I received a sample size of this and was excited to try it as I have a couple of dark spots on my face which have appeared over the last few months. The serum is clear and lightweight, more of a gel type consistency than a serum. I apply it twice a day morning and night after cleansing. Easy to apply sunscreen or foundation over the top in the morning. I like that this is fragrance free. After having used this twice daily for several weeks unfortunately to date I haven't seen a change in my dark spots which is a bit disappointing. Will continue to use the sample but at this stage I wouldn't be purchasing the full version of this.

I was fortunate enough to receive Sutti vitamin a serum in a Beauty Heaven Summer of Self Care discovery bag. I enjoy using different serums and have just turned 50 and need to use more products containing anti ageing ingredients. The serum is packaged in a 30ml plastic bottle with a pump top dispenser to allow for hygenic application of the serum. The serum contains vitamin A and 1% retinol, it is hydrating and also brightens skin and is also beneficial for pigmentation, fine lines, pores and uneven skin tone. I used this at night after cleansing several times a week. You cal also use a moisturiser after the serum. I am used to using products containing retinol so didn't experience a reaction using this apart from a mild slight tingling sensation which didn't last long. The serum absorbed easily and left skin feeling, smooth, soft and hydrated. I do suffer from uneven skin tone which is worse in summer so am hoping this will improve with continued use as I have only been using the serum or a couple of weeks. The serum is also Australian made an I like using Australian make products where I can.

I received the St. Tropez self tan express tanning mousse as part of the Beauty Heaven Summer of Self Care Discovery Bag. I often use self tanning products but haven't tried this brand or a mousse before so was excited to try this. I also wouldn't spend this much on a self tanning product, the rrp was $60 so thank you BH for the opportunity to try this. I used exfoliating products, shaved and moisturised my skin the day before I used the mousse. I think you need to prep your skin when you use self tanning products for a good result. The Mousse is packaged ina blue plastic 200 ml bottle. I found the instructions on the back a bit small to read, even when wearing glasses. You can very the colour and depth of your tan depending on how long you leave the product on. I applied evenly to my body, you can either use your hands or a mitt. I initially only left this on for an hour before showering. The tan will continue to develop over an 8 hour period. Moisturise regularly to help maintain the colour. The colour was a nice natural looking tan which lasted and faded well. The product does have the usual fake tan smell which I'm not a fan of, but most self tanning products do. I will also try leaving it on for 2 and 3 hours to see the difference in colour. I have strap marks from clothing and am naturally quite brown at the moment but using this helped cover the whiter areas on my skin. I mainly used this on the weekend or a day off work when I have the time, not something I would probably use during the week and going to work when I'm time poor. A good product but not something I would repurchase because of the price.

I received Neat 3B Face Saver Gel as part of the Beauty Heaven Summer of Self Care Discovery Bag. I hadn't heard of a product like this before and live in a hot humid climate so was interested to try this out. The gel is packaged in a 50g plastic tube with a screw top lid. I applied this after cleansing in the morning and before applying make up. It was quite easy to apply and absorbed easily. It did have a faint fragrance, I would prefer if this was fragrance free. I then applied make up over the top of the gel as usual. I found it did help slightly with sweating. I do exercise a lot in summer and sweat on my face is an issue but I would rather sweat when I exercise to help eliminate toxins and help detoxify my skin. I haven't used this yet when I exercise. Would be a useful product to use for a special occasion in summer ie parties or weddings.

I was fortunate enough to receive the Bodecare Sisal Exfoliating Mitt as part of the Beauty Heaven Summer of Self Care Discovery Bag. The mitt is a good fit for my small hand and is made out of a sisal fibre mesh which is light weight. I used this in the shower with a shower gel rather than a soap. The pull rope helps you adjust the sizing of the mitt around your wrist. I found this more hygenic to use than my current loofah which can get mouldy and need replacing. This mitt is easy to wash and keep clean and dries quickly. Provides gentle exfoliation while you clean and also promotes increased blood circulation. Also handy to take away when travelling. A nice addition to a shower routine. You could probably also use this alone on dry skin for a gentle exfoliation also.

