I must admit this was an impulse buy. I had seen it advertised but I thought the swirls of moisturiser might make this product a bit too heavy for my skin. Nevertheless, when it went on special at half price, I thought I would give it a go. Not only is this a foundation, it is also a broad spectrum sunscreen and also contains hyaluronic complex as well as vitamin c. With all those extras, this should be a pretty good product. The twist off lid comes with a sponge to use to apply foundation, but as mentioned elsewhere there is no mirror to check your application. I bought the Buff Beige and it turned out this was just the right colour for me. I found the make up glided onto my skin and no, it did not feel too heavy at all - the one thing I did think might be the case. As much as I would love to say it filled in the wrinkles and made me look years younger, I really cannot say this. However, if you are wanting a lovely foundation that does not need much to apply I would definitely recommend this one.

My thanks to Beauty Heaven for the opportunity to review this product. Also my thanks for getting it over to W.A. in what seemed to be record time. I was surprised to find this product was boxed in gold and brown, which seemed to me to be a bit dated. The 30 ml bottle itself was also in brown and gold, shading from dark at the top to light/gold at the bottom. Having a dropper really did help in ensuring the correct amount of product was used and I found that 3 or 4 drops was more than enough to cover my face and neck. The product itself is a creamy-yellow colour and feels creamy to the touch - I must admit I did not like the fragrance, as to me it was rather "chemical". I used this serum twice a day as instructed, and I am a bit disappointed to say that apart from my skin feeling a bit smoother, I really did not notice any difference at all. I do realise that people and their skin types do differ and what will suit one person will not suit another. However, at the price asked I really do think it is way too expensive for one to try to see if it will suit. Although I am going to answer "NO" to the question below, please bear my last notes in mind. Maybe someone younger than I will have better results.

This lovely perfume is presented in a delightful glass bottle that will look elegant on any dressing table. With a distinct note of roses, and lighter notes of violet, this is a light, sweet perfume that is perfect for spring and/or summer days when one want a perfume to last but not become over powering. I have not noticed any "powdery" notes but this may present to other users. I have found this perfume is one that will last all day and into the evening without losing its appeal. I have found that if this perfume is kept in a cool dark place, (such as a drawer) it will last for many months without losing any of its appeal.

I am always thrilled to be chosen to do a review for Beauty Heaven as it is a really great way to try out new products or even an older product that I just would not think of buying. This time, when I was asked to try out some Collagen tablets, I jumped at the chance to see if there could possibly be something in this product that would not only do my skin a bit of good, but also be SEEN to do something. As Always, I was a bit excited when the review product arrived and began to take the tablets first thing the following day. The tablets are huge, and even after cutting in half these were very big tablets and that would then make 8 to swallow. However, I took 2 tablets cut in half first thing in the morning and then another 2 tablets with morning tea. As well as the Collagen, these tablets also contained Vitamin C and Retinol Acetate, equivalent to Vitamin A which is also of benefit to the skin. Although I did monitor my skin very closely over the three month period I was taking these tablets, I did not see any improvement in my skin whatsoever. As I am now in my seventies, these tablets might be better suited to younger skin, such as one who is approaching middle age? As Always, I am very grateful to B.H. for giving me the opportunity to participate in this trial.

I have tried many things over the years for my very dry skin, (especially my hands, which dry out so much my nails also dry and flake) so I was delighted to receive my invitation to join the trial team for the Weleda Skin Food. This product arrived in a very plain green box with instructions in many languages as this cream is made in Germany. The ingredient list is quite an impressive one listing amongst other things, Sunflower seed oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Rosemary, Chamomile and is certified as a natural cosmetic free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances colourants or products derived from mineral oils. The very instructions simply say to "Apply where needed on rough and very dry areas such as hands, feet or elbows and allow to soak in well". In a green coloured tube mimicking the outer box, I was rather surprised at just how thick this cream is. When I first used it, I was again surprised at just how much I need to rub into my hands for it to become absorbed. So much so, I really found it a bit difficult to use during the times when I was doing the housework, ironing, working on the computer etc as the cream seemed to leave a bit of a sticky layer on my skin. I decided to use this cream when I was sitting down watching television and again before bed each night. The cream is a deep cream in colour and has a very delicate fragrance that reminds me of herbs.To really get a good idea of just how well it worked (or otherwise) I also treated one foot each not, but not the other one. I was both surprised and delighted to find this cream really does work. Within 4 days, the dry skin on my elbows was gone, the dry skin on my treated foot looked totally different to the other one, and I have also noted a significant difference to the dry skin on my hands. Although the package says this cream is suitable for both the face and the body, I think it is too thick for my face and its very thickness is a bit of a drawback (for me) in regard to using on my legs etc. However, according to the box, this skin food is also available in a body butter as well as a lighter formula, which might suit me as well.

I was very pleased to get the invitation to trial this product as I have only used one oil so far that I have really liked - this oil now makes two. As one who suffered from very oily skin in her youth (into 20's, 30's and 40's) I have always been very wary of using a product featuring oil. This oil comes in a predominantly white and gold box with blue writing and has detailed information and instructions on it. Inside the oil is presented in a 30ml bottle with an eye dropper style applicator. I was a bit surprised to see the user is encouraged to "massage" into the skin rather than "gently apply". Once again, I went straight to the list of ingredients only to find the Argan Oil well down the list. I found I only needed about 4 - 6 drops to be able to completely massage into face and neck. Anything left over was massaged into my hands, Once again, there was a lot of information given on the pack, but only a small amount on just when and how often to use other than saying to use either on cleansed skin or after your cream. I was pleasantly surprised to find that although this product is an oil, it did not feel oily or greasy. Once again, I did not notice any difference to the firmness of my skin nor the wrinkles.

