I'm thankful to BeautyHeaven for the opportunity to trial this product as I had not tried a dedicated body make up product before, but I have pale translucent skin that doesn't tan on its own very well and I am prone to horrible mozzie bites that leave marks. But the product did not impress me at all. It was messy to apply. The 'light' version was so orange against my skin that it was difficult to judge the amount I needed to use (I had requested the palest option available). And when rubbed in to the point that it had blended, there was no coverage worth mentioning. It actually made my skin look worse and I had to be careful not to let my limbs touch my clothes or furniture! I also had to go through the process of scrubbing and tanning my skin (two coats two days apart) before the colour looked ok... but it turned a natural looking fake tan into a fake looking fake tan. I would rather go through the trouble of fake tanning with an organic fake tan to blend away my imperfections. I've tried natural tinted sunscreens and body bronzers that give better coverage and a nice glow. Most have beneficial ingredients and a pleasant holiday scent. Again, I can't see why this product would be necessary when you can get the same effect with beneficial ingredients in other products on the market. The only positive is that the package was easy to squeeze with messy hands and the product might work ok for night events when you need to extend a fake tan. But with so many express tanners available now, I'd rather put in the effort to have a longer term, non-transferrable tint to my skin. Maybe I will give the infamous spray version a go instead.

I don't normally buy Max Factor so I thank BH for inviting me to trial the product and a brand I'm not familiar with. Overall the foundation formula and packaging appeared to be high-quality with a handy pump, comfortable glass bottle and skin-like tone to the colour I was matched with: Natural 50. At first I thought the colour would be far too dark as I never buy any shade beyond the typical Ivory or Light range. I was pleasantly surprised to find the shade blended perfectly without any hint of orange or yellow and no oxidisation. I usually only wear tinted moisturisers or fluid foundations so the formula felt quite thick on application despite the high blend-ability when buffed in with a brush. Those wanting light coverage will need to use the pump sparingly as I found the pump provided too much product for my liking. I found the coverage to be thick, not translucent. I hardly had to add any of my usual concealer even with buffing out to a sheer layer. I prefer a light base with heavy coverage only where necessary. I noticed quite a strong nutty smell and a greasiness to the formula as well that I was not a fan of. I have dehydrated combination skin prone to an oily tzone, dry cheeks and clogging around the nose and chin. On my skin I did not achieve any blurring or hydration with the foundation as stated on the bottle. Instead, my pores were quite noticeable after a few hours wear and my skin got oilier than usual throughout the day to the point my skin felt sticky on my cheeks. I tried a normal moisturiser and a mattifying one with no improvement. And I developed a few small pimples across my cheeks where I usually don't break out. I suspect the formula is oil-based which was amplified by the fact that the weather had turned unusually warm during the trial period.

First of all, a big thank you to Revlon and BH for their generous trial. Having thought I was going to receive a single random colour for the trial, it was like Xmas receiving the huge rainbow of colours from the line. I decided to partake in this trial because I am NOT a nail girl. I've tried to have nice nails, but even with the top brands, shellac or professional manicures my nails rarely last longer than a day. In most cases I find polish takes so long to dry I end up with dints and smudges, I get sick of the smell, I muck up my right hand so much I end up with only one hand painted or I get a chip within a day that continues to chip away thereafter. And I've never understood so called 'cult' nail polish brands. I'd basically resigned myself to the fact that my job and lifestyle did not allow for nice looking, manicured hands and nails. And given that I like shorter nails, it's rare to find a polish that doesn't look childish on the odd occasion a polish formula works out. But the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy line may have changed all that. I chose Hold Em for my toenails for the whole trial period, a beautiful violet shade that would suit all skintones (including my super pale winter skin). The polish has held up almost flawlessly even though the weather has been warm enough to get around barefoot on weekends. I've only had to touch up the growth and this worked well over the existing polish - lazy I know, but they're toes! For the first week of the trial on my fingers I chose the dark gunmetal shade Ace of Spades because I wear grey almost every day in winter. The colour required two coats, but I was really pleased to find that the coats dried quickly and didn't streak. The colour looked a bit too murky for my skin tone at first, but I found it improved once I applied the Diamond Topcoat. Even the little fingerprint marks on my thumb disappeared to an even glossy finish once it hardened (in no time at all). The durability was fantastic. The only chips I got were when I managed to nick my fingernail whilst shaving and another where I hadn't tidied up the polish on a dodgy cuticle and it peeled away. Other than that it seemed the top coat kept the polish from further peeling and made it almost impossible for me to mindlessly chip away at the shaving chip. After a week I had much less wear around the ends of the nails than any other polish (including shellac). I could have just made do with repainting the two damaged nails, but I wanted to test another colour and actually looked forward to the process for the right reasons for once. Removal of the polish was actually easier than other polishes and left no staining whatsoever despite the dark colour I had chosen and lack of base coat. For the second week of the trial period I chose the eye-catching cerulean blue shade Wild Card that I am still sporting chip-free as I type. This colour's formula seemed even better than the dark grey to apply. I could have made do with a single coat, but I opted for a second to really make the colour pop, again with no streaking and fast drying times. And the crazy thing is that my right hand is actually neater than my left (I'm right handed). The Diamond Top coat is a stand out on its own and I wonder how it would go over non "gel" polishes. It really does dry to a hard finish, glossy but not at all gluggy, and quick drying. Apart from the easy-to-work-with formulas and the durability of the polishes my favourite things about the Gel Envy line have got to be: - the colour choice - the lack of smell, they really don't have that offensive paint smell, nor do they seem to absorb any smell over time - the lightweight feel on the nail - the shape and size of the brush. It's wide but controllable and has a slightly curved end. I found it really easy to work with and streak free. - the cylindrical bottles make for easy (and pretty) storage and the long wide handle of the brush made for easy opening and painting, even with one hand still a bit tacky. I am so happy I took the plunge and participated in this trial. I now have hands, not just nails, that I am confident to show and actually enjoying giving myself a manicure now. I'm not sure if others had as much success as me, but it's like Gel Envy was made for me. My only issue is - what colour should I try next?! Thanks again BeautyHeaven and Revlon. I might actually brave blood red nails soon and I'm looking forward to testing out the versatile pastel and crazy bright shades in the range in summer.