Bought this in a 250g tub. Suitable for use on face or body for dry, sensitive skin. Love that this is fragrance free. Have purchased several tubs of this. Very moisturising, I mainly use it on my bodyand hands and also elbows. It's also helped clear up a patch of dry skin on the palm of my hand. Easily absorbed and non greasy. Great to use all year round but especially good in winter when my skin is drier and needs extra TLC. Good value for money, dermatologist recommended. Will continue to buy this.

I received the Revolution Soap Styler as part of a freebie with a recent BH Rewards room order. I'd never heard of a product like this before. Was quite impressed with the luxurious looking packaging. This comes in a rose gold coloured compace with a small applicator brush. I wet the applicator and swiped it across the soap and applied to my eyebrows which are quite full and natural. This is meant to hold your eyebrows in place and enable you tostyle them. Might be handy if you want to make a feature of your eyebrows. Mine are usually hidden under a long fringe. Made in China, cruelty and vegan free. Use within 6 months after opening according to the packaging.

I received the Dermaceutic Laboratories Tri Vita 30% Vitamin C Serum as part of the BH Super Summer Skin Discovery Bag. The serum is packaged in a 30ml silver bottle with a pump top dispenser for easy hygenic application. It comes in a cardboard container with an ingredients and instruction list. I was excited to try this as pigmentation is one of my main skin concerns. I have been using this nightly after cleansing for several weeks. Apply a small amount of the serum to clean, dry skin. The serum is orange in colour and lightweight with a slight citrus scent . The serum was hydrating, skin felt softer using this but sometimes tingled slightly after application. I usually use other products containing AHA's but couldn't use them when I was trialling this. This contains 30% vitamin c so is quite strong and may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin or to be used every night. The serum also contains 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 14.5% Ascorbyl Silanol, .5% Ascorbyl Ester, Vitamin E & Ferulic Acid. This serum made my skin break out slightly. I applied this some time before going to bed and using this serum stained an expensive silk pillow case which I wasn't happy about. The serum lightened my pigmentation slightly. The recommended usage time for the product is 3 months. It is also recommended to limit sun exposure while using this or to use an SPF if you are in the sun. I was fortunate to trial this as I would not normally spend so much money on a skin care product. I think this would be better suited to me to use in cooler months. I live in a hot,humid climate and for me personally I would prefer not to use this in summer. I will definately use it in the cooler months to help with my pigmentation.

I received Blessed by Nature Antioxidant Triple Eye Serum as part of the recent BH Super Summer Skin Discovery Bag. I'm always looking for effective eye products. I have permanently puffy under eye bags which I'm always looking for a product to help reduce them. It's one of my main skin concerns and always makes me look tired and I'm self conscious of them. This product is packaged in a 20ml dark glass bottle with a pump top applicator with a protective plastic lid. It comes in a cardboard box with an ingredients listing. The eye serum contains Kakadu Plum and Green Tea extract and is made in Australia and is 100% vegan and not tested on animals. I've been using this for some time now morning and night after cleansing. It is a lightweight and hydrating serum which feels quite soothing. Unfortunately this didn't do anything to help reduce my puffy eye bags. I think this would be better suited to someone younger with no major eye concerns as it is hydrating. I was grateful for the opportunity to trial this but unfortunately it didn't suit me.

I was lucky enough to receive Skin02 Natural Mineral Sunscreen as part of a BH Super Summer Skin Discovery Bag. This facial sunscreen is packaged in a 75g plastic tube with a screw off lid. The sunscreen is SPF 30 UVA & UVB Broad spectrum. It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive and acne prone skin. It is also vegan friendly and made in Australia. This can be worn alone or under make up. It doesn't leave a white appearance on your face unlike some other sunscreens. I prefer to wear this alone as I usually wear it when exercising outdoors. It is non greasy and absorbs easily, apply at least 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. This contains ingredients such as Zinc, Silica, Avocado, Grapeseed oil, Rosehip Oil and doesn't contain chemicals or preservatives, dyes or fragrance. I like that it contains anti-ageing ingredients and is Australian made but I would prefer if this was SPF 50 instead of 30. This also came with a UV wristband which changes colour from white to purple when uv rays are extreme. Handy to wear on a day out at the beach.
