Swisspers’ earth kind cotton tips made from paper stems instead of the plastic style are amazing to use. Their soft cotton ear bud tips don’t fluff or fall off like many inferior brands that I’ve tried and the wood and paper stems are strong and don’t bend or break with normal use. These are perfect for cleaning ears, touching up makeup, lipstick, wet nail polish or even applying creams and lotions to specific areas. Great for babies and children too, applying medicated creams to tricky skin folds, applying face paint for parties and playtime these are versatile. Love that these are a more sustainable and eco friendly option without sacrificing the high quality we all expect.

I’m very conscious of my environmental impact and think that it’s great Swisspers’ have developed Earth Kind, biodegradable and eco friendly, sensitive facial wipes. What impressed me was how generously sized, moist, thick and yet soft each wipes texture is with no discernible scent as they are fragrance free for sensitive skin. These facial wipes easily removed daily build up of environmental grime and any facial makeup easily without the need to tug or drag across skin. It's great that these don’t leave any oily residue on my skin but did leave my skin feeling soft and cleansed after use ready for me to follow up with my daily moisturiser. I find the 25 pack size is convenient for home use, travel, gym or car. As I rely on facial wipes when travelling or unwell I am relieved to know these are both kind to my sensitive skin and the earth.

Swisspers' dual cosmetic tips are pure cotton with no plastic stems which makes them soft and gentle on my skin yet sturdy enough not to bend or break when using them. For applying makeup or cosmetic creams, tidying up makeup mistakes, when cleansing, blending, or even applying medicated items to skin or pierced ears these tips work exceptionally well. The thick or thin shaped ends allow for precision on targeted areas and are super for use on young babies skin too when needing to reach hard to reach areas like between skin folds. Knowing these are able to break down in time and not pollute is great, as is the handy pack size for travel and home. I love using these now as my go to for creams and makeup as they are more versatile than regular cotton tips and gentler on delicate skin areas. Great value, quality and environmentally sound option.

Love the fresh clean scent of Cetaphil’s Ultra Gentle Body Wash - Refreshing Scent. It’s a welcoming, fresh scent to help awaken me with each use. A pearlescent, gel like texture this body wash is easy to dispense by flipping the top open and squeezing a small amount out. Only a super small amount is needed each use as it covers skin well and lathers easily. Just apply like any body wash while showering for a refreshing, all over clean feel. It feels soft, smooth and non-stripping on skin during use and hasn’t irritated my sensitive, dry skin at all. The Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5 in this formula seem to help soothe and nurture skin so it feels replenished after each wash. This works as a great body wash for any gender and age, seems like a family friendly bathroom solution. An added bonus is that its dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic too for added peace of mind.

My skin is currently dull, dehydrated, tired looking and sensitive due to pregnancy hormones sending it haywire. I also have areas of redness which are hard to disguise. The Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation has been amazing! Packaged in a hygienic glass bottle with pump pack the formula stays fresh and its easy to dispense just the amount you need for each use. I love that I can recycle the packaging after use too. The formula comes in a range of shades, natural ivory (01) is a great match for my pale, fair skin tone and helped conceal some serious redness too. A soft, creamy formula, I used Dream Satin Liquid Foundation without my usual primer of a morning after cleansing and moisturising applying it to my skin with fingertips. It easily applied and blended nicely even when in a hurry. I tried applying with a brush also which worked just as well but wasn’t necessary. I was impressed with how well this left my skin feeling hydrated and feeling lightweight without clogging my pores. My skin appeared smooth and even with a full coverage, fresh, luminous glow without the cakey, dry look it often has with fuller coverage foundations. It lasted all day through wet and hot weather without becoming patchy or dry. Great for daily wear and perfect when travelling to as you don’t need all the extras to create a full yet luminous base. This didn’t aggravate acne or irritate skin even when I left it on over night, I am keen to repurchase this as my go to daily foundation now as I know it’s an allround winner for my skin type and so easy to use. Definitely recommend this to family and friends looking for a reliable foundation that can provide hydration with its 2 in 1 foundation and serum formula.