Thank you to BH for selecting me for this trial. I'd never tried a stick foundation before, but as an oily skinned girl and general fan of Maybelline, this "shine free foundation stick" sounded ideal. I was originally going to award it 4 stars, but after the trial ended and I went back to my favourite mattifying liquid foundation I realised just how much the Maybelline foundation stick just didn't do it for me. The foundation does apply beautifully. I'd draw it on the main areas of my face and blend with a buffing brush to leave a satin like, almost powdery, finish that would look amazing for a couple of hours. The coverage is low and this would not have been a problem usually except I was having a bad skin week during the trial and thus needed extra concealer in a couple of spots. I'm happy to report that the trial foundation did not cause any breakouts, but it did highlight flakiness when the pimples I did have coming into the trial started to heal. Luckily I don't have to deal with that often so I might give the foundation another go. As for shine control... I found my entire face would become oily, whereas usually I only deal with shininess on my forehead and chin even with primer and Maybelline's own powder. And with the oil came patchiness. I live in a humid area and have oily skin so I doubt there's any product that can actually combat that, but having my foundation actually melt in the tzone like this one is a big no-no. The size of this foundation was much smaller than I thought, but I barely made a dint in it with daily use. I'm not the sort to carry a makeup bag in my handbag, but if you are and feel the need to carry a backup base with you this one may be perfect. It's highly compact, the lid stays on securely and the stick itself doesn't appear to melt or separate even if it did so on my face... Plus you can see the foundation clearly with the lid on thanks to the clear plastic. I found the foundation excelled at night time when the air was cooler so again this might make it the ideal handbag foundation for touchups. So this foundation wasn't great for me as a staple everyday base, but I would happily try it in the cooler months or keep it for touchups on the go. I'd really like to try a liquid version instead as I believe it was the waxiness of the stick that caused my skin to appear oilier than usual.

I wasn't as impressed with this foundation as I thought I would be for a high-end brand The first issue was the colour. I selected Beige Porcelain (010) which is the second lightest neutral shade, a description that has never failed me in the past. I received a very orange toned colour that was definitely not neutral or porcelain and about two shades too dark. Normally I can even get away with the darkest 'light' shade from a selection of foundation colours in any brand, but there's no way 010 belongs in the Light category - it's meant for tanned skin (unless my bottle was flawed). The built in concealer was even darker. As a result I had to really blend the foundation to make it workable and as a result probably didn't experience the positives of this foundation as much as other reviewers. I have combination oily skin prone to clogging. I found that the foundation was quite sticky and thick to apply with a flat topped brush as I usually do, but it settled very well and didn't get as oily by the end of the day as some of my 'mattifying' foundations. For this reason I'd be tempted to give the foundation a go, at my own expense, in a lighter shade I did breakout during the first few days of using the foundation. This could have been due to hormones, a sudden change in the weather, the thickness of the foundation compared to my usual lightweight option or stress in general, so again I'm keen to give the foundation a go in a lighter shade I'm undecided about whether the spf 20 is necessary. I wear a seperate, more effective spf 50 dedicated sunscreen under my moisturiser anyway. Having the included spf kind of makes you reluctant to wear the foundation to events with photography or out at night I do however love the packaging and the overall idea of the combined foundation and concealer. The texture of the concealer is just how I like it. Balmy and pigmented so you can apply it directly to the required area without needing to spread it all over the place I haven't noticed any changes in my skin apart from those few pimples that may have been unrelated. I'm very keen to try a lighter shade to get a more accurate review. If you're wanting to try this foundation, don't rely on the online shade selection tools. Go in to a Lancome counter :)

