I trialled the new Nivea Cellular Lift Expert Anti-age Night Cream. As well as hyaluronic acid it also includes a new anti-age active called 'Pure Bakuchiol', which is the first time I've heard of this active. It is a really firm, pale yellow cream. It is so firm that you could use a spatula to get the cream out, or just keep patting with your finger tip and apply. This doesn't have the signature Nivea scent, but it does have a very soft scent. The cream soaks in well and easily, and in the morning my skin feels nice and plump and hydrated. The instruction on the box says you can apply a thicker layer and let it melt with your skin - a bit like giving your skin a treatment overnight, which is also really nice. I like this cream, and am using this in conjunction with the Day Cream from the same range. I love the simple Nivea container design - it is a great shape, not heavy glass, and it is very easy to get all the product out.

It is a moussy, thick, pink-coloured cream, without the Nivea signature scent, but it does have a very soft scent. The cream soaks in well and easily, but the first time I used it I put way too much on and although it initally soaked in, mid-way through the day I saw my reflection and I looked super glowy! I now use not as much, and it is better! I like this cream, and am using this in conjunction with the Night Cream from the same range. I love the simple Nivea container design - it is a great shape, very easy to get all the product out, not heavy glass, and it can be reused for something else.

I was very happy to be able to trial the Nivea Naturally Good Anti-Age Day and Night Creams together, and I thought they were both good creams. The cream is packaged in an easy to use, screw-top plastic container. The best thing I like about this cream is that it is nice and light in texture, especially for a day cream. Other brand creams I've used are quite heavy, and make my face 'shine' during the day when I am in an office environment. But this cream is nice and light, and I don't get that 'shine'. I haven’t seen much reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, but I’ve only used it for about two weeks. There is still plenty of product in the jar, and I’ll definitely keep using it. I don't think the scent is too strong and I haven’t had any bad reaction to the cream.

It is easy to apply, and doesn’t feel heavy when applied, and a little goes a long way. When I wash my face in the morning, my skin feels like it has retained moisture all night. I haven’t seen much reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, but I’ve only used it for about two weeks. There is still plenty of product in the jar, and I’ll definitely keep using it. I don't think the scent is too strong and I haven’t had any bad reaction to the cream.

Thanks BH for putting me on this trial. I have mature skin and was looking forward to some extra help, as these tablets claim to help improve skin elasticity and firmness. It was a long trial, and we needed to take four tablets per day, as per direction on the bottle. There are 60 tablets per bottle, so taking four per day means each bottle lasts only 15 days, but we did receive enough bottles for the trial. The bottle is easy to open, but the tablets are huge! Having to take 4 seemed daunting. I'm not a fan of huge tablets, but I got them down! Smaller and more concentrated would be easier for me. I'm not really sure if they did anything for my skin. I didn't react badly to any of the ingredients, and there are some very good ingredients. But, thanks again BH - very happy to have been able to trial these tablets.

I received this Strengthplex Bond Repair Mask as part of a trial team, with the matching shampoo and conditioner. The tub is easy open, and the mask is a thickish, white paste that I scooped out with my fingers. It has a slight sickly scent, which I don't really like, but it's not overpowering on my hair. The instructions say to first use the shampoo, and then to apply the mask onto wet hair, and leave for 3-5 mins before rinsing - no need to use the conditioner. I followed the instructions, and left it on my hair for about 3 mins - enough time for a body wash, without wasting too much water. I let my hair dry naturally, and I quite liked the end result. My thick, wavy hair has a tendency to frizz out if it doesn't get enough moisture, but my hair was quite tame using the mask. (When I used the shampoo and conditioner of this range I ended up with frizz, but the mask was much better). When I had to shampoo my hair for the next test I found that I had to wash three times before I got a good lather - I rarely have to do this, so perhaps the mask was heavy on my hair. I much prefer the shampoo/mask combo to the shampoo/conditioner combo.

You have to press really hard on the small section, straight down (I was pressing like a flip-top) to break the plastic clip, and then it works easily to just press the small section and the bigger section pops up – wow, did I feel stupid! The conditioner (and shampoo) doesn’t have much scent, which is fine by me, I did my first test using the shampoo and mask, and I thought the results were better than using the shampoo and this conditioner. I let my hair dry naturally, and even my partner asked why my hair was so frizzy – I looked like Dianna Ross. I have thick, wavy hair and I can’t say I was impressed with the result! I also felt like the ends of my hair still felt parched, but perhaps I need to apply more product in that area. However, after sleeping on my hair, which always seems to flatten it out, the frizz was gone. Probably not my favourite, but I don't know if it's the shampoo or conditioner...

I tried the Nude by Nature Satin Liquid Lipstick in 09 Rich Plum. As the name says, it this is a liquid lipstick, with a wand applicator. The first time I tried it I thought - 'YUK' - the colour looked a muddy brown and wasn't the colour that I was expecting, it was way too thick on the edges of my lips, and I really didn't like it at all. But, I've continued to use it and I don't mind it now. I expected it to be more of a stain, but it's not, so there is transfer when drinking etc. I would like it to be more of a stain so I don't have to apply so often. I also expected it to be more drying because it is 'satin', but it's not drying either - it doesn't feel sticky or dry. I've applied it by itself and it looks satin, and I've applied it over clear lip balm and it looks glossy. Even though it is a dark plum colour I wear it during the day and it's not too dramatic. I tried the Nude by Nature Perfecting Lip Primer, and this is the first time I’ve ever used lip primer. The colour of the primer is similar to the colour of the tube container- a light cream colour, and when I apply this to my lips it covers up the ‘pink’ colour and makes them look paler and muted – so I definitely need to apply colour over the top. The primer also feels quite slippery on my lips, even when I let it dry a bit before applying colour. I think I notice a slight tingly feeling and this could be from the menthol in the ingredients. I applied Nude by Nature lip colour over the top and toward the end of the day I think I still saw some feathering of the lip colour. There is still transfer of lip colour and I didn’t find that it made my colour last longer. This product has some rave reviews but I don’t think it is a product that I will be rushing out to buy any time soon. I'll keep trying it though to check that I'm using it correctly,