My skin has been lacklustre with uneven texture and tone, sallowness, wrinkles and laugh lines all standing out and bothering my confidence. I had been searching for a new treatment that could help target these concerns with minimal fuss and maximum results. Thank you BH for the opportunity to give the latest Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro Rapid Firm + Lift Treatment a whirl, it has honestly packed a positive punch for me! The impressive silver toned pump bottle is in the signature EL design and sits nicely amongst other products. I apply 1-2 pumps daily after cleansing but before moisturising, while at night I add a step of applying Estee Lauder’s Micro Essence first and then the Perfectionist Pro and a moisturiser. The treatment feels like a thick serum that instantly melts and soaks into my skin when gently applying It using fingertips. I love it’s soft, fresh, scent and find it doesn’t linger or irritate my sensitive skin at all. I apply Perfectionist Pro evenly to my face gently focusing on my problem areas of cheeks, forehead, jawline, laugh lines and eye area (crows feet) for two weeks during this trial. On first use I noticed my skin looked brighter, clearer and had a visibly illuminated radiance to it while feeling less tight, dry and silky smooth to touch. Applying my foundation was great as it sat much better after using the Perfectionist Pro Rapid Firm + Lift Treatment. After 3 days use, twice daily, I started to notice my skins texture was less blotchy, ruddy and rough as the AHAs had started to work into my skin and remove old cells while the hyaluronate worked to plump and hydrate my skins barrier. I’m just reaching 2 weeks use and find my wrinkles and fine lines are more plumped in appearance while my skin looks brighter, smoother and revived. A slight firmness visible in my lower cheeks and jawline is noticeable to me as is a beautiful silky smooth texture. I love that such a simple to incorporate step into my routine has produced such fast and positive changes to my skins appearance. My confidence is back as I feel comfortable going bare faced because my skin looks better and feels better. I have made sure to add an SPF daily into my routine of a morning as the active ingredients in Perfectionist Pro can lead to faster redness and burning with sun exposure. My makeup sits and looks better and I like the soft, touch feel my skin now has compared to it’s rougher texture before use. I can’t wait to keep this as part of my everyday routine and see long term how much happier my skin and I look and feel!

Sensitive, dry skin every day and prone to skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis using any bath soaps or products makes me cautious. Derma Veen Extra Gentle Shower & Bath Oil was a pleasant surprise! My skin was irritated with patches of dermatitis but after using this just once in a bath I was relieved to find my skin felt cleansed, hydrated and nourished without any stripping or further drying. Adding a small amount (20mls) to a running bath and swishing it about made it easy to use. It’s texture was a light, thin oil not watery, but also not thick like bath gels or regular body washes. it didn’t leave the tub as oily as many other brands of oils I have tried do and following a quick shower to rinse off my skin still felt comfortable. This cleanses skin gently and leaves it feeling soft and gently coated with a barrier of protection locking in my skins natural ph to help keep it balanced. Skin felt smooth and nourished, being a non-lather style wash was great as it didn’t trip skin ph. Used alone as a body wash in the shower yielded the same results with my skin being thoroughly cleansed but also feeling smooth and nurtured without any extra greasiness left over. Used on a wash cloth or from hands worked best as it doesn't feel suited for a loofah. The pump pack makes it super easy to dispense for each use and being fragrance free it doesn’t cause irritation however I did feel that it had a scent which was a little stronger than I expected but was not off putting. My favourite feature of this is that the colloidal oatmeal really helps cleanse while also locking in a natural moisture barrier helping my skin feel soothed and replenishing my natural balance. Its free from nasties like hormone disrupting parabens, and ingredients known to irritate like SLS, SLES, artificial dyes and fragrances as well as no skin congesting lanolin but did contain benzyl alcohol. I’m really enjoying using this as my daily body cleanser but find it better for bathing as it tends to leave the shower a little oily. Its also meant to be great for use on face, babes for nappy rash and cradle cap. I didn’t use mine for these but as it is so great at promoting natural skin resilience, balance and moisture locking I would give it a try. I followed up use each day using the Derma Veen Extra Gentle Revive Body Moisturiser which complemented this wonderfully.