As a long time user of Korean brands of BB cream I was really excited to be a part of this trial, despite never having personal success with Garnier products in the past I'll start with the good points.
The BB cream has a nice fresh fragrance and is easy to apply, if a little watery compared to other BB creams. As a result the coverage is quite sheer, but it evens skin tone quite well. The colour choices are fantastic. I have porcelain skin so I have difficulty finding tinted moisturisers that aren't too yellow for my skin. The Light option was a good match for my neutral skintone. The Medium option was too dark for me for the trial, but matched my mother's darker skin and gave it a nice glow. As others have said, the tube is a generous size and easy to control how much is squeezed, while still being a great option for traveling However, the Garnier BB cream wasn't for me. Within only a couple of hours it made my face very greasy in texture and comfort. Granted I live in a humid area, I tested the cream in AC, outdoors, with and without moisturiser underneath and with and without powder, but I found myself on all occasions desperately wanting to remove it. The cream actually stayed put really well (unlike foundations that melt), but my skin was just too slick while wearing it... and I don't have oily skin! I also developed a couple of pimples on my chin while wearing it. I am a long time user of tinted moisturisers and BB creams from a number of brands and in my opinion, or at least for my skin, the Garnier formulation didn't add up. Other TMs and BBs have much higher SPF and coverage without the slick. The remainder of both the Light and Medium tubes I have from the trial are going to elderly relatives as my Mum found the exact same thing and she has a totally different skin type I hate to be so harsh but the Garnier BB cream is a great concept, but not quite on par with what is already out there.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lotion. I'm super picky with body lotions, particularly as I use them going to bed and can't stand anything greasy. But this lotion wasn't greasy at all and unlike other Shea butter lotions the scent wasn't overpowering. It soaked in easily and was a pleasure to apply. The lotion left my skin looking soft and healthy at a time when the cooler weather was starting to make my shaved legs a bit flakey. On that note the lotion didn't irritate freshly shaved legs at which which is a rarity. The lotion is lightly scented, but won't clash with any shower gels or perfumes. And it didn't develop a funny smell or sliminess after wear (as I said I'm picky with lotions). I was fortunate to have plenty of time to test out the lotion as part of the trial team. Although I didn't test out the "7 day" claim I did test out the lotion on an every other day basis and found that my dry body skin remained soft and smooth on the off days. I have a more preferred everyday lotion, but I can see this one becoming a regular treat in my routine, particularly after exfoliating due to it's non-irritating properties. Another plus about this lotion is the packaging. The bottle is sturdy, stands well, attractive and the unique shape makes it easy to pour even when you've got lotion on your hands and need to to it one handed. You also get a very generous quantity. If you like shea butter lotions, but need one that is light enough for summer, but rich enough for winter then this one is worth a try. It is proof that " intensive" doesn't have to mean grease slick.

I decided to add this to my routine as I felt it would fill the anti-aging serum gap that I had as a 25 year old with normal - oily congested skin. Straight rosehip oil was always too oily on my skin so the light consistency mentioned by other reviewers grabbed my attention and the reviews were true. This stuff is really lightweight. I add a couple of drops to my Clinique DDML every night without fail. I've barely made a dent on the bottle, but the product has made a difference to my skin. My skin is so much smoother, softer and brighter now. It also heals faster when irritated or during stress breakouts and seems to be more balanced throughout the day. These are features I was expecting, but am stoked with as I was expecting the richness of the oil to cause oiliness or breakouts. On that note my pillow has not become extra oily as it has with other oil based products, although I change it frequently anyway. It's nice to have found something so nourishing that doesn't cause me to wake up an oil slick The price is fantastic for the amount of product you get and need to use. I've traveled with the bottle with no leakage, the dropper is very consistent and it's easy to see how much product is left. For the moment this product is a staple, but as I head towards 30 I might try other things.

I don't wear any lip product during the day that hasn't got sunscreen so the spf20 in these little guys is fantastic. By the end of the working week I have these scattered in pockets everywhere and the packages are so bright that it's easy to find them before wash day. I plan to collect more of them because they all sound delicious, but I really love the berry and menthol. I just wish they made a mint or cinnamon variety!

I wear a dusty rose coloured bronzer as a blush so I find this brush is perfect for a light sweeping over the cheeks. I've used the brush with true bronzers and blushes also, and found it works very well with loose pigment as it doesn't pick up a lot of product and gives a very gradiented result. I've even been known to use it to apply my mineral powder to set my makeup if I'm travelling light or my kabuki is drying after a wash :) However the brush sometimes picks up too little product, but this is preferrable to too much.
