair.

As part of Beauty Heaven's Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign I received the Burt's Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm to try. With very dry lips, lip balm is a must for me and anything vanilla scented gets my attention. Burt's Bees lip balms are formulated with 100 percent natural ingredients including shea butter and vitamin E to hydrate and soften the lips and of course this one includes delicious vanilla bean. I have used the original version of this lip balm in the past and was content with the soothing and hydrating properties that were delivered to my dry and often cracked lips. Although the formula is the same, the vanilla bean certainly does not disappoint and makes wearing this lip balm both nourishing and a pleasant experience. If you're a fan of vanilla like me, you need to try the Burt's Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm. It's not just your average fake vanilla, this is the real deal!

I received the Therabreath Icy Mint Oral Rinse as part of the Beauty Heaven Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign. This mouthwash has been formulated by a dentist to fight bad breath immediately with its oxygenating compound. Using twice a day after brushing ensures 24 hours of reduced bad breath. With bacteria causing gum damage, I am conscious of my need to use mouthwash to help with bad breath. I am not a fan of strong mint flavours, they can sometimes cause a burning sensation in my mouth and make my eyes water. This was a worry of mine when I read the Icy Mint on the label. Fortunately this has the strength to provide a minty breath without it being too strong for me. I really appreciate that this is an alcohol free formula which makes it less damaging in the mouth, however, sometimes this can mean less protection from bad breath. Not so with this oral rinse, it really keeps bad breath at bay all day. I also love that clean mouth feel that this rinse provides. The Therabreath brand is new to me but the Oral Rinse has quickly become a staple in my teeth care routine.

Thanks to Beauty Heaven I was sent the Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch set of 24 as part of the Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign. One thing I didn't think I would deal with when almost turning 50 was pimples. Still! Yet here I am, but that also means I could put these patches to the test. The patches are made from medical-grade hydrocolloid which is suitable for sensitive skin and works to draw out impurities and giving the area a clean environment. The patches also discourage picking at pimples, which is something I am definitely guilty of. The patches come in a cardboard packet on non stick paper. They are similar to round bandaids but less noticeable and close to pea size in diameter. The patches stick well to the skin and being recommended to use overnight means they do not budge while sleeping. They do pull at the skin a little when removing, but that is a small price to pay and better than not being sticky enough. Using overnight results in pimples being less red and the white head I tried a patch on was no longer by morning and looked like it had had days of healing. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patches, so glad I have the 24 pack to use! I also noticed that they have larger sized patches which I need in my life for those hormonal breakouts.

I received the Dermal Therapy Very Dry Face Cleanser as part of the Beauty Heaven Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway Campaign. I have used a few products from this brand and was keen to give this cleanser a try. As the name suggests the cleanser is formulated for those with dry skin. It is a gentle formula containing ceramides, hyaluronic acid, urea and colloidal oatmeal. These ingredients are known for their hydrating and repairing properties. The cleanser comes in a plastic bottle with handy pump-top dispenser. It has a creamy consistency that is rich but not too heavy. This product has a pleasant unisex fragrance, hard to describe but is common to the brand's line of products. One pump of this cleanser is enough for my face and neck. It's so creamy and gentle on the skin. Adequately cleansing while providing hydration for parched skin. I love the silky feel as I massage into my skin. Equally as important is ease of removal, which this cleanser has. It leaves no residue on my skin. I do have dehydrated skin and would not class it as very dry, however I love this cleanser. I prefer creams and appreciate that this cleanser is not an issue for my skin that can be problematic at times, especially being prone to hormonal breakouts. The cleanser does not clog my skin. I am so glad I had the opportunity to use the Dermal Therapy Very Dry Face Cleanser. Since using I have not wanted to reach for another cleanser!

I was fortunate to be sent the Remington Sapphire Luxe Airstyler to review as part of the Biggest Ever Beauty Giveaway campaign. I'm not an avid user of hair devices, but I do like trying new things so was happy to put this styler to the test. The hair styler is a barrel hair dryer that comes with 3 attachments, a drying concentrator, 50 mm ceramic coated bristle brush and conical ceramic coated curling wand. Included is also a heat resistant glove. The styler boasts 1000 watts of power with 2 heat/speed settings and a cool shot setting. Styling attachments are ceramic coated and sapphire infused to create silky, shiny hair. With the ability to dry, prep and style hair, it's the only device needed to create a finished look. The heads are easy to attach and remove. I also appreciate that the styler has a swivel cord to prevent tangling while in use. I use after showering, beginning with the concentrator attachment to almost dry my hair as it's best for hair to be slightly damp to style. I then tried the brush attachment to give my hair volume, but this was a difficult process for me. Not because of the bristles, but because my hair is fine and is a tangled mess even after combing through more than once. The conical attachment was a breeze to use to create those popular loose curls. I really loved the results and was surprised I could get curls with an airstyler that were not frizzy. If I can style my hair with the Remington Sapphire Luxe Airstyler, anyone can! I may have struggled with the brush on my difficult hair, but creating those curls with the conical attachment was a breeze! I love a multipurpose tool and the Airstyler covers all bases to style the hair. And with the golden accents, it looks great too!

I was fortunate to be sent the Manicare All-In-One Nail Therapy Oil to trial. I am tough on my nails, whether it's my use of gels or gardening, my nails are often neglected, so was a perfect candidate to put this product to the test. This nail treatment is jam-packed with oils such as argan, jojoba, macadamia and avocado. It also contains vitamin C and E. The formulation is not only hydrating, but strengthening. The nail oil comes in a bottle with 12 ml of product that is dispensed via the dropper. It is a completely transparent oil that is quite fluid in consistency. This oil has a sweet fragrance that is caramel-like. Only a small drop of oil is needed for each nail. It feels so nice massaging into the nails and absorbs rather quickly. Makes for easy to use daily. Not only does the oil hydrate the nail area, it also gives the nails a natural, healthy shine. I've also found that since using that my hang nails have healed much quicker and currently no longer have any! The Manicare All-In-One Nail Therapy Oil has helped do wonders for my nails that actually look presentable in their natural glory!

I was excited to try the Manicare Overnight Revival Treatment kindly sent to me to trial. I often neglect my nails, so was definitely putting this product to the test. The formula contains plant-based keratin, panthenol vitamin B5, chamomile extract and mineral complex containing copper, iron, silicon, magnesium and zinc. These ingredients have properties that hydrate and strengthen. The treatment comes in a bottle with 12 ml of product. It has a polish consistency and in fact looks like a shimmery light blue in the bottle. The scent is that of a sweet floral aquatic that is quite pleasant. This is such an easy product to use. Just simply brush on the nails (it takes around a minute to dry), then wash off the following morning. Can also be reapplied for even more strengthening. Oh, and the treatment is clear on the nails. I have quite weak nails. I like to use gel polishes which cause damage during removal. I also like to garden and never use gloves to protect my nails. After using this treatment, I have noticed that my nails indeed feel stronger and look much healthier with the hydration and natural shine. Manicare is a trusted brand for good reason, and the Overnight Revival Treatment is no exception. If you want stronger, healthy looking nails, you need to give this product a try. So easy to use, but offers real results!