I was quite excited to be asked to trial this product as I have always like Nivea and I found two new (but light) wrinkles the week before, so I thought this would be the ideal time to try this product designed for the needs of 60+ skin. Presented in a predominantly white and gold box, this product also contains Argan Oil and Natural Q10. I must admit however, that the level of SPF was nowhere near enough for the Australian woman to protect her skin from sun damage. At only 15% I do believe this left a lot to be desired. One of the first things I do is look at the list of ingredients to ensure that the stated featured product is quite prominent among the ingredients. Again I was disappointed as the Argan Oil mentioned was number 14 on the list and the other ingredient mentioned (Creatine) was 16 on the list. For me, not a very promising start. However, I followed instructions and applied each day on a cleansed face paying particular attention to the new wrinkles on the side of my face. I thought that as they were new, there should be a real improvement in that area which would also be very easily monitored. I found this day cream to be quite light in that it did not feel heavy on the skin and did not have that feeling of leaving a layer behind, but having said that, I did find it to be a bit "greasy". However, after using for over 3 weeks, I have not seen any reduction of wrinkles nor any firmness/lifting of the skin. BRAND RESPONSE: Hi Gail157, thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry that you didn’t see the results that you were hoping for. It sounds like this Day Cream maybe just wasn’t quite right for your skin. As an alternative, we would suggest trying our NIVEA Hyaluron Cellular Filler + Elasticity & Re-Densifying Day Cream as it has a slightly different formulation that may be more suitable for your skin and provide the results that you are looking for. Most of the sunscreens I have seen in Australia have been SPF 30 and I have always wondered why we don't have that many SPF 50 available when we have one of the hottest climates in the world. Add to that, the beach culture of this country and the prevalence of various skin cancers, the prolific use of SPF 50 sunscreens should be actively encouraged. The Reef Coconut Sunscreen is SPF 50 and covers the broad spectrum of both UVA and UVB protection. In a large 150 ml tube this product is thick and creamy and according to the information on the back of the tube, it is also "richly hydrating". I was very impressed with this formula, as it was very moisturizing, but it was also not greasy. By the time I had applied to my second arm, the cream on the first arm was completely dry as the cream had already been absorbed so it was not sticky or greasy at all. As the instructions state to use 15 - 20 minutes before sun exposure, I did this before venturing outside in the 40+ heat we had been having. It was also good to note that beside giving directions on how to use the cream, the instructions also promoted the use of protective clothes, a hat and sunglasses and to avoid excessive exposure to the sun.

I have used similar creams in the past, but I have found this one is not only very effective, but acts quickly as well. I was quite excited to receive this cream as, along with most, I like to wear sandals in summer weather and unsightly heels are not attractive. On receiving this cream I immediately washed and thoroughly dried my feet so I could begin to use it. The cream had the consistency of a soft "ointment" and was absorbed by my skin almost immediately. There was a very delicate perfume, but nothing too strong. The cream was easily worked into my feet and because it was absorbed so quickly, I had no trouble in wearing sandals straight after application. The directions say to apply to clean and dry skin two or three times a day, but to be honest, I really only remembered straight after my morning shower and again at bedtime. After the latter application, I wore socks to bed and I am sure that helped the cream to be absorbed even more. The statement which informs the user that this is "Non-greasy," is true as I did not feel it was greasy in any way. I was also impressed with the other ingredients in this product - they ranged from Lactic Acid and other well known exfoliators to Wheat Germ Oil, Lemon Myrtle Leaf Oil, Fruit Oil, and Bergamot to name but a few. All in all, many ingredients to facilitate the claims made. As I also have horribly dry hands, I also used this on my hands overnight - again with great results.

As with most Nude by Nature products, this Satin Liquid Lipstick came in a white box with instructions and a list of ingredients on the side and a colour photo of just what was in the box. The liquid lipstick was presented in a frosted glass tube with a rose gold cap and looked quite elegant. The colour I had chosen was 01 Sand, but really was not the type of colour I was expecting. In my experience from the various products I have used in the past, "Sand" is usually a browny pink colour, one that is flattering to most complextions. I was very disappointed in this colour as (on me) it was almost Orange!! But Oh! the lipstick itself is just lovely. It flowed onto my lips and although it has a "satin matte" finish, it feels to very moisturising one could be forgiven for thinking it a gloss. A couple of hours after first applying, I had a meal, and when finished, I just couldn't help but feel the moisture effect of the lipstick was still there - so off I trotted to have a look in the mirror. whilst some of the colour had been removed by eating, the majority of the colour was still there, but even more importantly, the feeling of lovely moist lips remained. One surprising thing about this lipstick is that coming in liquid form, one might expect a lighter formula, but the colour is very intense and as I mentioned before, feels fantastic. With Kakadu Plum, Sweet Almond Oil, Desert Lime and Shea Butter, it should come as no surprise that this formula is a winner.