Great imperfection eraser and dark circle minimiser. The Nude By Nature Flawless concealer is housed in a clever thin, lipstick style dispenser that you can wind up to reach the concealer. You can easily apply it from the tip of the dispenser tube or use a brush like I did to take some concealer from the tip and apply it directly to imperfections or dark areas. The colour range is great and suits warm and cool tones, this is the first concealer I have found that really delivered results by being creamy and soft to apply while not creasing or caking up due to its lightweight feel. It really did help minimise blemishes and darker areas and complemented the flawless foundation wonderfully. It had no noticeable scent and was gentle on my sensitive skin. Great size as you can travel with it too! Filled with antioxidants and good ingredients it didn’t dry skin out or irritate but helped nurture skin while concealing. This concealer was able to help hide some very noticeable scars and redness and it lasted the day, good quality and gentle on skin.

Look Luxe for less! Love the prestigious look and feel of this glass bottle and the gold/copper tone lid. The pump dispenser helps keep the foundation fresh and makes it easy to dispense just enough foundation each use. Being fragrance and oil free it was gentle on my skin, and the colour a perfect match for my skin tone. When applying using fingertips it was slightly difficult to achieve an even finish on drier areas however using the lovely Nude By Nature brush it was easy to apply and gently blend to build an even, medium, coverage. My skin has some dry patches and I found the foundation did not sit as well on these areas unless I added a primer or moisturised extra but it did feel wonderfully light weight and created a very even coverage. For a heavier build of cover I would suggest using a powder over the top as the foundation became slightly tacky and harder to blend when applied heavy on my drier skin areas, I don’t think this would be an issue for normal or oily skin. My areas of redness and imperfections where hidden and my skin had a healthy, even tone. The coverage lasted all day and I was confident to wear this day and night for everyday wear and special occasions as it let my skin look good and feel fresh without that clogged feel many foundations cause. It also didn’t aggrevate my sensitive skin or create acne as it wasn’t blocking my pores and my skin could breathe. I like that it gave a soft, silky, matte finish and didn’t leave skin looking oily. All round this is a great lightweight, matte foundation that wears well and lasts all day. I will happily buy Nude by Nature foundation again because I know it is gentler on my skin and gives me confidence day to day with application and wear.

I have very fine, fair, sparse brows which always leaves me worried when having them tinted in salon for fear of the beautician using the wrong shade, shaping or staining my skin excessively. Admittedly, I was concerned trialling the new Maybelline New York Tattoo Brow 3 Day Peel-Off Gel-Tint for these reasons and because It is DIY but the results have been great and I’m super happy! I used the medium brown shade and was pleased to find it a nice match without red undertones. It comes housed similar to a mini mascara or lip gloss tube style with a screw top lid that pulls out to reveal a thin brush at the tip. I applied it by first preparing my brows with a quick shaping using a spoolie and then painting and feathering a thick coating of the gel through my brow hairs. I started out with only a 15 minute dry time on first use as a test run and found on my second use later that week that the 20 minutes dry time works best as the gel has time to really set. Once dried a gentle peeling away of the gel revealed nicely coloured brows, if any little pieces of gel left over my spoolie brushed them out easily. I also applied and lft for 2 hours and found that this gave a slightly more intense result but I personally like the 20 minute dry time The gel has no scent, darkened both the brow hairs and stained lightly the skin between (my brows are very fine!) which gave them a fuller, more defined and thicker appearance that I liked. I love that the results look natural and it saves me time each day as I don’t need to feather in my brows with pencil, palette or powders while using this. I find the tint lasts about 2 days defined, 3 days slightly less defined, so long as I avoid cleansers on the brows. For more intense results I suggest using it before a special occasion and not a day before. The ease of application is really easy and mess free and because it is not permanent there’s no need to fear that you will colour them wrong. In fact, if you select the shade that suits you It seems near impossible to apply this and not have great results. I have only ever had my brows done in salon until now but this is so simple to do I will happily be adding it into my beauty routine to save time and money in between visits.
